If teachers who wear scruffy tweed coats and speak in affected English accents aren’t for you, perhaps this dude who solves basic derivative problems in the series “Math From the Hood” is.
As the eloquent YouTube description says: “Dis yo boy comin back atchu wit anotha lesson in CALCULUS. Tryna start a revolution out this B***H!” And we really think he’s on to something. In fact, we’re pretty sure he should open a private school and teach math, while rapper Mac Lethal takes over the English department with his smooth grammar-themed raps.
Considering how tricky calculus is (I know, that’s why I became a writer) this dude seems like he’d really make it understandable.
Today is filled with lessons. Kids learn all about Skrillex, Mac Lethal teaches us about the difference between your and you’re and Brittany learns how to properly pronounce dougie (she says it with an Australian accent).

If you’re in the seventh grade or older, you should know the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re.’ If you don’t, this nerdy white rapper Mac Lethal is here to tell you how stupid you are and explain the difference so you won’t fail your English exam.
He spews out the rap at a dizzying pace and we’re beyond impressed with his witty and educational lyrics in “You’re vs. Your.” He raps: “But if you’re older than 13-years old you better see these words / And know exactly what the difference is / This one is a contraction, like you / Apostrophe, are, ready for action / You’re at risk when the gem star slash your skin / You’re an idiot like Kim Kardashian / This one’s you. Possessive. Yours / Your beer, your gun, your mom’s a whore.”
If teachers want to know how to keep their students interested in class, maybe they should try out some Mac Lethal rap. He knows what’s happening.

Apparently rapping about cooking pancakes isn’t Mac Lethal’s only talent. If you remember our post about Texts From Bennett earlier today, the pancake rapper himself is claiming he is the man behind those funny texts.
On his Twitter page, the Kansas City rapper has been urging people to check out the tumblr page and retweeting posts about Texts From Bennett. Mac also blatently dropped a hint that he is the mysterious cousin, referring to his rap video and something else:
“Is it weird that two completely different things of mine made it to the #1 spot on the front page ofhttp://Reddit.com today?”
The most obvious evidence clue, however, came when he scrutinized comedian Keven Hart for allegedly taking credit for his creation saying:
“@kevinhart4real Dude, why would you blatantly jack somebody’s blog and act like it belongs to you?”
Kevin Hart has yet to respond to Mac’s copyright accusations but Mac deleted the post not long after. When this story develops we’ll definitely give you the 411.
In just a day Mac Lethal has become a full fledged internet meme. He’s garnered over a million views with his ridiculously speedy rap over the Chris Brown track “Look At Me Now.” If his claims about the tumblr account are true, he may be even more talented than we originally thought.
