While Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s wedding seemed like a fairy tale, things took a quick turn for the worst when a “gag” video was shown during the festivities.
The video, which features homeless people offering their best wishes because they couldn’t make the big day, was created by Timberlake’s friend Justin Huchel. With a portion of the video first published on Gawker, lawyers are now trying to get the clip taken down because viewers found it so offensive.
So to set things straight, Timberlake wrote an open letter apologizing if he offended anyone.
In the letter, he claims that he “was not made aware” of the video by adding, “I do understand the reaction and, by association, I am holding myself accountable.”
And while Timberlake defends his friends by saying they are “good people” , he also ensured that he will be making his friend do “100 hours of community service”. Check out the rest of his letter on Timberlake’s website.
Mistakes like these happen to the best of us, but I thought the video was in very bad taste. Perhaps the 100 community service hours will teach this friend a good lesson!

THIS IS FACT. Miley Cyrus announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, which is upsetting for their legions of fans who legitimately thought they had a chance with the celebrities. Personally, I really thought we had something Liam, I did.
“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus told People magazine.
Hemsworth proposed to her on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring. Then on June 6 she sent out a blissful, though at the time slightly confusing, tweet. It’s all coming together now:

This is definitely a case of underage and engaged as Miley is only 19 and Liam is 22, (BTW this makes me feel old) but when you think about it, she’s been a working woman for years now. The couple have been dating for three years, since meeting on the set of “The Last Song” in 2009.
There are no details about their unscheduled wedding and the pair are pretty damn busy in the meantime anyway. Cyrus is working on her fourth studio album and Hemsworth is filming the movie “Empire State” in New Orleans.
I’d ask: “What do you think? Will they last?” But ultimately, it’s not any of our business so we’d just like to pass along our congratulations to the couple!! CONGRATS.
It’s not a huge surprise to hear that Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are making it official and getting hitched. The 24-year-old Grammy nominated rapper and model have been dating for a little over a year and have talked about marriage in the past.
The newly engaged couple broke the news on Twitter with a picture of her bling ring. Rose tweeted “He has made me the Happiest Woman in the world!!!!!”
Wiz Khalifa also tweeted: “She said Yes!!”
Then the duo received tons of congratulatory responses, including one from fellow rapper Mac Miller, who can already foresee wild wedding pastries.

Donald Deaver was arrested and charged with felonious assault for allegedly stabbing a 48-year-old Garfield Heights, Ohip man following an argument.
Fox 8 reports the fight began because the victim did not know that singer Beyonce’s husband is rapper Jay-Z. The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. on December 31, 2011, outside Deaver’s apartment.

Mike Myers has wed his longtime girlfriend Kelly Tisdale in a secret ceremony, said his rep to E Online. The two have been dating since 2006 and have been secretly married for several months.
“I can confirm that last fall, Mike Myers and Kelly Tisdale were married in a private ceremony and celebrated with family and friends,” his rep told E! News.
Myers’ was married once before to wife of 12 years, comedy writer Robin Ruzan, meanwhile Tisdale was previously linked with music star Moby.
It completely baffles me how celebs are able to get away with things like this. I mean, Mike Myers is by no means an A-list celebrity who is constantly being hounded by paparazzi, but you’d think at least one paparazzi would be on location. Props to him though if he’s able to be in movies AND have a private life – something that isn’t easy to do in the world of Hollywood. Must be because he’s Canadian.
Speaking of Hollywood, though, while we’re on the topic of Myers – what has he done lately? The last huge blockbuster he’s been in is, of course, Austin Powers, which I dearly miss. But he hasn’t really done much after that, has he? Sure, Shrek can count as something but he wasn’t actually acting in it. Throwing on some PJs and recording your voice in a booth isn’t exactly hard work, in my opinion.
I say it’s time to bring back another Austin Powers movie. Except no Beyonce in it, this time.
Big buzz hit the internet earlier this week when Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and screen star boyfriend Jason Statham stepped out with an extra little accessory – a HUGE rock on Whiteley’s ring finger!
Many speculated that the older action hero finally popped the question, but Whitely took time to dispel the rumors, stating “no, that’s not an engagement ring.”

The original Playboy Hugh Hefner is taking yet another trip down the aisle with one of his beautiful playmates.
Radar Online is reporting that the Hef popped the question to Crystal Harris, a 24-year-old and Playboy’s Miss January, on Christmas. The magazine tycoon took to his Twitter account to announce the happy news.
“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory,” Hefner microblogged.
The 84-year-old did not mention a set date or location for the ceremony, but we imagine Crystal is already eagerly planning away. After all, why delay a wedding to an octogenarian gazillionaire with dozens of girlfriends who look exactly like you?

Pop Eater is reporting that Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden has finally wed his long-time girlfriend (and mother of his two children) Nicole Ritchie in what is being called a “glamorous, old Hollywood affair.”
The guest list (which despite earlier reports of being “close family only” ended up sitting at around 130) included some of today’s biggest entertainers including Gwen Stefani, Ashlee Simpson, and Kris Jenner. We can only presume that daughter Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow, 1, also joined the couple as they took their vows.
Though largely shrouded in secrecy, it has been confirmed that the wedding was an outdoor affair and somehow involved a (very well trained) elephant.
Elephants are so in this season after all!

“Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer is officially engaged to his new girlfriend Kayte Walsh, reports Radar Online.
Kayte flaunted her huge diamond ring at the train terminal in Washington D.C. as the couple arrived for the Kennedy Center Honors gala. This good news comes just weeks after Walsh suffered a terrible miscarriage and lost their first child together.
Grammer’s rep confirmed the engagement, adding that the couple was “happy and very much in love.”
That sure was a quick recovery on Grammer’s part! He divorced his wife of fourteen years just this past July. That’s gotta hurt!

Radar Online is reporting that Jessica Simpson and BF Eric Johnson are engaged to be married after only seven months of dating.
Suspicions were raised when Simpson was spotted sporting a gigantic rock at an appearance in Kansas City this weekend. Her rep was quick to confirm the rumor, saying they were “Happy to confirm that Jessica and Eric are engaged.”
The news comes just days after Simpson’s ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to new flame Vanessa Minnillo. Though considering the circumstances, we’d say ex-football player Johnson is a major upgrade from the 98 Degrees washup.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand finally tied the knot this past Saturday in what is being described as a “traditional Hindu ceremony” at the Aman-i-Khas resort in India, the same resort at which Brand proposed to Perry on New Year’s Eve.
The couple’s rep confirmed their nuptials, stating “Russell Brand and Katy Perry are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23. The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples’ closest family and friends was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of the Hudson Family. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India.”
You can’t call it a traditional Hindu ceremony if it’s being performed under a different religion, guys! You’re so silly.
Though the venue was covered with colourful lights and flower garlands, there was one installment that was not strictly decorative. Radar Online reports that the ceremony and reception were heavily guarded by security in order to keep nosy paparazzi away from the celebration.

Radar Online reports that the couple is still going strong but the ring is just a romantic gesture. Jaracz and Carey have not wed – yet.
Jaracz, a culinary school graduate, got engaged to Carey well over three years ago now, but a date has still not been set according to Nicole’s mom, Saundra Jaracz.

With the recent announcement of Bristol Palin’s, daughter of Sarah Palin, re-engagement to Levi Johnston, you think Sarah would be somewhat happy. Apparently not.
PopEater reports that Sarah has already made threats to Levi if he harms her family again.
“Levi did everything he could to destroy Sarah and her family. He has accused Sarah of being a bad mother, a bad wife and a bad leader. How can he walk back into their life like nothing happened? Country star Carrie Underwood married NHL player Mike Fisher last night at a Southern luxury resort.
People reports their wedding planner called the ceremony “a spiritual expression of their love” – a special moment for a “very special couple.” 250 friends and family were apparently in attendance.
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” the newlyweds told PEOPLE in a statement, signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
America’s favorite receptionist Jenna Fischer from “The Office” has married over the weekend, reports UsMagazine.com.
Fischer married TV writer Lee Kirk, who she has been engaged to since the Summer of 2008. In attendance was “The Office” co-star Rainn Wilson, who took to Twitter right after the ceremony.
“Went to the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever experienced,” Wilson tweeted. “Total Love, Jenna Fischer & Lee Kirk!
This is the second marriage for Fischer, who wed director James Gunn in 2000. They divorced in 2007.
You wouldn’t think Joe Francis is the type of guy for marriage, but he is out to prove that’s not the case. Francis has proposed to a beautiful L.A. reporter named Christina McLarty, whom he has been dating for four years.
Francis told Page Six that he popped the question while vacationing with McLarty in St. Tropez. However this will not be a mainstream marriage.
“We have chosen to have a civil domestic partnership because we don’t believe it’s appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States,” he said.
The ceremony will have 200 guests at Francis’ beachfront estate in Punta Mita, Mexico.
“The weekend will be fun, luxurious and filled with lots of surprises,” he said, revealing that music producer Quincy Jones has agreed to be his best man.

California beauty Queen Carrie Prejean is taking the plunge and will be marrying Oakland Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller.
TMZ has learned the couple will say their vows on Friday at the Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego.
Prejean received major media attention in 2009 when she answered a question by Perez Hilton during the Miss USA Pageant. When asked by Perez about her views on same sex marriage, she did not feel same sex marriage should be made legal.
