Well actually they just hang out and play fetch. But that’s still pretty cool because Meredith is a cat after all, and not a dog. Taylor Swift’s life is pretty much perfect. She’s the type of girl who has celebrity dress-up parties in honour of Shirley MacLaine’s birthday and lectures her Scottish Fold cat Meredith all about ACM voting regulations.
She also chills with Brit singer Ed Sheeran on her kitchen floor and sings with him while he plucks a few strings on the guitar. The duo sang his hit single “Lego House,” leading a lot of people who were already excited about them collaborating on material to LOSE THEIR MINDS.
Ed is penning songs for Taylor’s forthcoming album and based on their harmonies we know their singer/songwriter relationship will be freaking awesome.

Another reason to love Taylor Swift: she has meaningful conversations with her adorable cat Meredith and records them for publicity fun.
In the video, Taylor teaches her surprisingly responsive cat how to vote for her at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Since the winners are chosen by popular vote, Taylor can campaign harder than Reese Witherspoon as Tracy Flick.
Of course, by teaching Meredith about ACM voting and posting the recording on Twitter she inadvertently teaches us all about the process too. Huh, see how that works?
