Lennon Brothers Reconcile

The two sons of late Beatle JOHN LENNON have reconciled after an eight year feud.

Julian Lennon – son of the singer’s first wife Cynthia – fell out with his younger half-brother after he made negative comments about Sean’s mother Yoko Ono.

The brothers reconciled earlier this year when Julian, 44, surprised Sean, 31, on the latter’s tour bus.

Julian tells the New York Post, “I thought it time to make big changes in my own life. Part of that has been to get Sean back in to my life, because I love him so much.

“I got in touch with Sean’s tour manager without him knowing, and was sitting backstage when he came off a gig in Prague. He said, ‘Jesus, you look just like my brother.’

“I said, ‘I am your brother.’ He looked really closely at me, and it scared the s**t out of him. We just hugged and held each other.

“We had been out of touch because of comments I had made about his mother. So he said: ‘How long are you staying?’ I told him: ‘I am coming on the tour bus with you.’ So I slept on the floor as we travelled through Croatia and Slovenia.”

Lennon Sells Beatles Stake

JOHN LENNON’s eldest son JULIAN has sold his financial stake in the late BEATLE’s songs.

The 44-year-old handed over the rights to Primary Wave Music Publishing for a ’significant’ sum, rumoured to be higher than the $50 million the same company paid for a 50 per cent stake in Kurt Cobain’s music publishing catalogue last year.

The deal relates to the songwriting income generated by the Beatles compositions as opposed to the publishing rights.

Sean Lennon Not Happy With Pal Lohan’s New Film

SEAN LENNON and LINDSAY LOHAN’s friendship is at risk after the musician’s decision to go public with his feelings about her “tacky” new film.

The son of late BEATLE JOHN LENNON hates the idea of Lohan’s new movie CHAPTER 27, in which she plays a friend of his father’s killer MARK DAVID CHAPMAN, played by JARED LETO.

In one scene the young Sean meets Chapman in Central Park, New York – less than a mile from where the deranged fan shot his father dead outside the Dakota Building.

And Lennon is far from impressed with the film’s premise, stating, “It’s a tacky thing to make a film about.

“Lindsay was my friend, so I don’t want to hurt her feelings… I think she felt that she understood but she’d already agreed to do it.”

And speaking to US TV news show THE INSIDER before checking into rehab, Lohan revealed she knew all about her friend’s distaste for Chapter 27.

She said, “He’s my friend but he’s not supporting what went on (on the set). We respect each other… and I don’t support what happened to John Lennon.”
