Oh Yoko! You’ve done it again! Your partnership with Opening Ceremony is just the gift that keeps on giving! But seriously, as a male I do confess that I know nothing about makeup so I’m glad you came up with this video to show me and my boys that there are no limits to what we can do with makeup.
This tutorial video is threaded together by a poem that has amazing lines like, “When you see a rainbow in the sky/Breathe it in/And make your room into a rainbow,” and “Everything that sparkles will bring you a sparkling life/Sparkling eyes, sparkling belly button, sparkling legs.” And even some great advice like “Take rainbow pills – but with caution.” Did we mention the background music? You need to listen the background music.
But it’s not all fun and games as she gets seriously deep. Throw away that mirror, she says!
Yoko has you or your gents covered with make-up tips for daytime, evening and dawn with all three looks just as kooky and amazing as the next. Her oh-so wise advice will pair well with the crotch-grab Opening Ceremony fashion line, which she says was inspired by John Lennon’s body. TMI? TMI.

Oh, Yoko. You win all the awards!

Need a reason why your boyfriend shouldn’t do your makeup? We’ll give you five.
I’ve been investigating the “My Boyfriend Does My Makeup” tag on YouTube and realized how truly awful about 90 percent of the end results look. Dark crimson lipstick smeared across the upper lip; liquid mascara drawn with the left hand; blush on the forehead. It’s terrifying.
If you’re a makeup aficionado with a willing boyfriend who can’t handle a mascara wand to save his life, we beg you to upload your own tutorial too.

Fashion Rocks My Socks
FashionRocksMySocks‘ Rhiannon Ashlee had her boyfriend Doug do her makeup while he was visiting for the weekend. I had high hopes because his hair is so perfectly coiffed but unfortunately he fell short, especially when it came to blending and highlighting.
Jenna Marbles
JennaMarbles couldn’t stop making fun of her adorable boyfriend of four years Max while he was doing her makeup. She’s one ballsy chick for allowing him to handle the eyeliner while getting drunk. He gets extra points for attempting false lashes but lost them for attempting to put glue directly on her lid.

Usually when you come across a tutorial on YouTube, it’s to find out how to get the hottest trend, or in some cases, watch as girls let their boyfriends apply their makeup.
In this time-lapse video, it shows a typical girl next door, turning into your worst nightmare. It’s crazy what makeup can do to you, especially seeing it in the flesh and not just another photoshopped ad. The video was created for Intel’s A Momentary Lapse, to celebrate the change over time. I wonder what other examples they could of came up with?
Sigh.. looks like the zombie craze will never end.
Ladies, this PSA showcases the dangers of letting your boyfriend do your makeup. It might seem like a funny idea at the time but the result is usually scary. YouTube makeup artist bubzbeauty has been with her boyfriend Tim for nine years now. After some major convincing, Tim agreed to stop playing Diablo 3 and do her makeup.
While he has good technique, his execution is a little off. Unless he was going for the clown/fairy look. Then he’s right on.

Everybody calm down. If Jennifer Lopez had a nip slip at the Oscars you are not going to see it. Immediately after presenting the Oscars for costume design and makeup with Cameron Diaz, Twitter erupted because of the two ladies’ strange behaviour.
Halfway through presenting, the two ladies turned their backs toward the cameras and started giggling. J Lo’s dress was very low cut so it’s possible she did a quick rearrangement. No word from the Academy, J Lo’s breasts or any legitimate person in America.
Lady Gaga is no stranger to controversy and strong opinions, and apparently that was no different as a child. The singer recently revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that she was teased when she was younger, reports Canoe Jam.
The singer and fashion enthusiast shared the bullying she endured at a convent school in New York, revealing her peers would call her “a slut” and poke fun at her fake tan, hair, makeup choices, and even the way she laughs.
Guess her peers weren’t into the whole catholic moral thing, it being the ‘Catholic school Convent of the Scared Heart’ and all. Gaga shares that her peers were malicious in her youth, and that somedays she didn’t want to go to school at all.
Gaga says: “(They’d say) ‘Your laugh is funny, you’re weird, why do you always sing, why are you so into theatre, why do you do your make-up like that, what’s with your eyebrows?’
“I used to do these really big Evita brows. I used to self-tan, and I had this really intense tan in school, and people would say, ‘Why the f**k are you so orange, why do you do your hair that way, are you a dyke (lesbian)…?’
Gaga is also now amused by the fact that many of the bullies have now gone on quote to say she was ‘popular’ as a child. She seems to think they are doing it to redeem themselves.
“All of those people were bullies.”
Well, in Gaga’s defence, who’s laughing now?
In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the pop singer and transformation guru revealed the dirty secrets of her beauty regime – including, that she wears makeup to bed every night.
“That is not good for your skin,” said the singer. “But I’m blessed with good genes.”
Indeed, genes have had a huge influence on the singer’s beauty basics. She cited both her mother, Cynthia Germanotta and Princess Diana (less related, I suppose), as her beauty influences, saying it was her mother who taught her to wash her face with Ivory soap. Obviously, Mrs. Germanotta needs to follow-up with her daughter about this face-washing business.
Her current platinum-blonde locks also require an unusual “chemical haircut,” as the heavy stress of dying, bleaching and styling has her “blonde hair falling out.”
In terms of normal routines? The songstress named applying sunblock and brushing her teeth before bed as mandatory beauty rules.
“I don’t like to tan my face,” said the singer, who once appeared a burnt shade of orange on the cover of V Magazine. “It’s bad for wrinkles.”
Gaga, whose recent beauty routine has come to include attaching prosthetic horns and cheekbones to her face, also said that being yourself is the best beauty advice she could offer.
“Just go with your gut,” she said. “Whenever you try to be someone else, it’s boring.”
I’m not sure how to feel about this advice, as it comes from a singer who has already undergone more transformations in her four years in the mainstream music industry than Madonna has in her entire career. Unless Stefani Germanotta is in a constant state of dissociative identity disorder, I’m not sure that adopting the name ‘Lady Gaga,’ and attaching horns to your head is a great representation of ‘being yourself.’
Or maybe, she really is just a fame ‘monster.’
In case you haven’t seen it, Katy Perry’s husband Russell Brand Tweeted a pic of the pop star on New Year’s Day. Unfortunately the picture was not the most glamours photo of Katy, showing her laying in bed without any makeup (sound like a familiar song?).
Perry didn’t look very happy in the picture as you can see, and it was removed later in the day after 1.7 million people viewed it.
Posting unflattering pictures has become sort of a ritual for the young couple. Let’s not forget Perry dubbed him a “bridezilla” and showed off a picture of him wearing a wedding dress.
Brand was afraid to retaliate saying, “I’m trying to think of a way to get revenge. There are photos of her on my phone that could go nuclear. I’m so tempted but I feel I’m going to need my testicles for the future.”
We didn’t know what to expect when we met Diamond Rings. Here’s a solo act, dressed in spandex and makeup, singing some pretty awesome tunes. Anyways what we learned was Diamond Rings is an extremely talented artist with an interesting approach to music. And he also gave Jordan some makeup tips.
Well there is no doubt now that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are back together. The young couple were caught smooching at Heidi’s 24th birthday party in Santa Barbara.
TMZ reports that the couple were very visibly kissing and holding hands. Heidi also proudly showed off her wedding ring.
Can’t these two morons just go away already?
Jessica Simpson went makeup-less and photoshop-less for a recent cover shoot of Marie-Claire magazine.
This move by Simpson aligns with her natural beauty mantra. It also fits well for her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty.” Quite frankly we don’t think she looks bad – she looks like a real person.
Jessica suffered through a weight controversy last year which changed her view on her appearance. “I don’t have anything to prove anymore,” she told the mag. “What other people think of me is not my business.”
