Lance Bass Talks *NSYNC Reunion, Solo Album

Lance Bass may be dancing at the moment, but he also has singing on his mind.

The *NSYNC-er, who is currently touring with “Dancing With The Stars,” says he hopes to get back together with the other members of the pop group to start work on new projects.

“You never know what the other guys are going to be able to do or what they’re thinking, but I hope in the next few years we would definitely be able to do another tour and another album,” Bass told Billboard.

*NSYNC have been on hiatus since 2002, with Justin Timberlake breaking out into a highly successful solo singing career.

Bass also revealed a solo album of his own may be in the works.

“I will be toying around in the studio just for fun, just to see what does work and what kind of sound I would have,” he said, adding that a solo project would “definitely be more in the rock element.”

Bass, who finished third on this season of “Dancing,” published an autobiography in 2007 called “Out of Sync,” which made the New York Times Best Seller List.

He also trained to be certified as a Russian cosmonaut during the hiatus and hopes to make it aboard the International Space Station one day.

Bass Loves The Single Life

Former ‘N SYNC star LANCE BASS is enjoying the single life since splitting with reality television star REICHEN LEHMKUHL in January.

Singer Bass – who ‘came out’ as a homosexual last year – is relishing his new found independence following the break up.

He says, “I’m in such a great place. I’m so happy I’m myself again…

“It’s nice to be able to just date, because I had never been on a date in my life.”

Bass & Lehmkuhl Split For Good

Former ‘N SYNC star LANCE BASS and his boyfriend REICHEN LEHMKUHL have ended their on/off romance.

The couple split late last year but reunited over Christmas and were recently spotted at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah together.

But now Bass confirms he’s single again, insisting he and his ex aim to be just good friends.

He tells People magazine, “We broke up last week, but we’re really good friends.”

Bass came out about his homosexuality in People last summer after falling for the former model-turned-reality TV star.

Lance and Reichen Call It Quits

Lance Bass of ‘N Sync fame and his “Amazing Race”-winning boyfriend, Reichen Lehmkuhl, have split.

The two made a joint statement announcing the end of their relationship. They’d announced that they were together in July, when Bass, 27, revealed that he was gay.

“We remain the best of friends,” the two said in a statement to People magazine. “Please respect our privacy as we try to work things out during this difficult time.”

Rumours of their break-up began circulating after Bass was seen without the 33-year-old Lehmkuhl at a party on Friday in Las Vegas.

Interview: What Were Lance Bass and Reichen Doing at the Toronto Film Fest?

There were some familiar faces popping up at almost every party during the Toronto Film Fest, which ended last week. If you say you were at a film fest party and you didn’t see Samuel L. Jackson at some point, you probably weren’t really at a film fest party.

But an unlikely couple made the rounds — Lance Bass and partner Reichen Lehmkuhl.

Bass, the former ‘N Sync member who came out of the closet at the end of July, was in Toronto shopping around a few movie ideas.

“I’m looking for directors and writers,” Bass told andPOP on the Premiere Lounge red carpet, about an hour before Wyclef Jean performed. “I have a couple of projects that I’m looking for financing. I’m meeting a lot of new people.”

Bass said he has one film that will be suitable for some musicians who want to get into acting, much like he did with the film “On the Line.”

“It’s been a very successful week. Hopefully things will get going in the next month or so,” Bass said, with Lehmkuhl by his side.

Meanwhile, Lehmkuhl was hoping that appearing in Toronto would help him promote his book, “What We’ll Say: A Memoir of Growing Up, Coming Out, and the U.S. Air Force,” released at the end of August.

“It is about my coming out of the closet at the U.S. Air Force Academy and the other cadets who came out of the closet with me and how we created a secret society to survive there,” he said. “I want to expose what the ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ policy is doing to our service academies that are being paid for by U.S. tax dollars.”

He hopes the book can shake up the military.

“I hope we come one step closer to eradicating the policy and the ban on gay people serving in our nation’s military.”

When Bass confirmed that he was gay, some media reports speculated that Lehmkuhl pushed him into revealing his sexual preference to help him sell his book. Not so, says Lehmkuhl.

“I’ve been working on the book for two years so it’s hard for me to hear that. This is my baby and I’m going to do my best to promote it,” he said, adding that he is “very proud of Lance.”

‘N Sync’s Lance Bass: I’m Gay

Lance Bass, most notably a member of boy-band ‘N Sync, came out of the closet on Wednesday and said he is in a relationship with a former reality TV star.

Bass revealed that he is gay in an interview with People magazine. But Perez Hilton, the popular gossip blogger, has been reporting on Bass’ sexual preference for several months.

Bass claimed that he kept his sexuality a secret so that the popularity of ‘N Sync wouldn’t be jeopardized.

“I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys’ careers in my hand and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything,” said the 27-year-old performer.

Bass also revealed that he is currently in a “very stable” relationship with 32-year-old actor Reichen Lehmkuhl, who won the fourth season of CBS’ Amazing Race with then-partner, Chip Arndt.

According to Bass, he picked now as the time to reveal his sexuality because rumours “really were starting to affect my daily life.”

“Now it feels like it’s on my terms,” he said.
