The name alone, “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,” might draw confusion and general uncertainty from the average person, but there are some reasons why the new trailer is mildly convincing. The effects look pretty impressive, it’s produced by Tim Burton and it’s based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel of the same name. With roughly 5 percent historical accuracy, the 16th president’s mother is killed by a supernatural creature, which sends him on a rampage against vampires and their slave-owning helpers.
Will you see it or have you had enough of the vampire craze?
Miley Cyrus is making a big screen comeback with the film “LOL”.
“My name is Lola but everyone calls me LOL,” Miley says in the trailer. It’s a comedy about the trials and tribulations of being a teenager – something Miley can definitely relate to.
In addition to Ashley Greene and newcomer Douglas Booth, Miley gets veteran actress Demi Moore co-starring as her concerned mother. I have to admit, watching Moore yell at Miley in the movie is kind of entertaining. Do you think she was picture Ashton the whole time?
You don’t have to be a fan of “Hannah Montana” to appreciate this new comedic turn for Miley. While her aforementioned television show was a lot on the corny side, “LOL” is more funny while being family oriented. A perfect movie to see with your own mom.
The incredibly funny and talented Sacha Baron Cohen has made two feature films based off of his characters on Da Ali G Show. Now, he’s back for a third film, only this time it’s an original character.
In “The Dictator”, Cohen plays General Aladeen, a leader of a made-up country of the middle east. He is sent to New York City to wreck a lot of havoc. This havoc includes forcing President Obama to demand his resignation, shooting others in the foot while running a race and paying to sleep with Megan Fox.
“A ruby? Is this some kind of a joke?” Megan asks. “What am I, a Kardashian?”
“No, you’re much less hairy!” Cohen’s character says.
The Dictator won’t make its way in to theatres until May 11 next year but you can watch the hilarious and ridiculous trailer right now.
You may know him as the writer of the new Muppets movie, but Jason Segel has a rooster of great work on his resume. From “Freaks and Geek” to “How I Met Your Mother” to “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, he proves not only can he be funny and charming, but also a talented script writer.
When you laugh at his jokes on screen, it’s most likely one he wrote himself. Not that many actors can say they do that.
“The Muppets” movie came out two weeks ago but already, you can watch Jason shine in the upcoming comedy “The Five-Year Engagement”. If “Bridesmaids” really made you piss yourself with laughter, you will definitely enjoy the comedy flick Jason wrote. Judd Apatow produced the movie while Nicolas Stoller directed.
The dirty romantic comedy stars Jason playing opposite Emily Blunt as a couple who got engaged but are finding it hard to actually tie the knot.
Watch the trailer posted on Perez Hilton and you will be rolling on the floor.

Hmm, what should I go see in theatres: the Snow White reboot or the Snow White reboot?
Turns out in addition to Kristen Stewart’s fairytale film titled Snow White and the Huntsman, another remake is sneaking up on audiences. Julia Roberts stars in Mirror, Mirror which will also be released next Spring.
A while back, we posted the trailer for the one in which Kristen Stewart plays the lead role. It has a great (and good-looking) cast with Kristen, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth on board. Mirror Mirror doesn’t have any big-box office stars in it, excluding Julia Roberts. What it does have, that teh otehr doesn’t, are seven dwarfs. Julia’s movie is more geared towards children while Kristen’s version is a bit more gritty.
Take a look at the trailer for Mirror, Mirror and pick your favourite. Going to see both films back-to-back might be an overkill.
Pink has never looked happier than at the red carpet with her husband, Carey Hart and 5-month-old daughter, Willow.
US Magazine posted photos of the happy family as they attended the premiere of the animated movie Happy Feet 2, which Pink lends her voice to. It stars a ton of other actors and sings including Elijah Wood, Sofia Vergara of Modern Family, Robin Williams and rapper Common.
At the event, Pink told reporters to help her baby stop crying, she sings her song “So What?”. The 31-year-old mom says she wants to have lots and lots of other babies with her husband.
If you’re a fan of penguins, dancing, and Pink (never really thought it was possible for a movie to showcase all of those at the same time…), then you’d better be heading to the movies on November 18th for the release of Happy Feet 2 in 3D!
The movie not only features star singer Pink in the movie as Gloria, but it even features her vocals on multiple songs from the soundtrack, highlighted by a song of her own, Bridge of Light.
This song works perfectly for a movie because the instrumental aspects of it are very moving with simple lyrics to display emotions. Lyrically, the song isn’t the strongest, but when you take into consideration that it’s part of the soundtrack of Happy Feet 2, it kind of makes sense.
The song talks about how even in the darkest situations all you need is love to build a bridge of light. So if you’re in the kind of mood that only a bridge of light could solve, be sure to give it a listen.
Kristen, Robert and Taylor were the three cast members of Twilight to attend the hand print ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in west Hollywood.
Kristen Stewart News posted a ton of photos of the event. The trio looked beautiful, appreciative and thrilled to be immortalized at the theatre. Judy Garland, Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington and Marilyn Monroe are among the iconic stars with prints displayed at Grauman’s. Looks like these three are going to be in great company.
When Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 opens on November 18, it will definitely be a blockbuster hit. I wouldn’t be surprised if it breaks any ticket sale records.
Johnny Depp is another actor that had his brush with death, it seems.
In an interview with Life Magazine, Depp says while filming his new movie the Rum Diary, he and director Bruce Robinson were on a private jet en route to L.A. when the engine failed and the two thought they were going down.
“The sound of the engines stopped. There was silence. Bruce and I were looking at each other and I think I said, ‘Is this it?’ It was like this weird extended moment when you’re just floating for a second and you could feel this unpleasant descent,” Johnny tells Life Mag.
His new movie, the Rum Diary, is based on a Hunter S. Thompson novel about a journalist who travels to Puerto Rico and gets into dangerous situations – similar to the plane crash scenario.
Depp said while he and his director were panicing, the engine started up again and landed home safely. The two breathed a major sigh of relief and joke that it was a nice bonding experience.
Are you doing anything next Thursday, November 3 at 7:56 p.m. ET? If not, mark it on your calendar.
Three of Twilight‘s biggest stars, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will appear on MTV to introduce a never-seen-before clip of the highly anticipated blockbuster film, Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
The trio will also stick around after the clip to participate in a lengthy Q&A session hosted by MTV’s Josh Horowitz. When the three are together in the same room you know things will get very intimate and interesting. We like how anything can happen during this MTV special. KStew, Taylor and RPattz are never a dull moment.
For the film adaptation of the Green Day album and Broadway musical, American Idiot, the band is rooting for one vampire to take the lead.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said Robert Pattinson would be the ideal actor to star in the lead role.
“I’m gonna say that kid in Twilight. He’s a good actor. There’s still more to come with that kid,” Armstrong told reporters a few years ago.
MTV says the only reason this quote is being resurrected now is because the film’s beginning the preproduction phase and casting has not been made yet. So, Twilight fans might be seeing Edward on the big screen again, only this time, less fangs and more jazz hands.
Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifa have debuted a new track called “Young, Wild & Free”. This will be the official single for Snoop and Wiz’s upcoming film, Mac and Devin Go to High School.
The film which comes out in 2012 has Snoop playing the cool kid, and Wiz playing the nerd.
Khalifa told Billboard, “We’ve got ten songs already and we’re using all ten of them. We’re just doing things that people aren’t doing these days.”
50 Cent is pimping out Vanessa Hudgens…..in a movie.
The 22-year-old actress recently chatted about her upcoming film, Frozen Ground. “It’s an amazing cast. 50 Cent is going to be my pimp,” she laughed.
Vanessa added, “I feel like it’s going to be a challenge that’s unlike anything I’ve done before. I’ll be playing off of a true story and the person who went through all of this will be by my side.”
Once a pimp, always a pimp.
If you dislike Soulja Boy, perhaps you just don’t fully understand him. Well, you are in luck! There is a new Soulja Boy documentary coming out which should clear up misconceptions about the rapper.
Soulja Boy – The Movie will take an in-depth look at the artist, and discuss his power of social media and his musical talent. The film is directed by Peter Spirer, who has made films about Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G. and the Beefseries.
Spirer says, “Soulja Boy is undoubtedly one of the most creative, entrepreneurial hip-hop artists I have ever dealt with. His ability to monetize the internet and his grasp of social media is unparalleled. I think sometimes the press, the public and his peers dismiss him due to lack of understanding or jealousy, and that’s where I hope my film comes in — a straight forward intimate look at a talented young man.”
Will you go see it?
Rajveer has been obsessed with hockey since childhood, but being raised a traditional Sikh meant he had to wear a turban which prohibited him from playing. 50 Cent’s new movie has been forced to back down over the title. His movie was supposed to be called Things Fall Apart, but the name belongs to a 80 year old Nigerian novelist, Chinua Achebe.
Things Fall Apart is the same title as Achebe most famous novel, which was included on the list of Time magazine’s All Time Top 100 Novels. The producers of the movie offered $1 Million to buy the title, but the offer has been rejected.
According to indieWIRE, the new title for the film is All Things Fall Apart.
Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried are on the cover of W for October 2011.
In the article, Justin Timberlake talks about how his guest hosting gig on Saturday Night Live launched his acting career.
“Yeah, I would say that. Hosting SNL was something I’d always wanted to do. The show allowed me to play to my strengths—mixing music with comedy seemed like a way into that world. And then, the second time I hosted, I did the digital short.”
Meanwhile, Amanda shared that her love scenes with Justin in their new film In Time were a blast to shoot.
“Sex scenes are great. A lot of my costars have been sexy guys my age, and so, why not? I’m not going to pretend it’s not fun. Justin was great—he had come from doing Friends With Benefits, where he basically had sex every day at work—and so it was easy for both of us. We just kind of got it on, and then were like, ‘That was good!’”
There has been speculation of turning MTV’s “reality” hit into a movie, but Audrina Patridge says The Hills movie is not going to happen.
“It’s been talked about, but it’s probably never going to happen,” she told a TMZ cameraman as she left . . . somewhere in a hurry.
We don’t understand how you turn a “reality” TV show into a movie. Seriously, what would the movie be about? And would people actually spend $12 bucks to see it?
This must be the easiest $100,000 ever earned in history. Hillary Duff pocketed $100k for not doing the new Bonnie and Clyde movie.
As we reported earlier, Hillary lost the role because she is pregnant. However, her contract still requires the producer to cough up $100k if they fire her, reports TMZ.
Duff told TMZ, “I dont wanna give them any more press than they’ve already gotten off me … I think [my] baby is a little bit more exciting.”
Those crazy Lohans – what ridiculous stunt will they pull next. Dina Lohan (Lindsay’s Mom) is now trying to produce a film, and is looking for $5.28 Million from investors.
TMZ reports the film is called ”Growing Defiant” — which takes “a hard look at the social pressures that can lead a kid in the wrong direction.” Does this sound familiar????
And Dina thinks she can potentially get an all-star cast. Her business plan says potential actors include Dakota Fanning, Selena Gomez, Michael Cera, James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon, Tina Fey,Amanda Seyfried, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Stone, and Mila Kunis … oh, and Michael Lohan, Jr. in the starring role of a heroin addict.
With all do respect Dina, we wouldn’t trust you to make a sex video, nevermind a Hollywood movie.
