You find a pair of sunglasses on the ground at a local mall and decide to be a good samaritan by returning them to the Lost & Found. Tons of people passed the sunnies without a second look but you’re an upright, moral citizen and usually selfless. Sadly, no one thanks you.
The National Australia Bank decided to reward those honest people by dropping sunglasses around the mall and rewarding those who returned them. NAB sneakily snapped photos of the do-gooders and created a viral campaign in the mall. Minutes after returning the sunglasses the people who returned the glasses were greeted with billboards and a gourmet cake that had their face on it.
Ironically, banks don’t really seem to be giving high rewards these days but it’s still a nice idea.
