Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final installment of the Twilight series, will shoot right after the third film, Eclipse, according to Perez Hilton. While the second and third films were previously slated to be filmed back-to-back, fans were concerned about no apparent plans for the fourth movie.

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the films, recently revealed in an interview that she would be preparing to shoot the last installment immediately after shooting wrapped on the third movie. “We’re going to start right after Eclipse,” she said.

Filming for Eclipse is planned to begin August 17 of this year, and is expected to wrap around October 31.

New Moon - the sequel to last November’s Twilight - is scheduled to hit theatres in November 2009. Eclipse is planned to follow in the summer of 2010, leaving fans to expect Breaking Dawn around the summer of 2011.

The Twilight movies are based on the wildly popular books of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. Breaking Dawn sold 1.3 million copies in the 24 hours following its August 2, 2008 release.

Melissa Rosenberg wrote the script for the first three films, with Meyer credited as co-screenwriter.
