In May of this year, Lindsay Lohan signed on for a sex-episode run on Ugly Betty, her first appearance being last season’s finale on May 22. Lohan played Kimmie, an old schoolmate of America Ferrara’s character, Betty Suarez.
Lohan was set to guest in five more episodes this season. But, the latest news is that Lohan’s appearance in the series has been cut from six episodes to four. Next week’s episode is the last episode that was written, shot and edited for Lohan.
“Inside sources” are claiming that Lohan is more interested in playing herself. Further, the New York Post reported that a bout of misbehaviour – including trashing her dressing room and a pantsing incident – caused her to be dropped from the show. Apparently, this week’s episode involved Lohan’s character pantsing Betty; but, when Ferrera in turn did the same to Lohan, Lohan was…fully revealed, Britney-style. A source from Lohan’s camp says these stories aren’t true.
Other sources are reporting that the cut is the result of a simple girl vs. girl on-set rivalry. Maybe Lohan was jealous that Ferrera’s character could have coloured elastics on her braces…That’s what happens when you pair a Mean Girl with an Ugly Betty.
Is Lindsay Lohan planning to wed girlfriend Samantha Ronson? According to E! News, LiLo was spotted wearing a ring of diamonds on her left ring finger while out on a lunch date with Ronson.
“Sam and Lindsay are unbelievably happy and in a healthy relationship,” a pal of the couple tells E! News. “And like any couple in love, they speak about marriage and the future, but right now, there is no wedding planned.”
According to the source, Lohan likely wore the ring to create “some more buzz.”
The pair was later spotted that night at West Hollywood’s Matsuhisa restaurant to celebrate Ronson’s 31st birthday.

Lindsay Lohan is back in rehab, according to reports.
The Insider has reported that Lohan checked into a treatment center in Utah and she is expected to be there for at least 30 days. Her representatives have not commented.
According to the report, she’ll be treated for drug and alcohol abuse at Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah.
She’ll have to fork over about $30,000 for her rehab treatment.
Lohan spent a month in rehab in Malibu and was released on July 13. 11 days later, she was arrested in Santa Monica for investigation of drunken driving and cocaine possession.
Police reportedly found cocaine on Lohan, but she said it wasn’t hers.
LINDSAY LOHAN’s father MICHAEL fears jail will destroy the actress, after she was arrested for drunk driving for the second time in just two months.
Lohan, 21, faces a possible custodial sentence after she failed a police sobriety test in the early hours of Tuesday (24Jul07).
Under California law, repeat DUI offenders are served harsher punishments – and Lohan could be facing jail time.
But Michael Lohan – who has served a number of prison sentences – insists a spell in jail would do his daughter more harm than good.

LINDSAY LOHAN is considering giving up men and marrying her best friend if bizarre MySpace.com correspondence, obtained by the New York Daily News, is to be believed.
The newspaper claims a “friend” sold hidden access to Lohan’s MySpace blog, which included exchanges between Lohan and lesbian DJ Samantha Ronson.
Lohan, who was rumoured to have romanced Ronson in Japan earlier this year, allegedly tells Ronson: “Babe, if I don’t have you in my life then I should just go die… I want to marry you and have children with you.”
And the troubled actress, who is currently in rehab in California, signs off, “I love you – Lindsay Ronson.”

The Mean Girls actress was charged with driving under the influence after smashing her car in Beverly Hills, California in May. She checked into rehab facility Promises shortly afterwards.
To celebrate her landmark birthday, Lohan took a break from her stay at the clinic to host a party at Courteney Cox’s residence in Malibu, California.
She was joined by family and friends, including DJ Samantha Ronson, at the low-key bash.
Lohan called off her original plans for a two-day birthday celebration at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas shortly after checking into rehab.

And Lohan Snr insists the 20-year-old needs to “clean house” if she is serious about leaving her wild partying days behind her.
He says, “This could get her the help she needs. Her lawyers, assistants, publicists, even some of her so-called friends seem to tag along and reap the rewards of Lindsay without any concern about what direction her life is going in.
“Lindsay needs to clean house and start all over again with the people with her in the beginning – her family.”

The Mean Girls actress lost control of her Mercedes convertible at around 5.30am on Saturday, hitting a curb and trees, and was taken to Century City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) after police found a “usable amount of illegal narcotics,” thought to be cocaine, at the scene of the crash.
Lohan had been out with friends including Paris Hilton and singer James Blunt at club Les Deux prior to the accident.
Reports suggest the 20-year-old was embroiled in a bitter exchange of words with Ronson, the younger sister of producer/DJ Mark Ronson, when she smashed her car into a palm tree.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, “She was trying to talk to Sam – they were screaming, obviously arguing, and Lindsay was heard to shout, ‘You f**king lesbian bitch.’
“Lindsay drove her Merc over to Samantha and told her to get in, but Sam said no.
“There was a bit of a fracas and Samantha eventually got into the car… Lindsay seemed completely wasted – in no condition to be behind the wheel.”
Lohan is due in court to face the DUI charge on August 24.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s estranged father is urging the actress to return to rehab and dump the people who are dragging her down.
Michael Lohan, who became an ordained pastor during a recent jail stint, has begged his daughter to take her sobriety seriously after spotting grainy tabloid photographs of the Mean Girls star allegedly snorting cocaine in a Los Angeles hotel toilet.
The 20-year-old star recently spent a stint in rehab after she was publicly criticized for her partying ways, but her father is far from convinced the actress means business.
He tells American magazine In Touch Weekly, “I think that Lindsay needs to find a place where God is paramount in her life. If that place is rehab, so be it.”
Michael, himself a recovering alcoholic, insists his daughter needs to clean up and ditch her so-called friends.
He adds, “The people around her are a negative influence.”

Troubled star LINDSAY LOHAN has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
The Mean Girls actress lost control of her Mercedes convertible at around 5:30a.m. on Saturday, hitting a curb and trees, and was taken to Century City Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
After receiving a 911 call about the incident, Beverly Hills Police placed Lohan under arrest on suspicion of DUI after finding a small amount of a substance, thought to be cocaine, at the scene of the crash.
Lieutenant Mitch McCann of the Beverly Hills Police said it appeared as if Lohan was speeding when she lost control of the vehicle.
He also added the drugs found were “not on (Lohan’s) person,” but declined to reveal where they had been discovered.
Two people travelling in the car with the actress were not injured, and Lohan is not currently being held in custody.

Acting veteran JANE FONDA has no regrets of her on-set chastisement of Georgia Rule co-star LINDSAY LOHAN, insisting the young actress is “a nice girl, but she was late a few times.”
The cast and crew of Georgia Rule were so unhappy with Lohan’s behaviour on the set of the movie, that both Fonda and the film’s producer James G. Robinson, publicly reprimanded the 20-year-old.
Lohan had arrived on set late several times and had called in sick – despite being photographed partying the night before.
Fonda tells the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper, “I think she’s a fantastic actress and I think she’s just brilliant in this movie. She moved me to pieces. Basically, she’s a nice girl, but she was late a few times and I yelled at her.
“One day I had had enough and went to her make-up trailer and said, ‘Come on, Lindsay! Everybody’s waiting for you!’ And I just turned on my heel and walked out.
“Afterwards, they told me she turned to her make-up person and said, ‘Barbarella just yelled at me!’”
Last month, Lohan admitted she had been “a bit irresponsible” while making the movie, but claimed this was because she was experiencing problems with her then-boyfriend Harry Morton.

Hollywood star LINDSAY LOHAN is dreading the day the paparazzi no longer want to take photographs of her, because it will mean people no longer care about her.
The 20-year-old is usually happy to pose for the cameras – but only long as the occasion calls for it.
She tells US magazine Nylon, “I get embarrassed about the paparazzi if I’m in a chic restaurant, or when I was in the AA meetings. I feel really disrespectful because those people are doing that for themselves and it’s no one else’s business.
“But that was the only time it was embarrassing. Other times, I obviously like it… I wouldn’t ever want them to not take my picture… I’d be worried. I’d be like ‘Do people not care for me?’”

Actress LINDSAY LOHAN has pulled out of the chance to team up onscreen with KEIRA KNIGHTLEY in a new Dylan Thomas biopic due to contract issues.
The two stars were expected to appear together in The Best Time of Our Lives, but Lohan has now passed on the project after failing to work out an agreeable contract with producers.
According to American publication Life & Style, Lohan was supposed to start work on the film this weekend.
An insider tells the magazine, “She didn’t back out and they (producers) didn’t pull the deal, but there were changes that weren’t to her liking, and that was that.”
Lohan and Knightley were rumoured to be part of a steamy threesome in the film. Lohan was slated to play poet Thomas’ wife Caitlin MacNamara, while Knightley will star as the poet’s childhood friend.

When quizzed about her love life, the MEAN GIRLS star replied by email from her BlackBerry, “I need a boyfriend… There are three different boys I like, maybe five.”
And she revealed she was making plans to settle down upon leaving the treatment centre, and give up her wild life – after buying two puppy companions.
She tells GQ, “I bought two puppies today. Sober impulse buying of companions who will help me stay home.”
Lohan has since checked out of Wonderland and is now working on a new movie.
