I can’t tell whether or not this is cute or creepy.
But one thing’s for sure. When it’s Halloween season, shuffling and dancing along to the Monster Mash is an absolute MUST at any age. And proving that they are young at heart, these senior citizens totally nail it their awesome costumes!
The standards for marriage proposals have just been set
impossibly high, thanks to a guy named Brad. The last time we saw someone do a live lip-dub proposal we crowned it the best (and possibly only) of its kind. Things have changed.
Brad is clearly in love with his belle, Emily. Not only did he go to great lengths to gather family for the lip dub proposal, but he also looked to the guys from One Direction for help. The video shows family and friends rather enthusiastically lip syncing to the 1D classic, “One Thing.” The best part of the whole experience is the screaming that emerges from Emily when she sees old friends.
I wonder what the next lip-dub proposal is going to be. Surely someone will look to JBiebs for some help!

Life has come full circle with the third and final songified version of the presidential debate (find one and two here). If you didn’t have time to watch it last night, this version by Gregory Brothers pretty much gives you the gist of it while being super epic. The brothers also songified “Oh My Dayum,” and Kristen Bell’s sloth meltdown.
Best part has to be the creepy and unnatural singing by debate moderator Bob Schieffer.

I’m pretty sure the mark of a viral song these days is whether or not Barack Obama has covered it through baracksdubs. He already dubbed Carly Rae Jepsen, LMFAO and Justin Bieber so it’s natural he’d go for Brit boy band One Direction next.
Here he is singing “What Makes You Beautiful,” which makes us totally swoon. These are the words we always wished he would sing say to us.
On Wednesday’s episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy debuted a hilarious new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, which makes it seem a whole lot funnier than the serious action-adventure we’re expecting. Fallon added his own personal touch by getting Paul Reubens to lip-dub all the character’s voices as Pee-wee Herman, including Batman, Catwoman and Bane.
There’s nothing like the constrained, high pitched voice of Pee-wee Herman imitating Bane: ”Your punishment must be more severe.”
The Dark Knight Rises hits theatres on July 20 (ONE WEEK AWAY). The movie stars Christian Bale, returning as Batman, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, and Tom Hardy.
Not only is YouTube one of the greatest places where I spend most of my spare time, many people are taking it back old school. Last week, Jeremiah McDonald recorded a conversation with his 12 year-old-self (not to mention 20 years later). Now throw in some 90′s music, a video camera and your best dance moves. You’ll probably end up having one of the newest viral video on the web.
Alex Dainis from Boston, recorded herself lip-syncing Aaron Carter’s 2000 hit “Aaron’s Party,” at 17, 20 and most recently 23. All power to her. I mean, who else can’t say they never sang infront of their mirror with a hairbrush. I totally did because ‘N Sync was my jam, I’d just never post it.
Looks like this video will eventually evolve, Alex wrote on her video, “I just hope I’ll still be this ridiculous at 26, 29, 32…you get the idea. I think it’s simultaneously the best and worst idea I’ve ever had.”
What was your favourite song from your teenage years?
It was only a matter of time before president and artiste Barack Obama took on Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend.” He’s so obsessed with the guy that he fondly relates tales of Justin Bieber being a badass basketball player in political speeches. Also, three weeks ago barackdubs had him perform Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” which was a clear endorsement of Bieber considering he’s Jepsen’s boss.
The newest lip dub is a natural evolution from the last song, in which he urges us to call him, maybe. Now he’s subtly hinting that he’d like to take the next step, maybe get some fondue, and be our boyfriend. Yea, we’re totally okay with that.

Just so you know ladies and gents, wedding proposals these days won’t fly without some type of lip dub/marching band/costuming. Allison’s boyfriend told her to meet him in Bryant Park for lunch and when she arrived with a close friend there was a table set up with a fancy white cloth. Then there was a flash mob and an entire marching band playing “Hey Baby.” Wow, marriage doesn’t come cheap these days.
