“LOST” had one of the biggest following when it ran on ABC for six season. It was dark, mysterious, suspenseful and edgy. Everyone loved talking about the show as much as they actually liked watching the show.

Would “LOST” still be a smash hit if it were edited into a ’90s sitcom? Thanks to The Huffington Post, we can now see the more family oriented side of the show if it looked more like “Full House”. The edited version even used the same theme song as the ’90s show. The results are quite hysterical.

Good news “Lost” fans! Although many of you are having problems dealing with the finale of the series on May 23, there are some big plans in the works to say goodbye.

Executive Producer Carlton Cuse sent a tweet last week that ”Lost Live: The Final Celebration,” will take place at UCLA’s Royce Hall on May 13.

Variety reports that ABC hasn’t officially announced any plans for the event, but according to Cuse, the event will feature a live orchestra — conducted by Oscar winner Michael Giacchino (who serves as “Lost’s” composer) — performing music from the show.

Additionally during final broadcast on the 23rd, ABC will be dedicating five hours of programming to the show. The night will include a two hour retrospective, the two-hour episode, and then a special all “Lost” episode of Jimmy Kimmelat midnight.

Well that settles that.The body of James Brown, which was earlier reported as being lost, has been found…but that is mostly because it never went missing.

According to funeral director C.A Reid, the soul legend’s body is still resting in peace in South Carolina, NME.com reports.

Brown’s daughter LaRhonda Pettit claimed that her father’s body had been moved from his grave.

“There’s no truth to that,” C.A Reid, who directed the memorial service for Brown, said to the Augusta Chronicle. “It would have had to have gone through us. We would have been contacted if that happened.”

Pettit considered Brown’s death suspicious because she claims she was denied the opportunity to carry out an autopsy and determine her father’s cause of death.

“This would be a criminal offense,” Reid said to the Augusta Chronicle of Pettit’s claim that Brown’s body was moved. “If this was the case, she would need to talk to police.”

Brown died in 2006 of heart problems.

Lost star Henry Ian Cusick is being sued by a former ABC employee who alleges sexual battery and harassment against the actor.

According to the suit filed yesterday in Los Angeles court and posted in its entirety at E! Online, Cusick, who plays Desmond Hume on the show, allegedly squeezed and placed his face on the plaintiff’s breasts, kissed her on the mouth, and caressed the back of her body while making moaning sounds. The plaintiff claims the incident occurred on the set of the hit series on or about October 16, 2007, and that she was she was fired 12 days later, in retaliation for reporting Cusick’s behavior. She is seeking unspecified damages in the suit, which also names ABC Entertainment Inc., and Grass Skirt Productions as defendants.

The plaintiff had been employed by ABC since 1997, according to the suit, and had reported her allegations to the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing prior to suing.

ABC spokespersons, the plaintiff’s attorney, and employees of Grass Skirt Productions were unable to be reached as of early Saturday afternoon.

Fans of “Ugly Betty” can breathe a sign of relief.

Despite speculation that it was on the bubble, the comedy about the affable Plain Jane was one of 12 series given early renewals by ABC on Thursday for next fall’s lineup.

Some of the shows being brought back were no surprise due to strong ratings, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Brothers & Sisters” and “Dancing with the Stars.” Also returning is “Lost,” another expected move given the network’s agreement with the show’s creators to end the drama after six seasons.

Rounding out the renewals were “America’s Funniest Home Videos” – back for a 20th season – “The Bachelor,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” “Private Practice,” “Supernanny” and “Wife Swap.”

Other shows, including “Samantha Who?” and all of ABC’s midseason series, must wait until next month to find out if they will return.

Lost’s Josh Holloway and wife Yessica welcomed a daughter on April 9 in Oahu, PEOPLE reported. They named their daughter Java Kumala Holloway. 

PEOPLE reports that a source told them that “Dad and Mom are absolutely thrilled,” and that “Everyone’s happy and healthy.” The couple has been married since 2004 and this is their first child.

Holloway’s co-star Daniel Dae Kim said “When you talk to him about his baby, his face completely lights up.” Kim believes he will be a fantastic father.

A caped crusader and a mysterious island lead the pack of nominees for the 2009 Saturn Awards.

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror announced on Tuesdays its nominations for the annual awards, which recognize the year’s best in genre film making.

“The Dark Knight” received 11 nods to top the movie categories, including best film actor for Christian Bale and best action/adventure/thriller film. The Christopher Nolan-directed pic will compete in the latter category with “Changeling,” “Gran Torino,” “Quantum of Solace,” “Traitor” and “Valkyrie.”

Also scoring big were “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Iron Man” with nine and eight nominations, respectively.

The TV categories were ruled by “Lost,” which also received 11 nominations. These included best network television series and best actor and actress in television for Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly, respectively.

“Heroes” followed with six nominations, while “Battlestar Galactica” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” received four nods each.

Harold Perrineau is coming off a mysterious island and moving into “The Killing Jar.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Perrineau, who played Michael Dawson over four seasons of “Lost,” has joined the cast of the upcoming indie thriller and will also executive produce.

The Morningstar Films project, which also stars Michael Madsen and Danny Trejo, revolves around a shotgun-wielding stranger who takes seven patrons hostage at a remote roadside diner. As the situation heats ups, the main players realize that one of the hostages may actually be more dangerous than their captor.

Perrineau will play one of the hostages, a travelling salesman named John.

Indie filmmaker Mark Young, who previously worked on the horror films “Tooth and Nail” and “Southern Gothic,” wrote the script and will direct.

Filming began this past weekend in North Carolina.

Perrineau, whose TV credits also include “Oz” and the upcoming ABC drama “The Unusuals,” has appeared in such movies as “28 Weeks Later,” the two “Matrix” sequels and “Romeo + Juliet.”

Matthew Fox might be getting a little animated.

According to Variety, Fox is in talks to take the lead in the adaptation of the comic book “Billy Smoke.” He would play a hit man who seeks revenge after a botched job, and decides to rid the world of all assassins.

Though Fox’s small screen leading man status is red hot, as Lost’s Jack Shepard, he has failed to impress at the box office. His recent film credits include “Speed Racer” and “Vantage Point.”

According to MSN.com, Canadian actress Evangeline Lilly will reportedly marry her long time beau Dominic Monaghan.

The couple broke up earlier this year but are back together.

Monaghan reportedly proposed while the pair were on vacation together.

The couple met on the set of the hit show “Lost”.

Before the hit series, Monaghan starred in the Oscar award winning “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

A source close to the couple says that the ceremony will be held in Hawaii as a tribute to
“Lost”, where they first met.

Matthew Fox moved his family to the Pacific Island in order to film the hit TV show “Lost,” but now the actor is eager to move almost 3,000 miles to Oregon once the series finishes.

“I’ve been living in Hawaii for almost four years now, so it’s not really paradise any more, man. Throwing snowballs on a mountain is now paradise,” said Fox.

“We’re moving to Oregon. I want to be closer to my brothers and their children. We really want our kids to have tight first-cousin relationships. I want to enjoy fishing, hiking, skiing, mountains and fresh air.”

Although Fox does admit that living in Hawaii does have his perks and benefits.

“Hawaii has also been beneficial in that I really don’t like the whole paparazzi thing in my daily life. There are not a lot of paparazzi who want to do the 2,500-mile trek into the south Pacific for a shot of me walking on the beach.”

Fox has two children with his Italian wife Margherita Ronchi.

Is the man behind good guy doctor Jack Shephard really a bad boy?

“Lost” star Matthew Fox opened up about his history of misbehaving recently to Empire Magazine. “I break the law all the time!” he told the mag. “I’ve done plenty of illegal narcotics, but I think everyone knowingly breaks the law pretty often, don’t they? I can’t imagine living my life abiding by the law completely. That’d be tough to do.”

Fox says his wife shares in his habit of taking drugs. “My wife and I travelled to Jamaica 15 years ago. Oh God, it was a crazy trip! We stayed in this little bungalow out on the water, baked out of our minds for the first three days. We were just so stoned! And then we got sick and proceeded to continue to get stoned because that makes you feel better.”

Fox, 41, has two children.

Television addicts rejoice: “Lost” is back!

Notoriously secretive, producers producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof would only spill a single line of dialogue to Entertainment Weekly.com: ”I’m thinking of growing a beard.” But who will speak this crucial line? Oh, the suspense!

For the answer to that burning question – along with other little ones like, say, will the Losties be rescued or do they face certain death? – be sure to check tune in to CTV at 8 p.m. ET.

With most shows on hiatus until the Writer’s Guild of America strike is resolved, the intense series can probably expect huge ratings for tonight’s 2-hour season premiere event.

Hit castaway show LOST will end after three more seasons, fatigued executive producers have confirmed.

In January DAMON LINDELOF and CARLTON CUSE revealed they envisioned the endpoint for Lost around episode 100. However, a new agreement with ABC will bring the total number of episodes to 120.

Despite the increase, both Lindelof and Cuse admit setting a three season deadline is “incredibly liberating.”

Lindelof says, “(It’s) like we’ve been running a marathon and we actually know where the finish line is for the first time.”

Cuse adds, “(We’ve had) a road map for the series with all the major mythological milestones and the ending in place for a while. What we didn’t know was how long we had to play the story out.

“By defining the endpoint we can now really map out the rest of the series in confidence. We sort of view Lost as a mosaic. Now there are only 48 more tiles that go into that mosaic, and we’re figuring out, along with all the other writers, exactly where they all go.”

Lindelof wrote the pilot for Lost with fellow executive producer J.J. Abrams, and Cuse joined the series in October 2004.

LOST star EVANGELINE LILLY once worked as a car mechanic and knows more about vehicles than her boyfriend DOMINIC MONAGHAN.

The 27-year-old has been dating Lost co-star Monaghan for two years, and isn’t afraid to show off her automobile prowess.

She says, “I seem to date men who always know less about cars than I do. If I have a flat tire with my boyfriend, I’m always the one to change it.

“There was a record for the most oil changes in one day. Within my first two months I broke it.”

LOST stars NAVEEN ANDREWS and DOMINIC MONAGHAN are bemoaning the lack of screen time they have in the third season of the desert island show.

The British actors earn a reported $78,000 (?40,000) a week playing SAYID JARRAH (Andrews) and CHARLIE PACE (Monaghan), but admit they spend a lot of time sitting around with nothing to do.

Andrews says, “Even though I like getting paid for doing nothing, it is nice occasionally to work.”

Monaghan adds, “As one person works more, work is being taken away from another. You have to make your peace with that.

Executive producer CARLTON CUSE explains, “The actors are frustrated. They’re all really good at what they do and it’s difficult when they don’t get a chance to do it.”

LOST star MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ has hit out at her punishment for drink driving in a bitter rant on her website.

The 28-year-old is furious she still has to wear an ankle-bracelet that takes alcohol readings from her body, 18 months after she was caught driving under the influence in Hawaii – insisting “for someone like me, who loves life too much to f**k it up for a sip of a beverage, this level of control isn’t necessary.”

After describing how she was stopped by police after watching an episode of the show with castmates, Rodriguez claims she offered to serve time in prison as an alternative sentence, saying, “I tried to get them to put me in jail but they had their mind set on this bracelet.”

LOST star DOMINIC MONAGHAN is upset with the executives behind the TV drama – because he fears they’ve upset fans by ruining the concept of the series.

The LORD OF THE RINGS star accepts no one had any idea the show would become a phenomenon, but even he’s growing tired of the plot twists and turns that have turned fans against Lost.

He says, “They (writers) had a beginning and then they had an ending and the studio says, `Can you expand the middle.’ That kinda gets you to a point where it’s not as exciting.

“I’d like them to do four or maybe five great seasons and then we’ll do, like, a couple of movies and it’ll be like a big event.

“Stringing it out and losing the quality is not what we want.”

The producers of hit TV drama LOST have been handed an expensive headache after film canisters featuring master footage was erased by an airport X-ray machine.

The show bosses are still trying to figure out who to blame for the costly mistake, which could leave them having to spend an extra $300,000 to reshoot the scenes on the destroyed film.

According to sources, film of the show accidentally went through an X-ray machine at Honolulu International Airport in Hawaii, where the series is shot – and was wiped.

Lost producers claim security personnel at the airport are to blame because they didn’t take note of warning labels asking them not to put the film canisters through an X-ray machine.

But airport insiders state the film canisters were mistakenly mixed in with passenger luggage, leading to the error.

Actress MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ hit MARC JACOBS’ New York Fashion Week showcase on Monday night with a fashion accessory of her own – a court-imposed ankle bracelet.

The former LOST star tried to hide the metal clamp behind a cloth wrap, but she couldn’t disguise the bracelet she has been forced to wear after driving drunk in Hawaii.

Sporting a Jacobs dress, she told reporters, “It registers your sweat glands for alcohol content.”

Rodriguez poked fun at the bracelet by scribbling ORWELL and 1984 on the clamp – a reference to GEORGE ORWELL’s classic novel 1984, which featured the eerie reminder, “Big Brother is watching you.”
