After announcing last week that she was pregnant, January Jones’ ex Jason Sudeikis is left speechless about the news.

Even though the Saturday Night Live star can flawlessly recite a whole new set of dialogue each week, he was tongue tied when asked about his ex’s pregnancy and declined to say much at all when it came to talking about Jones, whom he broke up with in January.

“I’d rather — yes but no,” he said to the Washington Post when their interview shifted from his career to Jones’ unborn baby.

And when the actor was asked if he was surprised to hear about the pregnancy, his response was even more non-responsive.

“No, I–…No, I didn’t have anything [else to say].”

Awkward…..

But it seems like he knows just as much as we do.

Jones, who stars as Betty Draper on AMC’s Mad Men, has said that she will be a single mother and has not announced the identity of the father of the child.

Well, in that case, Sudeikis can breathe a sigh of relief…for now at least?

Finally fans of one of the greatest, most original shows on television, Mad Men, have an answer as to whether Don Draper will be back sipping scotch and neglecting second-hand smoke precautions. And the answer is YES.

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner has reportedly accepted a $30 million offer to continue with the cult hit for another 3 seasons, and had the following to say:

“These will be the last 3 seasons of the period drama. I’m going to take it one year at a time without the distraction to ever have to go through this again. I’m incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and overwhelmed that I get to finish telling the stories I want to tell.”

It sounds like Weiner must have an idea of where he wants the story arc of the show to go, especially if he knows it will conclude in 3 seasons. If Don Draper dies however, something tells me it won’t be from esophageal cancer.

Ahh the challenges of being beautiful. In a recent interview, Christina Hendricks says she attracts the same amount of women as she does men.

“Women hit on me. My husband thinks it’s so odd that so many women hit on me,” the ravishing Mad Men redhead tells Harper’s Bazaar in its November issue, on newsstands Oct. 26.

And its all gay men as well. “They say to me, ‘Well, I’m not straight, but if I was …’ ” Hendricks says. “I think it’s so flattering.”

After watching the Lakers lose Thursday night, Mad Man star, January Jones, got into a car accident while driving home, reports TMZ.

The LAPD tells TMZ that Jones had been watching the game at a hotel and on her way back home several paparazzi began trailing her and she ended up driving her car straight into three other parked vehicles.

Jones then allegedly left the scene, leaving her license behind and walking to her house nearby to call the police.  She was told that the police had arrived, and so she went back to the location of the accident.  Jones says that the reason she fled was because the paparazzi were harassing her.

No arrest was made and no drugs or alcohol were suspected to have been involved.  Also, the police have said that this will not be treated as a hit-and-run investigation.

The Hurt Locker beat out ten other nominees for the top prize at the Producers Guild of America awards gala Sunday, reports CBC.

Mad Men won best television drama, 30 Rock was saluted as best comedy and The Colbert Report got the award for best live entertainment and competition show. 60 Minutes was recognized in the non-fiction television category.

The awards were held at the Hollywood Palladium and honoured television writer Joss Whedon and studio heads Michael Lynton, Amy Pascal and John Lasseter with lifetime achievement awards.

This year, like the Oscars, the PGA Awards expanded the nominees for best film to ten finalists in an attempt to be more inclusive.

Mad Menstar Christina Hendricks married her boyfriend actor Geoffrey Arend Sunday at Il Buco restaurant in New York City, reports E! News. The couple was introduced by Hendrick’s Mad Menco-star Vincent Kartheiser and became engaged in December 2008.

Hendricks, 34, said Arend, 31, wanted to keep the ceremony small. “We really waned it to be filled with our absolute best friends and our family,” she said. “We didn’t want to spread ourselves too thin and we really wanted it to have a warm environment, so we kept it with the tightest people.”

The bride wore a Carolina Herrera gown she described as “timeless.”

“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm has hopped aboard “Howl,” an upcoming indie feature about the obscenity trial provoked by Allen Ginsberg’s famous poem.

According to Variety, the Golden Globe-winning actor will play Jake Ehrlich, the defence attorney in the trial whose life was also the inspiration for the TV series “Perry Mason.”

As previously reported, James Franco is starring as Ginsberg, while Mary-Louise Parker, David Strathairn, Jeff Daniels, Treat Williams and Alessandro Nivola round out the supporting cast.

The film is currently in production and is expected to open next year.

Hamm, who recently guest-starred on “30 Rock,” will appear later this year opposite Josh Lucas in the thriller “The Boy in the Box.” Meanwhile, “Mad Men” fans can look forward to the premiere of the series’ third season this summer.

CTV has picked up the critically-acclaimed series “Mad Men,” about a group of ad executives working in 1960s-era New York amid changing social attitudes.

The private Canadian broadcaster announced it has bought the first and yet-to-be-produced second seasons of the show, which was recently nominated for two Golden Globes ? best dramatic series and best actor in a TV drama for Jon Hamm.

In addition to Hamm, the show stars Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones and Christina Hendricks.

“Mad Men” originally aired on American cable network AMC, debuting in July 2007.

It was created by Matthew Weiner, a writer and producer on “The Sopranos.”

The show has found its way onto dozens of “Best of” TV critics’ lists this year, including Entertainment Weekly, The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail.

CTV says the show will be a mid-season replacement. The move is part of the network’s plan to add more original shows to its lineup in light of the ongoing Hollywood writers’ strike, which has resulted in a lack of U.S. programming to simulcast.
