Last night, Marie Osmond stepped back on stage for the first time since the tragic death of her son, reports TMZ.
At her Las Vegas performance, Osmond spoke to the audience about her recent loss.
“The way Osmonds survive is we keep singing and that’s what we want to do tonight … I know my son would want that. He was full of love and laughter and this show is for him, ” said an emotional Osmond.

TMZ reports that Marie Osmond’s son, Michael Biosil, left a suicide note for a woman who lived in his apartment building.
Sources tell TMZ that the woman received a text message from Michael Biosil that he left a note for her in his apartment. The woman was let into the apartment by Biosil’s roommate and they found the note. The note explained that the woman was Biosil’s only friend in L.A. and that he was very upset.

The Dancing with the Stars finale saw to it that another Osmond made it to the finale, but this time, there was a first-place finish involved.
The show hosted celebrities among the likes of former pop-star Aaron Carter, Melissa Joan Hart and Tom DeLay, who were all eliminated before Donny Osmond’s victory on Tuesday (November 24) night.
Osmond was famous for his singing and his family’s television sitcom way back in the ’70s. Partnered with blonde bombshell, Kym Johnson, Osmond edged out the other two finalists, Kelly Osbourne and Mya. According to Entertainment Weekly, Osmond declared that he doesn’t think he has worked harder for something in his life. He told them that “when you record an album and it goes platinum, yeah, you’re in the studio and you work hard for months, but it’s not like your whole body hurts. Maybe you get a little hoarse and tired. But on Dancing with the Stars, everything hurts.”

Marie Osmond is countersuing her former manager, claiming he has defamed her and made extortionist demands, reports TMZ. Osmond wants $2 million from P. Karl Engemann.
The legal papers claim Engemann “tried to extort Osmond to pay more compensation to him by defaming and disparaging Osmond to third parties.” She claims he screwed up her plans for a talk show and ruined negotiations with Dancing with the Stars.
Marie Osmond announced yesterday that her 16-year-old son has entered rehab.
As she told ET, “My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother, I couldn’t be more proud of him. The press and public has always been kind and gracious in the past and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time.”
What he has entered rehab for was not discussed.
This is certainly a difficult time for the Osmond family, as Marie’s father died last Tuesday.
Marie Osmond danced her breath away last night on “Dancing With the Stars.”
After dancing a samba number, Osmond was listening to the panel’s comments when her eyes rolled back in her head and she fell to the ground.
Appearing quite well after the commercial break, Osmond apologized for the scare. “Once in awhile that happens to me, when I get winded and I stop breathing,” she explained. “I’m so sorry.”
Despite how much effort she put into the routine, Osmond score was only 21.
