Yes, you read that right. This blazing haired tween sang a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” and it’s ridiculously soulful. Considering his age, I’m surprised he can connect with the words so much. At that age I remember boys serenading girls by getting their friends to ask you to the school dance or telling you to check off yes or no on a sheet of paper. Meanwhile, this dude can just be like “Hey Sally, come over and I’ll masterly sing the reasons why we should get it on.”
I think most people agree on YouTube that he won’t have too much trouble finding a date when he’s older:
The story of Marvin Gaye is set to hit the big-screen, with Law & Order’s Jesse L. Martin starring as the iconic soul singer and The Soprano’s James Gandolfini as Gaye’s promoter Freddy Cousaert.
Martin, who is also known for his work in the Broadway musical “Rent,” has long been attached to play the lead role in the biopic “Sexual Healing.”
Besides joining the cast, Gandolfini has also signed on to produce the movie via his company Attaboy Films.
Director Lauren Goodman loosely based her screenplay on the Steve Turner book “Trouble Man.”
The film will follow Gaye during his final years, from his parting with Motown and drug problems to his self-imposed exile in Europe and his untimely death in 1984.
The story will highlight his relationship with Cousaert, who was behind the singer during the recording of his hit album “Midnight Love.”
The film will begin shooting in April in Massachusetts, Los Angeles and Belgium.
A recent Yahoo! Music poll has determined people still like getting down and nasty to Marvin Gaye’s classic luvin’ song, “Sexual Healing.”
Other songs which have been helping guys seduce the sweet ladies for years include INXS’ “I Need You Tonight” and Madonna’s “Justify My Love.”
