The cast from “The Hills” (minus Lauren Conrad) is set to return to the small screen on September 29 at 10 p.m. on MTV, according to MTV News.

This upcoming season will mark the return of Kristin Cavallari to MTV. However, the show will return with familiar faces, including Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Lo Bosworth.

The season finale of “The Hills” left Lauren Conrad’s relationship with Brody Jenner up in the air. So it’s no surprise that Conrad was seen making out with her former flame and “Laguna Beach” cast member Stephen Coletti.

According to US magazine, Coletti, now an MTV host, arrived with Conrad at LA hot spot Central on Saturday and appeared intimate immediately. After flirting and chatting on the dance floor, Coletti carried Conrad to the bar and they went at it.

It has previously been rumoured that Kristin Cavallari, another “Laguna” alum and Coletti’s ex, will be on the next season of “The Hills.” It would be typical of the show to also add Coletti to the cast, to maximize the drama.

The ladies of Laguna Beach, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad, have both broke up with their boyfriends.

Kristin Cavallari, 19, and Brody Jenner, 22, have broken up, confirms People.

“Yes, Brody and I broke up,” Cavallari said. “It’s just hard right now because I am working all the time. We’re still good friends though.”

The couple, who met through a Laguna Beach co-star, Talan Torriero, briefly broke up in February, around the time she was spotted spending time with Nick Lachey. Cavallari insisted they were just friends and later reconciled with Jenner, her first mature relationship.

Cavallari just wrapped up her new movie, Fingerprints, and is currently working on Spring Breakdown, scheduled for release later next year.

Lauren Conrad, 20, has also parted ways with her boyfriend, Jason Wahler, 19.

The couple first broke up on the show when Wahler was caught kissing his ex, but later rekindled the romance once Conrad moved to LA for her show, The Hills. Conrad must have thought it was going to work after she turned down a summer fashion internship in Paris for Wahler.
