Known for breaking girls’ hearts all over Laguna Beach (and his long-term relationship with co-star Lauren Conrad), Jason Wahler was quite the catch back in his day. Sadly, he’s most recently been caught by the police. And it’s not the first time.

The Laguna Beach/The Hills star has been sentenced to two days in jail and three months in an alcohol offender program for pleading guilty yesterday (May 3) to a DUI charge, reports PerezHilton.

Wahler was previously in jail and rehab for alcohol issues. You can relive some of that drama on The Hills (you know, back when it was good because LC was still on it).

The cast from “The Hills” (minus Lauren Conrad) is set to return to the small screen on September 29 at 10 p.m. on MTV, according to MTV News.

This upcoming season will mark the return of Kristin Cavallari to MTV. However, the show will return with familiar faces, including Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Lo Bosworth.

Pratt seemed more than happy to share screen time with Cavallari. “There wouldn’t be a ‘Hills’ if there wasn’t a Kristin Cavallari, because the ‘Laguna Beach’ brand wouldn’t have had the power,” Spencer told MTV News. “We still love Lauren, we’d love to have you come back on the show. But hey, you were the calm, quiet girl trying to steal Kristin’s boyfriend, the cool girl at the high school. So shout-out to the cool girl joining ‘The Hills’!”

Alex Murrel, a former cast member of MTV’s reality show “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County,” had her rented house visited by police last week in Orange County.

According to E! Online, the reality star’s boyfriend was busted for felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

Murrel was reportedly questioned by police, but only as a witness, and is not expected to face any charges relating to the bust.

Sgt. Jason Kravetz of the Laguna Beach Police Department told E! News, “The immigration people came down and asked us for assistance. They found him at the girlfriend’s house and we assisted them but we had a new charge to add on because of the cocaine in the house which was his.”

Murrel, 22, was one of the leads in “Laguna Beach’s” second season and is reportedly working on a music career.

A US reality TV star was arrested at the weekend after attempting to hinder police as they investigated underage drinkers in North Carolina.

Former LAGUNA BEACH star JASON WAHLER was arrested and booked by cops after allegedly resisting a public officer during a raid at a nightclub.

According to police sources, obtained by TMZ.com, Wahler, 20, lied about his age when he was approached by members of the Alcohol Law Enforcement Division inside Rumors nightclub.

Wahler claimed he wasn’t carrying any identification and was taken to Pitt County Jail early on Saturday morning, where sources claim he was anything but co-operative.

Wahler was later released on $1,000 bail. He is due to back in court next month.

Laguna Beach’s Talan Torriero just keeps moving up the dating ladder. Torriero, the cute boy who hooked up with Laguna co-star Kristin Cavallari on season two of the MTV reality series, has gone on to date red-hot Lindsay Lohan and now – Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

Torriero and PCD frontwoman Scherzinger were caught by paparazzi Thursday eating and shopping at Los Angeles’ The Grove.

Scherzinger tried to stay low-key, hiding underneath an oversized camo hoodie and big sunglasses but she couldn’t escape the cameras.

Torriero was photographed carrying Scherzinger’s purse.

Fans of MTV’s documentary series “Laguna Beach” should listen closely to the show’s background music: they could be listening to music hand-picked by a celebrity music supervisor.

First up is Dashboard Confessional frontman Chris Carrabba, who MTV has selected to oversee the scoring of an upcoming episode of Laguna. Carrabba has chosen four songs to be included in the show: “Ageless Beauty” by Stars, “This Isn’t Farmlife” by Essex Green, “Lloyd I’m Ready to be Heartbroken” by Camera Obscura and “Pin Your Wings” by Copeland. Of course, one of Dashboard’s own songs, “Currents,” will also be heard during the episode.

This won’t be the first time Carrabba’s music has been featured on the show – Dashboard songs have been played during several previous episodes.

“In an era where everyone makes playlists and mixtapes, it’s just a hair cooler to do it to something with visuals,” Carrabba told Billboard.com.

Meanwhile, MTV’s director of music creative and licensing Joe Cuello said, “We want kids to know that he collaborated on the sound of the show and influenced how it feels.”
