While Niall Horan may be the cute and cuddly member of One Direction, he can certainly make the ladies swoon singing solo with just a guitar.
Performing a seemingly-impromptu version of the band’s ballad “Little Things” in an Irish pub, Horan does an amazing job delivering the song on his own.
Now if Horan ever goes solo (and God forbid that he does!), it would be awesome to hear this side of him more. If the cheers from the pub dwellers are any indication of how well Horan did, perhaps he can make a living off singing some hearty ballads!
You can barely hear them sing over the loud screams of fangirls, but One Direction teamed up with Ed Sheeran to perform the very song he wrote for them, “Little Things.” It all went down last night at NYC’s Madison Square Garden. Sheeran surprised fans midway through 1D’s performance by coming on stage, sitting with the guys and sharing a solo with Harry Styles.
The best part of the video is the reaction from surprised fans. Their screams quickly turns demonic as they start confirming the facts with each other: “That’s him! THAT’S HIM! OMG. NOOOO WAY!!!”
They were probably thinking:

And their excitement came out like this:

That’s how we’re feeling right about now too. What do you think of the performance?

We fell in love when we heard the boys of 1D sing their latest single ‘Little Things.’ But it was kind of strange to see them acting more serious than their usual playful and silly selves.
Thankfully for us, there’s a new clip for that. Documenting a behind the scenes look of the boys shooting the video for their latest single ‘Little Things’, we’re treated to play fights, funny faces and even some awkward instrument playing.
Here are some of my favourite moments made into GIFS. Enjoy!
Niall playing the guitar
In this shot, Niall is mysterious and brooding. Totally unlike his usually cheerful and adorable self. He just looks so vulnerable. Let me HUG HIM. (potadodoniall-1d)
Harry on the other hand…
Sorry, Harry. I don’t think ‘Little Things’ is quite like ’I Wanna Rock And Roll All Night.’
Matt Lauer totally called it when he said One Direction was “the biggest concert event that we have ever had here on The Today Show.” Fans waited in line for days beforehand, creating hysteria in Manhattan. The lineup was totally worth it considering the huge announcement they made.
According to Niall, the guys are going to do their first ever MOVIE! He said: “It’s gonna be in 3D, and it’s coming to cinemas near you on the 30th of August, 2013.”
The guys’ TV spot was to promote their sophomore album Take Me Home, which hit shelves today. Harry said they wrote about five songs on the album, so it comes from the heart. Along with “What Makes You Beautiful” they also performed “Live While We’re Young” and of course, “Little Things,” which brought the crowd to tears.

Apart from seeing Britney Spears’ awesome expressions and hearing Emblem3′s heavenly voices echo over the TV there’s a whole NOTHER reason to watch The X-Factor this week called One Direction. The guys are performing “Live While We’re Young” and “Little Things” at the live results show this Thursday from their second album Take Me Home.
It makes sense considering the guys got their start on The X-Factor UK with mentor Simon Cowell. Their performance of the ridiculously sweet ballad “Little Things” (written by Ed Sheeran) will be the world-premiere live TV performance of the song. We heard Niall might be playing the guitar on stage!!
In honour of their performance, the top 12 contestants produced their very own One Direction music video for “Life While We’re Young.” Will you be watching?

One Direction was taunting us everyday with the many countdowns to their new music video “Little Things” and my head was about to explode in anticipation. It’s finally here and #LittleThingsOnVEVO is already trending on Twitter.
The guys were pretty practical with the music video too, filming it in a recording studio as they casually sing and look adoringly into the camera. Overall, the video is pretty low key. It was shot in black and white and has a simple theme, which makes sense considering it’s a slower ballad. This way, we really get to focus on the message of the song (that you’re BEAUTIFUL) and their ridiculously good-looking profiles.
Also, how bout these gifs from magnificent-mofo, huh?

We know by now that directioners are obsessed in love with One Direction’s latest single “Little Things,” but we didn’t think that these fans would produce such gold. The comments for the lyric video are absolutely hilarious. I thought my inner fangirl was bad until I read through the pages of comments. And by pages, I mean novel.
While it’s true that most of the comments are hilarious, a few are quite serious. I suggest that any 1D haters out there read through what the fans have to say. The message of the song has changed lives for the better. If that isn’t a reason to love One Direction, then I don’t know what is… other than Niall’s cute face.
Here are the 15 best reactions to the “Little Things” lyric video:

While One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” tells you you’re GORG, their new track “Little Things” will make you believe it. In their new track they list all the quirky details about you they can’t get enough of you — probably the very things you don’t love about yourself.
They love the freckles on your cheeks, the crinkles by your eyes when you smile and the dimples in your back. ”I’m in love with you and all these little things,” they sing. Turns out, “One Thing” is composed of many “Little Things.”

If you can hardly wait for One Direction’s next single ‘Little Things”, perhaps this might satisfy you for the time being.
Providing a sneak preview for what the song will sound like, Ed Sheeran, who wrote the song, revealed some of the details on the “acoustic led” ballad.
“It’s got one of my favorite lines that I’ve ever written in a song,” Sheeran told Capital FM. “Harry says, ‘I know you never like the sound of your voice on tape / And you never like to know how much you weigh / And you still have to squeeze into your jeans / But you’re perfect to me.’”
About an ex-girlfriend, the song was written alongside singer-songwriter Fiona Bevan when Sheeran was 17. Having lost and found the song again, the boys in One Direction loved the song and wanted it to be on their next album.
“It was one of five songs that I gave to them which made the album,” Sheeran continued. “I think they just wanted to try something different. I think they did the same formula with the last single — it sounded like a One Direction song — and now I think they want to switch it up a bit.”
With that in mind, I SERIOUSLY CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS. I know the single is premiering in two days, but the suspense is KILLING me.
