Finn starts college and Rachel auditions for Funny Girl as the New Directions try to recover from the shooting.
Here’s what you missed on last night’s episode, “Sweet Dreams”:
Post Traumatic Stress
Regionals are right around the corner, but the glee kids are still struggling in the aftermath of the shooting at McKinley. Sam invents a twin, Tina rocks the latest punk fashions, and Unique takes birth control pills. Glee club is usually a place where they can sort out their problems, but Will was fed up and snapped at the kids during rehearsals. It’s understandable that everyone was lost, but they needed their teacher to help get them through! Get it together, Will!
Barbara/Rachel/Fanny
In the dictionary of Rachel Berry, the word “dream” has a picture of Fanny Bryce beside it, and she landed an audition for the part. She struggles at first with her song choice, but after some awesome advice from Finn and guidance from Shelby (she’s back as a “broadway daycare” teacher), Rachel nailed it with a rendition of the song that started it all: “Don’t Stop Believing.” Now if she would just get back together with Finn, then my dreams could come true too.
Marley’s New Material
In Ryan Murphy’s Twitter Q&A session yesterday, the Glee creator spilled that the show will be doing a tribute episode to Stevie Wonder. Let that sink in for a second.
“I think we’re going to do a big Stevie Wonder tribute toward the end of this year, which I’ve wanted to do for four years,” he told Hollywood.com.
I have not been this excited since the Michael Jackson episode.
It has been confirmed that Harry Shum will return as Mike Chang and Kurt will have a solo number. They might even be filming this now based on Harry Shum’s tweet earlier this morning.
In my opinion, Stevie Wonder has one of the greatest discographies ever and the Glee cast will without a doubt do the iconic singer justice. The show has already done one of his songs, “Isn’t She Lovely” with Kevin McHale singing it a capella. His version was incredible, and a good indicator of whats to come.
I have been seriously contemplating what Stevie songs might be featured in the episode, and who will sing them. Of course there will be duets, solos, a group number, and at least one number that reconstructs a music video. With this knowledge, I have drafted up a possible track list for the impending episode. It’ll be interesting to if I got it right when the episode airs or when song titles start to be released.
Here are 10 songs and who should sing them in Glee’s upcoming Stevie Wonder episode
1) Signed Sealed Delivered – Kurt
Reason: Ryan Murphy confirmed that Kurt will have a solo in this episode. “Like a fool I went and stayed to long/ now I’m wondering if your love’s still strong.” There is a strong likelihood Kurt may sing this to Blaine upon their inevitable reconciliation.
2) Livin For The City – Kurt/Santana/Rachel/Mercedes
Okay so all of these characters have been living it up in the city. Kurt, Santana, and Rachel are shacked up together in NYC, and Mercedes was in LA last time we checked. Amber Riley sang this song for president Obama (with Stevie in the room) and absolutely killed it, so I hope we can re-live it.
3) You Are The Sunshine Of My Life – Finn/Rachel
Not sure how likely this is, but Lea and Cory would sound incredible singing this duet. I just really miss Finchel duets.
4) For Once in my Life – Artie
I refuse to believe that Kevin McHale, one of the most soulful singers on Glee, will not get a solo to perform in the tribute episode. We were teased with a possible Artie/Kitty story line, so maybe something good happens and Artie chooses to sing about it in true Glee fashion.
5) My Cherie Amour – Ryder/Jake/Blaine/Artie/Sam
There are only five Glee episodes left, and they seem to be an eventful five episodes. A lot seems to be happening nearing the end of Glee’s fourth season, and we know that because creator Ryan Murphy told us himself.
In a quick question and answer session on Twitter, Murphy teased a lot of what fans can expect to see happen on the show. But WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!
Murphy has done a lot of Q&A’s on twitter. He has yet to tease without pleasing, so all this brand new information is exciting. Looks like the final episodes of Glee are going to be a whirlwind of relationships, self discovery (Rachel has an upcoming audition for Funny Girl), and good music. Yep, Glee is doing what it does best – another tribute episode, and a tribute to someone definitely worth paying homage to.
Murphy has given us a little bit of insight on the future of Santana, old graduates, Klaine, and an upcoming wedding. I am a bundle of feelings right now.
Here are the 7 important things Ryan Murphy revealed
1) Santana has a hot new love interest
2) Santana has an important self discovery plot line coming up
3) Hope for Klaine in the future?
4) Scratch that…is Klaine getting married? I’m sorry, WHAT? (Ryan tweeted in a Q&A earlier this year Kurt will be married by the time he is 21) Read more…
The Tumblr Actresses Without Teeth is basically why we won’t sleep tonight. Here’s who’ll be haunting our dreams:
1. Taylor Swift (she was in Valentine’s Day, okay?)

2. Ellen Degeneres, Katy Perry and Portia De Rossi

3. Kristen Stewart

4. Emma Watson
While Rachel struggles to come to terms with Brody’s secret, the McKinley kids indulged in their favourite guilty pleasures.
Here’s what you missed on last night’s episode, “Guilty Pleasures”
Guilty Pleasures
Mr. Schuester is out sick and instead of cancelling Glee, Blaine and Sam decided to take over and gave the group an assignment for the week. Inspired by Sam’s macaroni art (he does a mean Emma Stone), they decide everyone should sing a song by one of their guilty pleasure artists. Bring on the Wham!, Barry Manilow and Phil Collins!
He’s Got a Crush on You
Blaine may have thought his crush on Sam was a secret, but nobody else did. Sam spent the whole week trying to get Blaine to admit he was his guilty pleasure, but when all Blaine could come up with was Phil Collins, he finally admitted that he knew. It is really amazing that he doesn’t have a problem with Blaine’s feelings – although I’m sure with his looks he’s used to the attention.
Bitch Problems
The Glee club has 99 problems and they’re all Kitty (in this episode, anyways). She was admittedly the most hated girl in school, so she appeared on Fondue for Two to clear her rap. And when she revealed her biggest guilty pleasure was the Spice Girls, it was hard for everyone to hate on her. Let’s face it; the Spice Girls are the solution to every problem, ever.
Team Breezy
Now more than ever we are seeing young stars who got their start on Broadway find their way onto the big screen.
But there’s one Broadway show that seems to be the breeding ground for young actors and actresses: Duncan Sheik’s Spring Awakening. While it is common to see one star rise above the rest, majority of the Broadway stars who have landed roles in Spring Awakening went on to achieve wide recognition. Basically, if you don’t know who Lea Michele is, you probably live under a rock, and I pity you.
Read Below to learn more about your favorite stars who have been in Spring Awakening.
Lea Michele

While Lea Michele has been in Les Misérables and Ragtime as a child, but she broke through when starred in Spring Awakening. In Spring Awakening, Lea Michele’s character Wendla Bergman bares her breast, has an abortion, and dies. A little heavy for a high school student (Michele was 17 when the show made it to the stage), but it paid off after Glee producer Ryan Murphy spotted her in the show. Murphy initially casted Jonathan Groff for his pilot of Pretty/Handsome, and naturally Groff introduced Murphy to Michele. The rest is history. Lea Michele has rose to fame as Rachel Berry on Glee, and snagged award nominations and a new boyfriend in the process. Lea Michele and her indescribable voice has found her way from the stage to the screen, and we are so lucky it did because this way her voice now raises goose bumps on a weekly basis.

Skylar Astin
Skylar Astin took television and film by storm this year when he starred in Pitch Perfect and landed a guest role on Lena Dunham’s Girls. Since Pitch Perfect, his popularity sky rocked as the movie has built itself an almost a cult-like fan base. He most recently starred in 21 and Over, which many have described as the college version of The Hangover. Before breaking out in comedy, Astin started as Georg in Spring Awakening alongside Lea Michele and the rest of the gang. It’s become common knowledge that Spring Awakening gang are still incredibly tight knit. Lea Michele is constantly tweeting about Astin’s new projects, and has been campaigning to get him on Glee. It worked for Jonathan Groff, so keep your fingers crossed for a Astin guest spot on Glee.
Jonathan Groff
We all knew attention-whore Rachel would end up lost when she started studying at NYC’s Nyada. That’s what happens to big fish in little ponds — once they move to the ocean there’s way more competition. I was expecting the Fame-esque storyline from Glee and the promo confirms they’re going in this direction, but the new season looks 10 times better than I thought it would be because Kate freaking Hudson plays a witch of a Dance 101 instructor at the academy.
While the freshman dance in leotards around her, she confidently struts across the classroom pointing out their flaws and encouraging them to embrace body dysmorphia. It looks like she’s not a fan of her students, especially Rachel, who she insists has a stuck up attitude.
It’s true though! Rachel is pretty stuck up and if there’s one thing I want from her this season, it’s to be torn apart and built back up again as a less annoying prototype of herself.
Watch the promo for season 4 here:
Our favourite celebrities are usually so glammed up in dramatic costumes and makeup that it’s hard to imagine what they looked like as dimple-cheeked kids. From their perspective, a home video surfacing on YouTube must be like when a proud parent pulls out an embarrassing photo of your first successful potty training lesson to scare your new date (wait, that doesn’t happen to everyone?).
Luckily, these videos aren’t that embarrassing. In fact, they’re pretty adorable.
Kreayshawn
Without the heavy liquid eyeliner, Kreayshawn is barely recognizable. She posted this video on YouTube a couple days ago with the comment: “I decided to put some old footage of me up so you guys can see a little of how I grew up and some things that inspired me to be who I am today. It is pretty damn hilarious. I have always been a free spirt and I hope this video inspires young girls too. You can do anything you wanna do.”
Lady Gaga
When I was seven years old I could play “Hot Cross Buns” on the piano but here’s Lady Gaga basically being a little piano prodigy. The video, which was shot in 1993, is short, sweet and foreshadows what was to come… well, except for her daring sense of fashion. Who knew this headband-wearing pianist would later wear a smelly meat dress on the red carpet?

In her quest to become a full fledged member of the Twitterati, Lea Michele relies on the sneaky kitten strategy. She knows Internet culture can’t resist cat videos, cat photos, cat memes, cat gifs, cat…
smothered with a cold! not good !
— Niall Horan (@NiallOfficial) June 8, 2012
Niall Horan doesn’t just have the sniffles. He’s SMOTHERED with a cold. In these extreme cases, resort to the German remedy: deep tissue massage, chamomile tea, spiced rum and bed. We’ll do him a solid and help with the first part.
Ummm why are the bristles of my toothbrush wet? Wtf used my toothbrush while I was sleeping!?!

Yea, that’s right, Adele and Snooki are both the SAME AGE! It’s hard to believe they’re both only 24-years-old. Adele’s pipes and grace make her seem a little more mature than Jersey Shore star Nicole Polizzi Snooki. Still, even the reality star is acting a little older these days, what with her baby Guido on the way.
Check out these other celebs who are (surprisingly) the same age:
Justin Bieber, Taylor Momsen – 18

Heidi Montag, Lea Michele – 25

All these celebrities got to go to Coachella this weekend and be cute. While I’m still grappling with mild envy (no, I really enjoyed doing my banking this weekend) at least there are lots of photos to help us imagine we were there.
Katy Perry (above) makes me want to dye my hair a non-permanent purple and blue, don a flower ban and do a Coachella rain dance, if such a thing exists. She gets my vote for best Coachella look, but there are some more worthies below.
Lea Michele

Lea Michele was apparently VERY happy to stand next to this red alligator. She went with a simple white dress and stuck to her traditional pose. She always, always does this exact same pageant post and smile.
Rihanna

Rihanna went with the trademark Top Shop crop top, badass ripped denim shorts and a Chanel jacket. She also wore sunglasses at night to warn you that you don’t want to mess with her. S
Emma Watson

My second favourite look. mainly because of the classic hat. But can the girl smile? She’s at the Mulberry BBQ Pool Party after all.
Hot off his split from wife Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher steps out on the red carpet with a nice suit, a smile and a hot, younger co-star.
While many rumour are swirling of Demi allegedly already moving on with another man, Ashton’s not afraid to be seem flirting with “New Year’s Eve” costar Lea Michele.
The “Glee” actress was rocking a very low cut metallic dress and a whole lot of double sided tape. Is it just me or does she look like Demi Moore but only 30 years younger? I’m just thankful that Ashton finally got rid of that half-assed beard.
Do the two stars, who played each others love interests in the film, look like they’re more than friends at the premiere? Are they pulling a Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson and only pretending to go out so they can promote the movie? Check out all the photos from the saucy red carpet at Oh No They Didn’t.
As the first note of “Don’t Stop Believing” echoed throughout the Air Canada Centre at 9:00 p.m. on June 12, 2011, in Toronto, Ont., the crowd of Gleeks, young and old alike let themselves get lost in the music, letting out a unanimous shriek of delight. Red foam loser finger at the ready, everyone began dancing as Corey Monteith and Lea Michele kicked of what would be one hour and twenty five minutes of Glee heaven, full of songbirds, ballads, and duets…I mean, duvets – according to Britney S. Pierce, anyway.
Throughout every song, the vocals of each cast member were flawless – it is next to impossible to single out any of them as the greatest performer of the night. What was most impressive was how many songs they fit into such a short amount of time! They covered most of the favourites – although I would have liked a song or two from Wicked, but you can’t be too picky! – paying homage to all the little details from the show that the fans hold so dear to their hearts, from the costumes, the classroom, and the dance moves, right down to good ol’ “Trouty Mouth”.
Although Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch were not there in person, their lack of attendance was made up by a series of videos the two filmed beforehand, where they are talking to the audience or the cast themselves, giving advice or just being plain ol’ Sue Sylvester and getting the Cheerios to hand out barf bags to the audience before the concert started.
It was especially nice to see the cast being so interactive with the audience. There was a little stage set up at the other end of the floor section, and the cast switched back and forth regularly from there to the main stage so everyone had a good view. As well, they would walk through the audience to get from one stage to another, singing into peoples cameras and shaking hands as they went along.
The Warblers got their time to shine as well, with a three-song set in the middle of the show. Heather Morris, a.k.a. Britney, even hit on “Blaine Warbler”, asking him to make out with her in front of the whole audience, and was answered by a charming and sassy Chris Colfer with a, “Britney, are you flirting with my man in Toronto?!” Chris, a-la Kurt Hummel, then went on to make a “deep proposal” to Blaine in honour of Lake Ontario being the deepest of the Great Lakes, asking him to join the Glee club – which Darren Criss then did, for all the encore songs that New Directions sang.
Over all, the concert was extremely entertaining and mistake free aside from the one time Chris dropped his microphone in the middle of a song. Heather did Britney Spears justice by giving a performance that made the audience second guess if they weren’t actually watching Britney Spears on stage right then and there. When Amber Riley sang “Ain’t No Way,” her flawless vocals that rang through the darkness, a single spotlight only on her, were accompanied by the constant camera flashes all around the arena as if a hundred fireflies were circling her, making the performance truly magical. And when Ashley Fink as Lauren Zizes told Mark Salling (Noah “Puck” Puckerman) to “Get over here,” during “Fat Bottomed Girls,” every girl in the audience wished they were her.
While being as unbiased as possible, I have to say that this was one of the greatest concerts I have been to, vocally and entertainment-wise – the only criticism I have was that it ended way too soon after it began. I give it a four and a half stars out of five – good job Glee club!
Set List:

Hip-hop singer Nicki Minaj retweeted tsunami facts and preparedness tips from the Red Cross.

Lea Michele, Diana Agron, and Corey Montieth of “Glee” are featured on the cover of GQ’s November issue. The two women are rather scantily clad, but the cover is not really the source of controversy, it’s what’s inside.
Agron and Michele are featured in a sexy school girl spread that the Parents Television Council has deemed as “bordering on pedophilia” reports celebrity-gossip.net. Michele is actually photographed with her legs spread apart holding a lollypop while sitting on a locker room bench.
Though Michele hasn’t spoken out against the backlash surrounding the photoshoot, Agron has. Agron sort of apologizes for the photos but basically says that your eight-year-old children probably shouldn’t be reading GQ in the first place.
GQ is a Men’s Magazine so it is not surprising to see women objectified on the cover and in the pages. I admit the pictures are racy, but they are why the magazine sells. Perhaps, the stars of “Glee” were a poor choice for an issue.
While “Glee” has a teen demographic, it is not entirely tame. The show payed homage to Rocky Horror Picture Show, for Christ’s sake, a film that is completely centered on sex.
So your eight -year-olds are listening to Katy Perry, watching “Glee”, and reading Twilight they are definitely going to learn about sex and see some women in bikinis and tight fitting clothing.
In terms of the spread “bordering on pedophilia” I think that claim is a little overboard. The show is about high school so a photo shoot with a Britney Spears “Hit Me Baby One More Time” aesthetic does seem appropriate.
I don’t necessarily think the “Glee” stars owe any one an apology. After all, sex sells.
With only one season under their bedazzled belt, Gleeks everywhere may be camping outside theatres in the near future for – not one – but three Glee movies.
According to Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton, actors such as Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, and Matthew Morrison have signed contracts agreeing to work on at least three movies in the future.
A clause in the actors’ contracts originally signed for the television show reads “[The actor] hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature length motion pictures.”
This doesn’t necessarily mean that a Glee trilogy is guaranteed for the future, but FOX has the rights to the actors if that’s the route that they choose to go. After usurping American Idol as the channel’s most popular show, we wouldn’t be surprised if FOX chose to move in New Directions.
Since the “Glee Live!” tour has decided to skip over it’s Canadian neighbors, the silver screen might be the only place you can watch the show-stopping show choir off of your TV.
Word recently got out that Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Barrie on Fox’s hit TV show Glee, is a crazy diva who terrorizes her cast mates, reports perezhilton.com.
But Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, begs to differ.
Murphy said:
“[The rumors are] not accurate and not true at all. Lea is the sweetest, most professional girl. She’s incredibly kind and she’s always on time and she’s always with her cast hanging out. They’re all close. I told Lea this would happen to her in July of last year. Just wait, people will start to write untruths. I told her, ‘Keep your chin up and it just happens. It’s happened to me and it’s happened to everyone. So don’t pay any attention to it.’ But it’s definitely not true. Lea is great.”
In other news, a new episode of Glee hits television sets tonight (Tuesday, May 18). It should be a good one, with a much-anticipated rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” as well as guest star Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother).
For those who secretly (and not-so-secretly) delight in the newest FOX series, Glee, they may be disappointed that the onscreen relationships have not been transferred to reality.
Dispelling rumors that Cory Monteith, who plays Finn in the musical television show, and Lea Michele (Rachel) are dating in real life, he spoke out with “we’re great friends.” According to people.com, Monteith states that “we’ve become really closer over the show, but we’re just friends. We’re not dating.”
