Not even joking, this is probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. This tiny Namaqua Rain Frog, or Breviceps namaquensis, makes the most adorable little squeals. The frog is found on the sandy shores and dry tropical regions of South Africa.
What kind of Salem witchcraft is this? A black cat and owl were caught chilling together like regular BFFs, bouncing on tree branches, roaming through the grass and chasing after each other. There were a couple close calls when it looked like the cat was going to swat the poor owl’s face off or catch him mid-flight, but it was all in good fun.

I have to say, out of all the pranks I’ve posted on ANDPOP this one would probably scare me the most if it happened to me. Pranksters in Brazil rigged a fake elevator so the lights would cut out and a raggedy, young girl wearing old clothes and carrying a teddy bear would emerge from a small door and start screaming.
As presumed, most of the passengers FREAKED OUT while the “secretary” who led them there stood on the other side of the door and laughed. The prank was posted on Live Leak.

Another win for Britain: Road rage is so much more dignified there. Unfortunately, over here’s it’s not uncommon to give bikers the finger and yell profanities at them — and that’s just the bus drivers. But in Britain, they have a polite conversation about any confrontations while calling each other mates.
In this clip from LiveLeak a biker in London was forced to bang on a car to let the driver know he was there. The driver flipped out got out of the car and politely explained why it upset him. They ended the whole thing with a polite “thanks” and probably a beer.

When this cat is in attack mode, his deadlock stare could burn your eyes like a laser. His owners decided to play a prank on him by disrupting his R&R time with a stuffed raccoon. While one person recorded, the other slowly and quietly inched the raccoon up the sofa to surprise the cat.
This territorial cat made his discomfort clear by hissing and back away from the raccoon but after a while it’s just too much for the poor little guy — especially when the raccoon makes a surprise move. Was this prank pure brilliance or just plain cruel? [LiveLeak]

Things spiralled down for this father who was filming “the apocalypse” in his suburban neighbourhood last night. Everything was going so-so, but all of a sudden a huge gust of wind knocked over a few trees on the street. Like a game of Dominos, one tree hit a car and then another tree fell down.
Best lines go to the Broadway singer who joyfully chants “All thanks to the tree” and the dad who says “there ain’t nothing I can do about that ” when his son points to a fire in the front yard. Seriously though, I hope everyone is okay out there!

I’m usually pretty creeped out by talking or singing animals because they often sound like they’re crying. It’s really no different with this husky, who’s singing along to Gwen Stefani’s “Sweet Escape.” He bellows at the top of his lungs, capturing Stefani’s opening “‘Woo Hoos.” Well — he’s either singing or crying, I can’t really tell. Either way, his range is spectacular.
