Daniel Radcliffe, who you may have heard of from the Harry Potter franchise, will be live on andPOP Thursday January 26 at 1:40pm EST. The interview will take place from a secret location, but Daniel will be talking about his new movie, The Woman in Black, and taking fan questions via phone , Tweets, and Facebook messages live.

2011 was an awesome year for Foster The People. However, the guys are not sitting around and losing the momentum. They are already planning the next album.

“There’s definitely musical elements that we’ve talked about,” frontman Mark Foster told MTV News. “You know, really leaning on the percussive nature of what our live show has turned into this year, and bringing that more out into the second record — just kind of experimenting, doing some different, weird studio tricks; just having fun with it. But you never really know until you get under the hood, so we’ll see what happens when we start.”

Rebecca Black Gets Gig in Australia

Rebecca Black is proving she can last longer than 15 minutes. The YouTube star has been lured to Australia by a mobile phone company called Telstra.

Black tweeted, “I’m coming to Australia to perform live thanks to Telstra!! This is the best thing since microwaveable popcorn.”

The full details of what Black will be doing in “Down Under” haven’t been released.

This is the second piece of good news for Black, with the possibility of her releasing her debut album next month.

As if we haven’t seen enough Justin Bieber, here is one more opportunity to see the pop sensation. The teen idol will be performing live on ABC’s The View today (Monday March 22nd) and also Tuesday (March 23)!

Expect girls in the audience to collapse in excitement as Bieber performs tracks from his latest album “My World 2.0.” Although we don’t know what he will be singing or performing, expect the music prodigy to perform an awesome show as always!

Tiger Woods Speaks at Press Conference

Tiger Woods finally spoke today at a press conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Thanks to our friends at TMZ for the live stream! Not surprisingly he was very apologetic to his friends, fans, sponsors and of course his family, for his irresponsible actions. Some highlights of his speech include:

- Admitting he had affairs with other women.

- Announcing that he has started to receive treatment for his issues and will continue to do so.

- He will not return to golf for the time being, and is unsure when he will return.

- He never used performance enhancing drugs.

- The paparazzi should leave his family alone.

- His wife Elin never hit him at anytime during their marriage.

- He is very apologetic to his friends, fans, sponsors and family.

- At the end of his speech, he hugged his mother and other close supporters and then left the press room.

Facebook, Twitter, and Zune Marketplace Coming to Xbox Live

That’s right, this coming week your TV will transform into so much more with social networking, music, and movies come alive on your Xbox 360. Facebook, Twitter, and Zune video will launch November 17th, on Xbox Live.

Most exciting is instant-on HD video from Zune to be available to Xbox 360 consoles. “We’re delivering some truly exciting social entertainment experiences to our members,” said Marc Whitten, Xbox Live general manager. “Xbox Live’s differentiator has always been our community, and we’ve already seen a tremendous response to these features in our public preview.”

As well, Xbox Live will be debuting a music games store specifically for games such as Lips, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band.

You’ve probably heard that an Xbox 360 Live update was coming, if you knew when or what it entailed is another story. We’re here to set the record straight by discussing a few of the new updates coming to Xbox Live this August 11th.

Avatar expansions

Your virtual character in the Xbox world will be getting a massive update with plenty to styalize and customize your character. The avatar marketplace will open to allow gamers to purcahse premium outfits and accessories.

New props allow your avatar to character items that bring custom animations to your friends channel page.

New brands such as Adidas, Quiksilver, and Roxy allow you to show off your brand awareness clout.

New styles such as Steampunk and Recessionista allow your characters to have themed outfits.

New awards for your avatar just by playing games such as ‘Splosion Man’.

As well, your favourite games from Halo to Star Wars will have themed avatar costumes and accessories to enjoy.

Netflix is expanding their services on Xbox (sorry, NOT AVAILABLE IN CANADA) with a number of new features due to the overwheleming sucess of movie streaming on consoles (game consoles are the most popular devices for bringing web-based video to the TV). New features such as the ability to update your Nexflix queue from your couch and the choice to watch with friends having your avatars in the front row via Xbox LIVE Movie Parties.

Other new features include the ability to organize your Xbox dashboard as you see fit and search for whatever you need, Xbox Live Marketplace user ratings, and much more! Time for more Xbox for this gamer.

Barrie Charities Banned from Live 8

Local charities in Barrie have been banned from using the upcoming Live 8 concert to collect donations, reports Canadian Press.

Live 8 organizers have reportedly said that letting relief organizations participate in the event would “dilute the focus” of the concert, which is bringing attention to the plight of Africa

“It’s about raising awareness for global poverty,” said Live 8 spokesperson Katherine Holmes. “Bob Geldof said it best: ‘It’s about opening your minds, not your wallets’.”

Geldof is the man responsible for the series of free concerts to be held July 2, which are aimed at pressuring world leaders to provide debt relief for African nations.

The Canadian Live 8 is to be held in Barrie’s Park Place.

Local charities say they are disappointed by the decision.

“It’s a free concert and we had hoped that we could get permission to run a food drive,” said Paula King, the head of the Elizabeth Fry Society. “We figured this would be the ideal time and spot to raise awareness about poverty in Barrie.”

King’s organization, which gives food to the needy and shelter to homeless women, was the one that originally proposed a food drive several weeks ago.

“We had everything in place,” said King. “We had volunteers, we had trucks, we had boxes. All we needed was permission to go.”

Live 8 organizers say they were approached by several charities, all of which were rebuffed.

According to a study by the Ontario government, the number of people using homeless shelters in Barrie rose by 1,235 per cent between 1994 and 1998, the largest increase of any city in the province.
