“One Day at a Time” star, Mackenzie Phillips, has been charged with two felonies in connection with a week old drug bust at Los Angeles International Airport, reports E!

Phillips allegedly tried to smuggle small baggies of narcotics past security screeners this past August. She faces one felony count each of possession with cocaine and heroin. She also has been charged with a misdemeanor count of unauthorized possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe.

Airport staff found the substances after asking the actress to submit to a secondary screening. She told them that she was “holding.” She later admitted to officers that she had a “drug problem.”

In the past, Phillips has claimed to have been exposed to drugs as a kid by her late father, John Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas.

Her arraignment is scheduled for October.
