The glamorous women of Sex and the City jetted to Las Vegas last night – well all of them, but one. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin David and Cynthia Nixon were all in Sin City to accept the honour of winning this year’s Ensemble Award at ShowWest, a movie industry convention, but Kim Cattrall was nowhere to be found, according to E! Online.
This time, it is not because of gossip or a feud, she was simply busy starring in a West End production of Noel Coward’s play Private Lives, in London.
The girls joked about her absence, and expressed their fondness to the smokin’ 53-year-old actress.
“We don’t like her, so she’s gone,” Parke joked backstage. “We’ve actually been emailing with her for the last three or four hours. The next time you see us, we will be complete.”
Nixon added, “We miss her.”
Last night, Marie Osmond stepped back on stage for the first time since the tragic death of her son, reports TMZ.
At her Las Vegas performance, Osmond spoke to the audience about her recent loss.
“The way Osmonds survive is we keep singing and that’s what we want to do tonight … I know my son would want that. He was full of love and laughter and this show is for him, ” said an emotional Osmond.

Jayde Nicole, famous for being a Playboy playmate and dating The Hills star Brody Jenner, is being touted around Las Vegas as a full-service escort who will come straight to your room. The only minor issue is that she knows nothing about it.
As TMZ reports, the playmate’s picture is being passed around Vegas on those escort-for-hire cards that are flung at passersby on the streets. On the card, Jayde is identified as “Tanya,” with the words “$35 Special” written below. The kicker is, the nude picture that is used on the card is ripped straight from her Playboy spread.

The pair bought Good Girl Bad Girl leather wrist cuffs, Skin Honey and a Tickle Me Intimacy LoveKit, which comes with kissable body shimmer, a feather body duster, massage oil and lube.

Ashton Kutcher’s private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas Thursday, reports Perez Hilton. Shortly after a 1 p.m. takeoff, the aircraft began having engine trouble and returned to the ground about six minutes later.
“My plane just had to do an emergency landing,” Kutcher wrote on Twitter. “Engine over heated. Fire trucks everywhere. Good times.”
His wife, Demi, who was also aboard the plane, wrote on her Twitter: “Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing all!”
After confirming he was “happy to be alive,” Kutcher invited his Twitter followers to a party at New York’s Turtle Bay Bar to promote his new movie Spread, which hits theatres August 14.
Perez Hilton reports a special Michael Jackson benefit concert will be held at the Palms Casino and Hotel to remember the star. The concert will be a tribute to the King of Pop, featuring “cast members on current shows on the Strip to the big guys, along with some bands.”
There are also rumours that Michael’s brother and former band-mate, Jermaine Jackson, is planning to meet with executives at the Wynn Las Vegas to discuss a possible show featuring the remaining members of the Jackson Five.

Bradley Cooper gained two important things from shooting his upcoming hyped summer comedy flick The Hangover.
The first being his now refined Yoda-like knowledge of throwing the perfect bachelor party- which he says should include condoms, a muppet, and lots of ice.
But the second, and by far gaining the most buzz, is Cooper’s promotion of a lifetime from a working actor, to well, a movie star.
Only, if you ask the humble 34-year-old North Philly about the hype, you’ll suddenly be hauled back down to earth.
“I don’t feel any of that and maybe I should,” Cooper tells andPOP modestly, trying to keep the excitement at bay. A failed attempt, considering Warner Bros. Entertainment already gave the green light to a sequel in 2011 even before the current film hits theaters on June 5.
“I will admit this though,” he says, “I do have a bigger role in the movie than usual which I really liked.”

Lara Flynn Boyle is the new owner of a Las Vegas hotel … sort of.
The actress didn’t actually buy anything; her character did. And it’s not even a real hotel; it’s the Montecito, the fictional resort and casino from the hit NBC show Las Vegas.
Flynn Boyle will join the cast- which includes James Caan, Nikki Cox, and Josh Duhamel- next season.
During last season’s finale, a new owner purchased the Montecito and blew it up, but the owner was never shown (and as it turns out, guessing who it was wouldn’t have been a good idea for Las Vegas fans). How they will build a brand new casino and hotel over the summer can be attributed to the magic of television.
Flynn Boyle previously starred in The Practice and appeared in Men in Black II and Wayne’s World.
The final four singers vying to become the Canadian Idol were flown to Las Vegas over the weekend to meet Celine Dion.
The relaxed Dion was candid with the finalists, who asked questions, and posed for pictures with the diva, following her performance of her sold-out Vegas production, “A New Day.”
“Be kind. Be generous. Be smart. Work hard, but have fun. The best is yet to come,” she told them.
Gary Beals, Audrey de Montigny, Billy Klippert, and Ryan Malcolm, also went on a backstage tour.
The segment with Dion will air on CTV’s Canadian Idol on Monday.
