Russell Brand and Katy Perry are getting divorced. Brand filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to TMZ.

As we reported earlier today, rumors have been swirling about the state of their marriage. However, sources were saying that although the couple were having problems, they were trying to work things out.

“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends,” the 36-year-old Brit comedian told the Associated Press.

Rumors of their relationship troubles surfaced during the holidays when the couple were seen without their wedding rings.

Brand, who is starring in the upcoming Rock of Ages and Diablo Cody’s directorial debut and 27-year-old Perry wed October 2011 in India.

The two actors in the series who played a cheating couple, Rolando Boyce and LeShay Tomlinson found love in a hopeless place. Since they married, Rolando and LeShay have had two kids together. The couple looked incredibly dashing in their wedding photo that TMZ posted.

Rumours are flying on the internet after Britney tweeted a rather suspicious suggestion that Jason Trawick may have finally proposed.

At just 30 years old, Britney Spears is already chasing down Elizabeth Taylor’s all-time record for most celebrity marriages. This will be the third time Britney has said her vows, but the first time it will really seems legitimate.

We all know the years haven’t always been kind to Britney and I’m just happy she found a nice guy who’s a good influence on her. Since they got together, we’ve seen many candid photos of the couple looking genuinely happy with her two kids from a previous marriage. You could even say it’s starting to look like the nuclear family she always wanted. In addition, since being with Jason, there hasn’t been a single “hot mess” moment and no one has threatened to shave their head.

We’re still waiting on the official confirmation but let’s hope it’s true so we can finally be rid of K-Fed forever.

Kim Kardashian is suing her former publicist Jonathan Jaxson after Jaxson went on a media tour calling her marriage to Kris Humphries a “sham.”

“It was obvious that it was staged,” Jaxson recently said on “Good Day L.A.” “There were contracts already in place for E! to film it. Everything was written down.”

Now Kim and her lawyer are suing Jaxson for $200,000 for damages. Jonathan posted the following on his blog, saying there are no grounds for the suit.

“To the best of my knowledge, I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties signature on it,” wrote Jaxson, who added that many of his recent statements have been based on conversations with friends he and Kardashian share.

Drake showed his sensitive side during an interview with Elle Magazine. He talked about his fake Twitter marriage with Nicki Minaj, and he says he would marry her in real life.

“I don’t know if we were really pretending. I’d marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me,” said Drake about Young Money’s first lady.

Drake also admits that on the road, he does get lonely. “When you’re on the road and moving city to city, when someone isn’t there at the end of the night, you feel empty.”

Prior to her death, Amy Winehouse was planning to marry boyfriend and film director Reg Traviss.

Reg told The Sun newspaper: “We had spoken about getting married. She had spoken to members of my family about it. It is something that was going to happen.”

The day of Amy’s death, Reg was supposed to attend a wedding with Amy.

He added: “I had appointments on Saturday morning – normal things. A haircut, pick up shoes and my suit for the wedding. I was thinking it was a bit strange she hadn’t called.

“As I left the hairdresser, I saw I had a missed call from Amy’s security guy. She was always misplacing her phone, so I thought she had probably just borrowed his. When I got to the office I rang and spoke to the security guy. He just said, ‘Reg. Something terrible has happened.’ You could tell in his voice. He said, ‘You better get here straight away’. And that was it. I dropped everything and went.”

Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick were spotted doing some engagement ring shopping Monday afternoon in L.A.

“They discussed diamonds from the Mouawad private collection,” a source told X17 of Trawick’s meeting with high-end jeweler Pascal Mouaward.

The couple have been spotted hanging together everywhere, so hopefully this is true love for Britney. If it all goes right, this would be the third marriage for Britney.

Justin Bieber is only 17, but he is already planning for marriage. The singer told Women’s Wear Daily that he wants to be married by 25.

“Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family,” he said when asked where he sees himself in five years. “I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do — to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25.”

However, he wants to make sure everyone understands, ”One thing — I’m not looking to get married now,” he said.

Lil’ Romeo bumped into a cameraman from Rumorfix where he made a sudden proposal to Demi Lovato.

“Next time y’all see Demi Lovato, tell [her] Romeo said, ‘Hi,’” he started off unassumingly. He even startled the cameraman, who urged the 22-year-old to make his feelings known (and give him a good sound bite).

“Demi Lovato, if you see this, this is me proposing to you right now,” he said to the camera. “I don’t got the ring, but that’s nothing. You know, I listen to Beyoncé’s song, when she said ‘put a ring on it,’ so I got you!”

Snooki is growing up and starting to think about marriage. At least that’s what she said during an interview with Good Morning America.

“I’ve calmed down already. I don’t hook up anymore,” she said during Wednesday’s show. “I’ll always be this crazy, fun person, but when it’s time to get married, I’m going to be an amazing wife.”

She also said she wants “Guido babies” with her boyfriend Jionni LaValle, but just not quite yet. She then shouted, “Big ring, baby!”

As andPOP reported yesterday, rumours are swirling that Katy Perry and husband Russell Brand are having marriage problems. However Perry took to Twitter yesterday to address those accusations.

These rumors surfaced after a source said the couple had barely seen one another for four months, and they were considering a separation.

On her Twitter account, Perry wrote, ”Just cause we don’t flaunt our relationship doesn’t mean there’s something wrong w/ (with) it. Privacy is our luxury. Tabloids r (are) trash. Gossip is gross.”

Brand had the same feelings, saying “You tell ‘em Mrs Brand! In Britain we’re currently dismantling the scum media so I’m not tuned in to their brain-farting.”

One of Hollywood’s favorite celebrity couples maybe taking a break from marriage. Reports are surfacing that Katy Perry and Russell Brand are having problems with this whole marriage thing.

Heat Magazine reports that over the past four months, the couple have only spent six days together. Katy’s said to have told a friend that she and Russ are “thinking of taking a break from our marriage”, and that she’s “worried it could be the end of the road.”

Her friends told Heat that Katy’s said “It would be heartbreaking if we didn’t make it to our first wedding anniversary, but our situation is pretty bad.”

An unfortunate situation considering the couple looked to be very much in love. Nevertheless, if Katy does end her marriage with Russell, guys won’t feel as guilty picturing her naked. One upside at least.

Singer/songwriter Jason Mraz has called off his engagement to fiancee Tristan Prettyman, reports Canoe Jam.

Mraz proposed to Prettyman just last December, but the couple has now split due to Mraz’s heavy workload.

The couple was waiting to walk down the aisle until gay marriage is legalized in the U.S., but now Mraz confirms that the engagement is off.

Telling The Daily Beast, Mraz says, “My greatest mistake right now is, I’ve been clinging to my art. In that, I have victory for my art and a great loss for my heart. At the moment, my beautiful fiancee is no longer my beautiful fiancee.”

“Two halves don’t make a whole. Two wholes make a whole. In my relationship, I was giving myself away to make the relationship better, but in actuality, wasn’t doing better by doing that. I became less of a man.”

He insists the two are still friends, though, and hang out together all the time.

“We are still super friends, we go to yoga together, we surf together. We acknowledge the journey that each of us is on. We certainly want each of us to feel whole and complete. And it’s when you’re whole and complete that that attraction exists and it really thrives.”

Mraz makes plenty of women swoon over his lyrics and music, so I’m sure he will find someone in no time. Maybe he should take a break and reconnect with his old flame.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reconsidering getting married, despite earlier vows to never tie the knot.

The famous couple claims that they are feeling the pressure from their children to become husband and wife, despite previously insisting they would only exchange vows when same-sex marriage is legalized.

In a 2006 interview with Esquire magazine, Pitt famously declared: “Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.”

But Pitt now admits they are warming up to the idea of marriage, thanks to much convincing from their six children.

He tells USA Weekend magazine, “The kids ask about marriage. It’s meaning more and more to them. So it’s something we’ve got to look at.”

Both stars have been married before; Pitt divorced Jennifer Aniston in 2005 after falling for Jolie while co-starring in action comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith, while Jolie was previously wed to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

I hope they do get married. It’s a nice gesture that they are doing by not getting married, as they are standing for equality, but they are my favourite Hollywood couple and I would love to read all the details of their big day. Either way, though, they shouldn’t be forced to get married. They should do what’s right for them as a couple.

“Austin Powers” star Mike Myers is expecting his first child, reports Perez Hilton.

Myers will become a dad for the first time at age 47. His new wife, Kelly Tisdale, is expecting and in her second trimester.

Tisdale, a co-founder of Lower East Side hipster cafe Teany, was seen with friends in New York this week looking glowing and showing off a neat bump.

Myers’ rep confirmed the pregnancy, saying “I can confirm they are expecting a child.”

This news comes after the funnyman secretly married Tisdale in New York last fall, after dating for four years. “They were married in a private ceremony and celebrated with family and friends,” his rep confirmed at the time. They got together shortly after Myers split from his first wife, comedy writer and actress Robin Ruzan, after a 12-year marriage.

Things seem to be moving awfully quick between these two, but if they’re happy, they’re happy. Congrads!

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have reportedly split up, reports CTV.

The couple, who have been dating for over five years, ended their relationship last week after they both realized neither of them are ready to settle down.

A source said: ”It was amicable, they’re still friends and they are still talking. They just grew apart and went their separate ways.”

“Neither are ready to settle down, and both have busy careers that have been taking them in different directions.”

This is not the first time the couple have split. They split for six months in 2009 after dating for four years, before reuniting last year.

Leonardo, 36, has previously admitted he is unsure if he will ever marry because seeing other people’s failed marriages has put him off tying the knot.

“I don’t know whether I’ll ever get married. I’ve seen too many supposedly happy marriages go down. I’ve been as shocked as anyone,” said DiCaprio.

“No one can look at the marriages of other people and make a judgement. I don’t know the private lives of the actors I work with. I just know if they are good actors or good directors.”

If he can’t see himself marrying a supermodel like Refaeli, then I don’t know if he ever will get married. They seem to be an off-and-on couple, so my bet is they will be back together within months.

Ouch, that has to sting.

John Cleese is writing his memoirs to fund a nasty divorce settlement, reports CTV.

The ‘Monty Python’ actor and comedian is writing a book in order to help fund his £12.2 million divorce settlement from third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger.

The book, to be titled ‘The Maintenance Memoirs,’ will be written by John with an official biographer, with them each taking it in turns to write a page. The book is thought to be able to command an advance of around £2 million from potential publishers.

Cleese told ‘The Sun’ newspaper: “I don’t think anybody’s ever done one like this. I’d been putting it off – partly because I was too busy, and also because it was too difficult trying to remember things.”

The 71-year-old star has previously said he needs to earn about £1 million a year to pay off the settlement and he is currently on a comedy tour of the U.K., dubbed ‘The Alimony Tour,’ which finishes on July 2.

That has to suck. Working just to pay off a divorce? Cleese must be worth a hell of a lot or must have done something really bad, because the ex-wife seems to be getting a lot of money out of this.

Hopefully the book makes all that money and more, so he actually gets something out of writing it.

Former ‘Girl Next Door’ Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, who complained to E! News not long ago that she hadn’t received her invitation to Hugh Hefner’s wedding, has finally received her wedding invitation. Via email.

That’s right – the former girlfriend to Hef revealed on Jay Leno’s ‘The Tonight Show’ Thursday that she has finally received the wedding invite to Hef and Crystal Harris’ wedding. In case you’re wondering who Crystal Harris is, she is a blonde Playmate (shocking.)

“I hadn’t gotten my invitation yet,” the reality star said. “I was a little bit worried, so I put it out there into the universe—the media,” she admitted. “You know, sometimes you have to use being a celebrity sometimes, get things out there and be like, ‘Where’s my invitation? Wink-wink.’”

“I actually got an email from Hef right after that,” she added.

Jay Leno also happened to have a copy of the email – oh the magic of television!

“Dear Kendra,” it read. “We haven’t sent any ‘Save the Dates,’ but if you can’t make the planned wedding on June 18, we’ll just change the date. Do you think I’d consider getting married without you being there?!”

“Keep shaking your booty. I love you. See you soon. All best, Hef.”

How sweet. I wonder if the two previous Girl Next Doors (Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt) got invited as well. Who knows, but Kendra insists she is attending.

“Yeah, of course,” Kendra said when Jay asked if she’d be going.

“He’s really, really happy about it,” she had said earlier. “He’s where he wants to be in life and I’m happy for him…I’m glad he’s doing what he wants to do.”

I don’t see the point of Hef getting married, but whatever makes him happy. He’s gone his entire life being a player and I never would have pegged him to be the married type, yet there he goes shocking everyone once again. Hey – congrads!
