WTF is the Illuminati and how is Mac Miller connected to it? He sat down with @Jordans_Life to reveal the little he knows about WORLD CONSPIRACIES. Mac also talked about Drake showing up at his show with his entourage, which is pretty trippy since Mac is a huge fan. It’s always a party at Mac’s concerts. On his way in Jordan spotted tons of hot girls outside and ambulances rolling in and out.

Miley’s Bun
Miley Cyrus retweeted a message from her long lost bun of hair. Although the bun has poor grammar, we respect that it isn’t holding hard feelings against Miley, who recently cut it off in favor of a Twiggy-esque cut. The bun even advised Miley on how to tell off haters. Message: If you’re going to tell people off, it’s always more legitimate if you include Chanel’s logo.
Ed Sheeran
In fact, I don’t actually pay for therapy. Instead, I read Ed Sheeran’s tweets every morning and then repeat them 3o times over in front of the mirror as a daily affirmation.
Miley Cyrus
We’re surprised Miley Cyrus let strangers babysit her dog. Has she not seen the new trailer for Seven Psychopaths?!? YELP.
Mac Miller
Good to see Mac Miller is inspired by an extensive collection of music.
Conor Maynard
That was the day Conor Maynard retired music. After you get a sartorial compliment like this from Wiz Khalifa, you really can’t go up.

“I Will Wait” — Mumford & Sons
If you’re looking for a new song to add to that lay-in-bed-stare-at-the-ceiling-and-dream-about-my-crush playlist, look no further! English folk rockers Mumford & Sons’ new single “I Will Wait” is a bluegrass, banjo-y track filled with soft harmonies and earnest vocals that will cut straight to your heart. Ah, if only my (nonexistent) boyfriend would write music like this and sing it to me…and maybe bring me flowers every night, new jewelry once in a while, and look like Ryan Gosling. Pick up Mumford & Sons’ second album Babel on Sept. 24.
“Glow” — Mac Miller ft. Pharell
Mac Miller and Pharell Williams get glossy in their new track “Glow,” off the two artists’ upcoming EP Pink Slime. The duo released “Onaroll” back in June, and it would appear that Mac Millions and Skateboard P are a collaborative force to be reckoned with. Backed by ethnic-inspired violins, and a hyper beat, the boys lay down their rhymes, sounding confident and smooth. Sidenote: Mac Miller manages to yell “Mother f**ker” for ten seconds straight. If that’s not talent, I don’t know what is.

Question: Do professional athletes or rappers party harder? According to rapper Mac Miller, athletes go pretty hard. He told @Jordans_Life that back when he was starting his career, he went to a birthday party for NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire. Think tequila, wild girls, Steve Nash and Jason Richardson doing the Hulk. Mac also talked about loving Canada — if not only because of our lax attitude at the border.

It’s a relief that rapper and lyric scholar Mac Miller was on Twitter at the precise moment Maroon 5′s Adam Levine became confused over Carly Rae Jepsen’s underplayed song “Call Me Maybe.” Considering it’s been on the radio for months now it’s baffling he doesn’t understand the incredibly simple and non-rhetorical question she puts forth in the chorus.
Then again, it’s better to ask late than be confused for the rest of your life. Because then one day 40 years from now you’ll ask your grandson what it means and he’ll be all like: ”you went 40 years without knowing why she asks you to call her MAYBE?”
Miller responded to Levine’s scattered question (it was accompanied by a compliment about Carly’s given name) with a simple explanation to ensure Adam would understand. So summed up, this is pretty much the most unexpected and best Twitter conversation in history. Well, besides Drake getting one-upped by gazillionaire T. Boone Pickens.
And yes, we do understand this was all in good fun — but dissecting Twit Lit like it’s Brit Lit is a favourite pastime.
Mac Miller dropped his trippy new video “America” just in time for July 4. Mac raps from a red lit room with the U.S. flag draped across his shoulders: ”Got my middle finger up with a cup and a dutch split/Hand on my nuts when I’m wilin’ out in public/Welcome to America, motherf*cker, welcome to America”
Meanwhile, his crew appropriately throws up their middle fingers behind him while crazy animated doodles create a whole new commentary. The song also features Casey Veggies and Joey Bada$$ who appear in the Mike Waxx and Mike Carson-directed video as well.

Good thing the guys weren’t at the bar the same night as Chris Brown and Drake—who knows what kind of shenanigans would of went down. While looking for someone up and coming to feature on their track “Middle Finger,” who better to ask than Mac Miller. Alex also proves he’s a total badass by throwing a drink at someone’s face in Vegas. I’m just glad it wasn’t me!

For any of you naysayers who don’t think Justin Bieber has any street cred, you’ll have 2 Chainz to contend with… and Mac Miller… and another one of Scooter Braun’s clients, Asher Roth. We’ll consider them his backup.
Some critics weren’t impressed with JB’s rapping skills but this version of his latest single “Boyfriend” wipes the track clear of those verses. In said version, the rappers talk about their love life in high school and Roth even touches on Jelena (a.k.a. Selena + Justin): “We could be like Selena and Biebs/ Wild and free, a couple disobedient teens/ Sneaking out to meet around like 2 o clock in the eve/ Paparazzi in the bar and we just hot in the beach.”
Apparently it’s THE song for artists to remix. We already heard The Ying Yang Twins put their special touch on the track after it drew comparisons to “Wait.”
Luckily the three rappers don’t touch JB’s smooth verses, but this way it’s a little more hardcore. Bieber tweeted: “WHAT?!??! my bro @asherroth just sent me a verse for the ?#BFREMIX? !! crazy! adding him to it! so dope. @2chainz @macmiller @asherroth ?#REMIX.” Hawt!”

Yes, there is such a show called Hip Hop Squares and it premiered last night on MTV2. It’s like Hollywood Squares but instead of minor TV stars it features rap legends.
Last night’s panel included Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Kat Graham, Donnell Rawlings, Tech N9ne, Ghostface Killah, Childish Gambino, Mac Miller, and MGK. Ummm, yea, that’s all. Just everyone.
Childish Gambino was the standout of the night, correctly answering a dirty question about the Olympics. He quickly identified the “snatch” and the “clean and jerk” as weight-lifting moves (get your mind out of the gutter).
If I was a contestant on the show I’d definitely pick Donald Glover, considering he’s a comedian, actor and pop culture nerd on top of being Childish Gambino. Who’d you choose?

In Mac Miller’s new video for “Thoughts From A Balcony” he’s really doing just that, thinking while taking in stunning views on a balcony. This isn’t complicated people, but it is a nice change of pace.
The rapper wears sunglasses and a dark hoodie with a peace sign on the back and changes positions from sitting to standing, all the while deep in introspective thought. The video, which was directed by Mac Miller and Justin Boyd, is the second visual from Macadelic.

Mac Miller wins Woodie of the Year

Mac Miller got major props at the mtvU Woodie Awards on Thursday night, taking home the coveted Woodie of the Year. The rapper said: ”I’ve worked so hard every day for the last five years and winning tonight means people recognize what I’m doing.” The award show airs on Sunday night on MTV. [Buzzworthy]
Rihanna got another tattoo

Much like when Lindsay Lohan died her hair red, Rihanna broke “world news” when she got a tiny tattoo across her neck. The Caribbean singer’s new tattoo is by her favourite artist BangBang, who also worked on the controversial gun tattoo across her ribcage. He also did the “shhh” tattoo Rihanna has on her finger, the Roman numerals on her neck and the small stars on her back. It’s her 15th tattoo so we don’t know what will come next… but we propose a birthday cake.
Selena and Justin go to the hospital

Selena Gomez and her boyfriend Justin Bieber were spotted leaving an L.A. medical centre yesterday with a bandage around Gomez’s arm. She was probably just getting blood drawn but it was only last June that she fell ill of dehydration backstage at The Tonight Show.

Mac Miller’s new soulful remix “Of The Soul” features veterans Posdnous and Raekwon. The track is from his debut album Blue Slide Park and starts off with Raekwon rapping: “smoke mad kush, always in fresh pairs, favorite kicks are dunks and fresh airs, cooling under the trees with trees, You know the kid, 4, 5, 6, dice rollers push a b*tch on her knees.”
The track is mellow and smooth and also a throwback to classic tracks. It’s a nice blend of old and new though I miss some of his more upbeat tunes. What do you think of it?

Mac Miller has defined “cool” in his new song, featuring Diggy Simmons. And apparently the definition of cool is Mac Miller himself. He presents the evidence in the lyrics: “Hey ayo, my first name Mac, my last name Miller, On beats I’m a monster, I’m iller than Godzilla, Yeah my skin Vanilla, I’m hotter than Chinchillas.”
Miller also tells us he drinks tiger blood, which happens to be Charlie Sheen’s drink of choice too. Concerning?
The “Definition Of Cool” is taken from his upcoming mixtape Macadelic.
Definition of Cool:
Miller also recently released his song “Loud” from the same album. The Beatles “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” shout-out at the beginning is such a tease though! I was hoping to hear more of it the whole way through. What do you think of the new tracks?
Loud:
It’s not a huge surprise to hear that Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are making it official and getting hitched. The 24-year-old Grammy nominated rapper and model have been dating for a little over a year and have talked about marriage in the past.
The newly engaged couple broke the news on Twitter with a picture of her bling ring. Rose tweeted “He has made me the Happiest Woman in the world!!!!!”
Wiz Khalifa also tweeted: “She said Yes!!”
Then the duo received tons of congratulatory responses, including one from fellow rapper Mac Miller, who can already foresee wild wedding pastries.

Pharrell Williams likes to keep a low profile when he’s busy at work but since the new years started he hasn’t been shy to share who he’s spending time with.
He invited Billboard into his studio, where we saw him recording with the biggest names around: Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Ne-Yo and Wiz Khalifa.
He also invited the young Mac Miller in his studio last month to work on a few tracks.

Pharrell’s not only busy with music, he’s also working on a travel book. Billboard says he’s set release ”Places & Spaces I’ve Been” real soon.
It was Mac Miller’s birthday yesterday and he turned 20 years old. So how did he spend his special day? Well he posted a tweet that summarized at least the highlight of it.
Mac tweeted, “just had crazy sex. maid outfit, handcuffs, etc. now i’m putting bailey’s in a cup of coffee, ordering room service, and enjoying my b day.”
Happy birthday Mac!
Who doesn’t love giving the occasional middle finger? Admit it, sometimes it is very satisfying to just to point that finger up at somebody. Now, Cobra Starship and Mac Miller have a video that pays homage to everyone’s favorite hand gesture.
Mac starts the song off by saying, ”Got my middle finger up and it’s pointed to the ground/Rollin’ in with my whole entourage, too many of us to count.”
The whole video is a collection of people giving the Cobra Starship crew the finger.
What do you think of the video?
Mac Miller has turned things upside down with his latest video for “Of The Soul” off his album “Blue Slide Park.” This somewhat artsy, triangular take on the standard hiphop video format is a nice way to let the song speak for itself. This video still has the usual dancing girls and wardrobe changes but Mac really makes it his own.
It’s a nice change from the house parties and red cups we’ve seen in some of his earlier videos. Mac also rocks a fairly impressive beard that reveals he’s actually an undercover GINGER. Does anyone see the irony here yet? It’s not really fair to say he’s a full-blown redhead but even a half-ginger making a video about soul is hilarious.
Watch the video below, overall I give it 8.5 inverted triangles out of 10.
Mac Miller was recently listed on Forbes “30 Under 30: The Youngest Stars in the Music Business.” Miller explained how he was able to achieve so much success and what it’s like being on the list.
“Making history is super-cool. I still don’t think I necessarily ‘made it’ — my whole thing is always, no matter where I get, to never be satisfied,” Miller told Forbes.
And how did he promote himself, considering he was signed to a small label.
“I flood the internet with what I feel is quality content. I’m just looking for creative ways to get all that content out there. And just being reachable. Not necessarily sitting there and responding every tweet or every fan, but being a symbol of someone who doesn’t think that [he’s] anymore more special than anyone else,” Miller explained.
Speaking of quality content, here’s our interview with Mac which we did earlier in 2011.
