Another Sexy Role for Kim Cattrall

Canadian Kim Cattrall has already signed on for another steamy role.

Her new HBO show is the adaptation of the British series, “Sensitive Skin.” According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cattrall will play “a middle-aged wife and mother (Cattrall) in New York who rediscovers her sexuality and begins to question her place in the world and the choices she has made in life.”

There are no details yet when the show will premiere.

Kim Cattrall Helps Launch New SUV

Canadian actress Kim Cattrall was in Detroit Sunday to promote a new sport utility vehicle from Mercedes-Benz, one that her “Sex and the City” character Samantha Jones will cruise around in in the upcoming movie.

Wearing a form-fitting red dress, Cattrall proved to be the main attraction at the North American International Auto Show as she helped Daimler AG pitch the Mercedes-Benz Vision GLK.

“I am always happy to be in the company of many, many men and their toys,” said Cattrall as she stood alongside Daimler AG chairman Dieter Zetsche.

She said the compact SUV was the perfect car for her character Samantha.

“Very passionate people make Mercedes and they’re very smart and I’ve always considered both of those things right down Samantha’s alley,” Cattrall said. “It’s a cutting-edge car.”

She said the vehicle “speaks more about where (Samantha is) in her life and her lifestyle.”

Cattrall tested the car in “real-live shopping conditions” on the set of the movie and “it passed with flying colours,” according to the actress.

“Then there’s the rugged design, the masculine qualities, the assertiveness and those bulges in all the right places. It is a tight little package.”

Cattrall also said she was surprised but thrilled about the huge buzz surrounding the film.

“I did not imagine the anticipation. I don’t think anybody could. So we’re all kind of riding high on that,” Cattrall said.

The “Sex and the City” movie hits theatres on May 30. Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Chris “Mr. Big” Noth will all reprise their roles from the hit TV series, which ended its run in 2004.
