As the Justin Bieber baby daddy case progresses, Mariah Yeater’s ex-boyfriend, Robbie Powell, has come out of the shadows and is claiming he is certain that he is the father of Yeater’s baby, not Bieber.
According to TMZ, Powell chose now to break his silence because he is tired of Yeater using “their” baby in order to get her 15 minutes of fame, and believes that she started this madness because she needs money. Sounds like the most obvious solution, right? Hey kids, do you need some cash? Just say that Justin Bieber is your baby’s daddy! Sounds ompletely rational to me.
TMZ adds that media outlets have reached out to Powell to get his side of the story. We can’t wait to hear that interview!

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were together Saturday at the AMA rehearsal.
A source told Us Weekly Justin “was in great spirits when he came for a couple hours to rehearse” for the American Music Awards on Saturday.
“At one point Justin even sang ‘I Feel Good’ a la James Brown!” the source adds. “They were totally adorable. They were snuggling in between takes, and he was serenading her! They look as in love as ever.”
Selena continues to stick by Justin despite the allegations by Mariah Yeater that Bieber fathered her child.
Justin Bieber is determined to put Mariah Yeater’s claims to bed, and he has finally taken a paternity test. Biebs and his crew are confident the DNA test will prove he’s not the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby.
Bieber was apparently eager to take the test. Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, said, “He doesn’t mind. He’s like, ‘I’m just going to go ahead..(with) it and be fine.’”
However, if Mariah is proven to be a liar, Justin is still going after her for making these false claims. The question is what does Mariah have to offer if she loses the lawsuit? The only thing she has is food stamps, and she needs those for her baby.
The girl that’s been trying to convince the entire world that Justin Bieber knocked her up, has finally been busted, thanks to the info TMZ just posted.
When TMZ got their hands on the messages, the person Mariah Laci Yeater was texting to asked to be named anonymous. She texted “erase all messages from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies son. I’ll kick you when we get paid. I’m trusting you please.” She ends all messaged with her first and middle name.
This is a no-brainer. Robbie, an assumed ex-boyfriend is really the guy at fault here, not Justin Bieber. And the fact that she mentions money proves her incentive for this whole scam was to get Justin’s money.
In another photo TMZ posted, Mariah’s message reads “would you please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in his son’s life?”

Hours after being dropped by her lawyers and announcing her dismissal of the lawsuit against Justin Bieber, Mariah Yeater’s new representative, Jeffrey Leving, is assuring the public that the case is still on.
Her rep also says Mariah and Justin have decided to take matters out of the court due to the number of death threats she has has been receiving. No kidding, Mariah. Welcome to the life of Selena Gomez!
“I did not step down and there is a legal team,” Leving told a Chicago news station. “It’s a new legal team….She believes Justin Bieber is the father. Right now there’s no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I’m not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s council and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test.”
Leving goes on to say his goal once the DNA test is completed is to keep things confidential. We highly doubt the results of the paternity test will remain a secret. You are talking about the biggest pop star on the planet!
Does he really think they’re all just going to disappear and slip away into the dark, never having to answer about it again? After following this story as it unfolds, we’re just dying to know what the outcome will be. So for their sake, as well as ours, we hope this all gets settled very soon.

TMZ reports 20-year-old Mariah Yeater, who was so certain Justin Bieber was the father of her baby, dismissed the lawsuit against the singer. To add salt to the wound, her two laywers have quit on her.
Justin Bieber was surprisingly willing to give Mariah a DNA test to prove his innocence. He was also planning on suing the young girl for her wacky, public accusation.
Can’t say I’m surprised about Mariah’s outcome. If she was so dead certain he’s the father she wouldn’t pull out last minute – no pun intended! This goes to show she was full of bologna.
It’s official, last night reports started surfacing that Maury is officially courting Justin Bieber for what could be the show’s most watched episode ever.
According to the Huffington Post, producers of The Maury Show wants to broadcast the results of the Yeater – Bieber paternity test on national television. A spokesperson for the show commented, saying ”we are actively pursuing this story.”
Amy Rosenblum, the former executive producer of the show also thinks it could be a huge money maker.
“This would be a huge TV event … When I brought the DNA test to TV for the first time on Maury, I had no idea it would still be as popular today as it was then. Maury is trusted by millions of viewers and if Maury told Justin ‘You are not the father,’ everyone would believe it,” she told the Post.
Maury is infamous for his paternity tests and there is no better place to hear those magic five words, “You ARE NOT the father!”
I think we all saw this coming. This story is a candidate for andPOP’s least shocking post ever. However, if it does happen, I can’t wait to see Justin dance when he gets the results. Even better, Usher could join him and they can glide across the stage together as Mariah storms off to accuse one of the 10,000 other possible fathers.

TMZ reports Justin’s lawyer has contacted Mariah’s attorney’s to let them know what’s happening. And apparently once Justin proves he’s not the father, he plans to sue Mariah for trying to ruin his name. Bieber and his team think she should pay for trying to spread such bogus and serious allegations.

Justin Bieber called into Harvey at TMZ to make some further statements about the claims he’s the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby. Justin explained that the girl is lying, and he’s not even paying attention to it.
Justin further explained that given his celebrity status, it’s natural that he will be a target for these type of accusations. The guys from TMZ also revealed that this isn’t the first time Mariah has made these type pf claims. Apparently, last year she claimed her ex-boyfriend was the father of the same kid.
During an appearance on the Today show this morning, Justin addressed rumours he impregnated a 20-year-old American girl.
“I never met the woman,” he said. “I know that I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”
Justin added that claims made by Mariah Yeater that he led her backstage for a secret romp are not true. He says he goes straight to the car right after a show.
While Bieber’s camp works hard to clear the air, Yeater finds herself in legal troubles. The Associated Press reported Yeater can be charged with statutory rape if her story is true. An L.A. police officer told AP the police will investgate the issue.
While Bieber continue to be the biggest popstar in the world, Yeater will forever be known as That Chick That Publicly Lied About Banging Bieber. Yeah, that’s totally a label that will really get you far in life.
