Lyriq Bent returns as Swat Team Commander Rigg in Saw IV, due out in theatres in October. This time, it’s his turn to test his luck and fight for his life in the deadly game manufactured by Jigsaw.

andPOP caught up with Lyriq Bent on the set of “Guns,” which he was shooting in Toronto and which will air next year.

Lyriq Bent – the perfect name for a rapper. But the Canadian actor is far from a rapper as andPOP found out on the red carpet at the MuchMusic Video Awards in June when we asked him for a few rhymes.

A rapper he is not, but Lyriq is certainly one of Canada’s rising actors, having appeared in the Saw franchise, Four Brothers with Mark Wahlberg and Andre 3000, Honey with Jessica Alba and several more.

His most recent role is playing Leo, the FBI agent in “Angela’s Eyes.”
