We went deep into the ANDPOP vault for this last video from our Lawson live stream.
While we did upload the whole show here, who could ever forget the time the boys from Lawson played a quick round of ANDPOP CanPop? ANDPOP’s fearless host Simon Mohos just had to test the Brits’ vast knowledge of Canadian pop culture to see just how well they can act out our favourite celebs. Lawson’s Andy Brown was brave enough to step up to the plate and take on Simon’s challenge. Just watch and see how well he shakes and shimmies to help his bandmates guess our Canadian icons.
With the likes of Ed Sheeran and Olly Murs, British singers are pretty much dominating North American air waves right now. What else has appeared? Boy bands. Yes, boy bands. Good thing the biggest difference between these boy bands and the ones we’ve had in the 90′s is that well, they’re not so corny.
I’ve put together a little chart to see which boy band you’re most like. Yes, I know Lawson’s not really your typical boy band, but with their awesome looks, girls can’t help but swoon over them, so I decided to put them on there. Check out the chart underneath, and let’s see what you got. (Don’t worry, if you didn’t get what you wanted, you can always try again!)
British boy band Lawson paid a visit to our fair city earlier this month during their first North American tour. Luckily for us, the quintet was nice enough to sit down for a good old fashion livestream. The boys were kind enough to answer our questions as well as perform four songs for their dedicated Canadian fans!
Missed the show? Don’t fret! Here’s every song from their acoustic set at Toronto’s Gibson Guitar and watch the livestream in full here.
Learn to Love Again
Standing In The Dark
Taking Over Me
When She Was Mine

We hosted a livestream with UK’s Lawsonlast Friday in front of a live studio audience and they performed a four-song acoustic set. Make sure to watch the full interview (over and over) below, check out exclusive photos on Facebook and tweet us your favourite part at @andpop with the hashtag #LawsonOnAndpop.
Lawson fans waited outside, huddled under blankets, since 7 am in Canada’s cold temps to see their favourite guys in person. That’s dedication right there and it’s not hard to see why they’re obsessed!
UK’s Lawson sat down with ANDPOP host Simon Mohos for a live interview and performance at Toronto’s Gibson Guitar during their North American debut. Along with taking fan questions they performed four acoustic songs, that included their most recent track “Learn to Love Again,” off Chapman Square.
We basked in much Twitter love under the hashtag #LawsonOnAndpop and even made someone’s life (see below).
