“Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up)” – Dillon Francis
Dillon Francis’ latest single mashes house music and reggaeton into an absolute club banger. Seriously people, this is the stuff you want to get down to on the dance floor. The video for the track is just as crazy as the song, with Francis’ giant bobblehead superimposed with lazers and a detachable mouth. It’s a little creepy but bobblehead Francis is having so much fun you’ll just want to party next to him.
“5AM in Toronto” – Drake
Drake performs an ode to his hometown, Toronto, in his latest track. The production is nice and low key, letting Drake’s smart rhymes shine through. It appears as though Drake snapped and finally wanted to address his haters as he talks about his rise to stardom, his talent, and calls out those against him.
If you didn’t get a chance to party at the 2012 Tomorrowland Festival this past July in Belgium, here’s your chance to pretend you were one of the 180,000 visitors there. The festival featured more than 400 artists, including Steve Aoki, M83 and Skrillex.
Based on the newly released Tomorrowland 2012 Official Aftermovie it was a sensory explosion. We can only imagine that if you weren’t already consumed by the music, then the bubbles, fireworks, substances, confetti and dancing would be enough to make your head EXPLODE.
Things that would make out head explode in a good way:

We all know Bill Clinton is a stud but did you know he also has mad saxophone skills? Here he is playing M83′s “Midnight City” back in the day, while rocking the sunglasses-indoors trend… Bill Clinton, more like Ill Clinton. Ha!
The audio was edited over this vintage clip of Clinton and uploaded to YouTube.

The kids we saw with superpowers in M83′s “Midnight City” are back for another round in the music video for “Reunion.” Directors Fleur & Manu revisit the video in a sequel of sorts, to further explore their powers as they escape from an institution.
It’s basically a short creepy sci-fi movie. Plus we love the spectacular and romantic cinematography..

“Reunion (Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. remix)” — M83
From Detroit indie-pop duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. comes this remix of M83’s “Reunion,” off their recent album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. The remix is a great, toned down version of M83’s heavily 80s-inspired track. Dale Earndhart Jr. Jr. keeps the essence of the track with M83’s signature atmospheric vocals, but adds their own twist with some synth, and a driving beat. Reunion will be officially released later this month and serious fans who buy the disc will be treated to six remixes of the single, including this Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. version.

Reasons why I love Katy Perry: she has wicked blue hair, she’d go to Starbucks in a bedazzled, feathered costume, and she loves M83 and Gotye.
During her photoshoot with Teen Vogue, she revealed she’s a bit of a control freak and very hands on when she chooses her wardrobe. ”I’m involved with everything I do to an annoying point,” she said.
She also talked about the attention she’d get when she first started singing as a young child. “I felt like I had a magic trick cause everybody’s attention would be everywhere else and then when I’d start singing they’d be like aw! So it was like the only thing that I could pull out of my hat.”

Hot off the release of his third studio album, “Lasers”, Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco is back with a new mixtape titled “Friends of the People.”
Lupe had a much earlier release date in mind for the mixtape but things had to be put on hold so he could climb Mount Kilimanjaro with famous faces like Jessica Biel and Kenna.
Hopefully, with this mixtape, Lupe can continue climbing up the charts. The 12-track album included “The End of the World” which samples M83′s track “Midnight City”, a song heard in every Urban Outfitters around the world. What is msot intruiging about the upcoming release are the cheeky song titles. There’s one titled after acclaimed actor Joaquin Pheonix and another one named after his favourite item on the McDonalds menu. Let’s not forget track six, which looks like something a high-school stoner titled, ”WWJD He’d probably LOL Like WTF!!!”
Prefix has all the deets on how you can download Lupe’s techno-infused mixtape.
