In May of this year, Lindsay Lohan signed on for a sex-episode run on Ugly Betty, her first appearance being last season’s finale on May 22. Lohan played Kimmie, an old schoolmate of America Ferrara’s character, Betty Suarez.

Lohan was set to guest in five more episodes this season. But, the latest news is that Lohan’s appearance in the series has been cut from six episodes to four. Next week’s episode is the last episode that was written, shot and edited for Lohan.

“Inside sources” are claiming that Lohan is more interested in playing herself. Further, the New York Post reported that a bout of misbehaviour – including trashing her dressing room and a pantsing incident – caused her to be dropped from the show. Apparently, this week’s episode involved Lohan’s character pantsing Betty; but, when Ferrera in turn did the same to Lohan, Lohan was…fully revealed, Britney-style. Another bizarre incident was reported in which Lohan obsessively cut out pictures of herself from tabloids

A source from Lohan’s camp says these stories aren’t true.

Other sources are reporting that the cut is the result of a simple girl vs. girl on-set rivalry. Maybe Lohan was jealous that Ferrera’s character could have coloured elastics on her braces…That’s what happens when you pair a Mean Girl with an Ugly Betty.

Is Lindsay Lohan planning to wed girlfriend Samantha Ronson? According to E! News, LiLo was spotted wearing a ring of diamonds on her left ring finger while out on a lunch date with Ronson.

“Sam and Lindsay are unbelievably happy and in a healthy relationship,” a pal of the couple tells E! News. “And like any couple in love, they speak about marriage and the future, but right now, there is no wedding planned.”

According to the source, Lohan likely wore the ring to create “some more buzz.”

The pair was later spotted that night at West Hollywood’s Matsuhisa restaurant to celebrate Ronson’s 31st birthday.

Lindsay Lohan is back in rehab, according to reports.

The Insider has reported that Lohan checked into a treatment center in Utah and she is expected to be there for at least 30 days. Her representatives have not commented.

According to the report, she’ll be treated for drug and alcohol abuse at Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah.

She’ll have to fork over about $30,000 for her rehab treatment.

Lohan spent a month in rehab in Malibu and was released on July 13. 11 days later, she was arrested in Santa Monica for investigation of drunken driving and cocaine possession.

Police reportedly found cocaine on Lohan, but she said it wasn’t hers.

Lohan, 21, faces a possible custodial sentence after she failed a police sobriety test in the early hours of Tuesday (24Jul07).

But Michael Lohan – who has served a number of prison sentences – insists a spell in jail would do his daughter more harm than good.

LINDSAY LOHAN is considering giving up men and marrying her best friend if bizarre MySpace.com correspondence, obtained by the New York Daily News, is to be believed.

The newspaper claims a “friend” sold hidden access to Lohan’s MySpace blog, which included exchanges between Lohan and lesbian DJ Samantha Ronson.

Lohan, who was rumoured to have romanced Ronson in Japan earlier this year, allegedly tells Ronson: “Babe, if I don’t have you in my life then I should just go die… I want to marry you and have children with you.”

And the troubled actress, who is currently in rehab in California, signs off, “I love you – Lindsay Ronson.”

Troubled actress LINDSAY LOHAN was joined by her mother and siblings as she turned 21 in rehab on Monday.

The Mean Girls actress was charged with driving under the influence after smashing her car in Beverly Hills, California in May. She checked into rehab facility Promises shortly afterwards.

To celebrate her landmark birthday, Lohan took a break from her stay at the clinic to host a party at Courteney Cox’s residence in Malibu, California.

She was joined by family and friends, including DJ Samantha Ronson, at the low-key bash.

Lohan called off her original plans for a two-day birthday celebration at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas shortly after checking into rehab.

And Lohan Snr insists the 20-year-old needs to “clean house” if she is serious about leaving her wild partying days behind her.

He says, “This could get her the help she needs. Her lawyers, assistants, publicists, even some of her so-called friends seem to tag along and reap the rewards of Lindsay without any concern about what direction her life is going in.

“Lindsay needs to clean house and start all over again with the people with her in the beginning – her family.”

Troubled actress LINDSAY LOHAN was chasing her friend DJ SAMANTHA RONSON after a heated argument when she crashed her car in Beverly Hills this weekend, according to reports.

The Mean Girls actress lost control of her Mercedes convertible at around 5.30am on Saturday, hitting a curb and trees, and was taken to Century City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) after police found a “usable amount of illegal narcotics,” thought to be cocaine, at the scene of the crash.

Lohan had been out with friends including Paris Hilton and singer James Blunt at club Les Deux prior to the accident.

Reports suggest the 20-year-old was embroiled in a bitter exchange of words with Ronson, the younger sister of producer/DJ Mark Ronson, when she smashed her car into a palm tree.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, “She was trying to talk to Sam – they were screaming, obviously arguing, and Lindsay was heard to shout, ‘You f**king lesbian bitch.’

“Lindsay drove her Merc over to Samantha and told her to get in, but Sam said no.

“There was a bit of a fracas and Samantha eventually got into the car… Lindsay seemed completely wasted – in no condition to be behind the wheel.”

Lohan is due in court to face the DUI charge on August 24.

She says, “Just because I have a nightlife doesn’t mean that I’m, you know, not a good actress.

“Without (the media attention) my career would be different. I think maybe people would have considered me more in the area of Natalie Portman and those girls.

“I don’t really like the party girl image. I’m so afraid that people are going to misconstrue the person that I am just because of one picture of me, you know, not making the nicest face and then they use it to say I was really drunk.”
