Although Katy Perry is madly in love with her husband Russell Brand, the 26 year old pop star told InStyle she is not ready for kids.

“Not yet,” she reveals. “I think if you’re married, it’s often in your future.”

However, she is not worried about how kids could impact her career.

“I want to have kids! I’m totally fine with saying that. I think some people are worried it’s going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life. I don’t want to miss out on any experience. I want lots of children.”

We really hope the National Enquirer is misinformed or just plain lying. The publication is reporting that Justin Bieber wants to have kids with Selena Gomez.

The National Enquirer is reporting:

“Bieber has babies on the brain. All he talks about is having a little Bieber with Selena. Young parenthood seems completely normal to Gomez and Bieber. Selena is suggesting they should wait until at least he turns 18 in March before considering parenthood. Justin wants a fairytale love with Selena, and for him that means creating a family together.”

We can’t believe this is true. In our opinion Justin Bieber is the real deal and a pretty smart guy. We are confident that he’s smart enough to know having kids this early in life is not the greatest idea. Besides, he still a kid too. It wasn’t too long ago when we interviewed a very young/kiddish Justin Bieber.

Justin Bieber Wants Canadian Kids

Justin Bieber is an international celebrity, but he still sees Canada as home. And if he ever has kids, Justin wants them to be Canadian.

He told TMZ, “I think it would be cool to get a condo out here (Los Angeles), but eventually I’ll probably want to move back to Canada and raise my family. Why? I dunno, I’m Canadian, I feel like I want my kids to be Canadian.”

He continued, “If you travel round the world and put a Canadian sticker on your bag, they’ll be nicer.”

You gotta give Justin credit, he doesn’t forget where he comes from.

Shakira’s New Charity Mission

Shakira has a new charity mission to help the YMCA education programs for Hispanic youths in Miami.

The Colombian singer’s Barefoot Foundation has teamed up with her boyfriend’s soccer team FC Barcelona. Shakira’s boyfriend is George Pique.

Shakira said when announcing the partnership, “Hispanics in the United States have everything to gain. We have the talent, we have the will. I truly think that with more education and more sports, we can achieve the unthinkable. We can have the ball on our side of the court.”

Charlie Sheen Loses Custody Battle

Charlie Sheen has lost his custody battle against estranged wife Brooke Mueller.

The actor, who was hoping to win primary legal and physical custody of their two-year-old twins Bob and Max after Mueller refused to take a drug test last Friday and entered rehab. His plea was rejected.

Mueller, who was in court, seemed “unsteady on her feet”and “glassy-ed” at the hearing but smiled as she left, according to RadarOnline.com.

Sheen on the other hand, had no comment.

While on tour with his “The Violent Torpedo of Truth” show, Sheen reportedly left after his stop at Connecticut last night to be in L.A. for the hearing this morning to ask a judge for full custody of his sons, and possibly take them on tour with him for the final two weeks of his show.

It was said that Mueller refused a drug test last week, which was required as part of her custody settlement with Sheen. According to TMZ.com, video footage was caught of her hocking items in a pawn shop, generating rumours of a relapse. She later checked into rehab.

Sheen first learned of the news about Mueller during his second show in Toronto. Halfway through his performance , comedian Russell Peters (who co-hosted the Toronto gigs), read the report from TMZ about Mueller refusing a drug test, which the former Two and a Half Men star took to mean that he would be regaining custody of his children.

“I’m in Toronto and I get the best news of my life,” he said.

But seeing that Sheen has lost his custody battle, the actor certainly hasn’t been “winning” lately. His entourage also took a hit as one of his goddesses, porn star Bree Olson, decided to leave the tour, and return to her home in Indiana.

Tiger Woods says single fatherhood is ‘tough’

In an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America Thursday, Tiger Woods said that he’s working at getting his life back on track, especially when it comes to his kids.

“It’s work, there’s no doubt,” said the golfer, who admitted last year to having multiple affairs while married to wife, Elin Nordegren.

“It’s tough. But it’s enjoyable.” On being a single father, he added, “that’s the work I love.”

Yes, this is the part where everyone rolls their eyes in an obvious ‘duh’ fashion. I don’t think there is a parent out there that would sympathize with the ‘toughness’ of Woods’ single fatherhood. He even went on with the clichéd “family’s first” bit. Oh, so it was his family he was thinking of when he was with at least 9 women who weren’t his wife?

Please, Tiger.

The interview on GMA, along with an appearance Wednesday night on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, was the first for Woods since late November 2009, when a strange car accident and rumours of Nordegren chasing Woods’ with one of his many golf clubs, triggered a chain of events that unveiled his shady private life, and ultimately – ended in divorce.

Since then Woods has been trying to focus on his two children, daughter Sam and son Charlie, who no doubt, is already following in the footsteps (the good ones) of his dad.

“Give him a stick and ball and he’s happy,” said Woods. He even went as far as to proudly call him a “little brute.”

Now as far as Google tells me, ‘brute’ means ‘animal’ or ‘beast’. I’m not sure why a father would see it fit to describe his 2-year-old son with such an adjective, but I certainly hope little Charlie will be able to control his animalistic urges when he grows up.

At least, a bit better than his father did.

Charlie Sheen’s Sons Taken Away by Police

As if Charlie Sheen hasn’t dominated news headlines already, here’s another story to keep you shaking your heads.

Police arrived at Sheen’s doorstep yesterday, taking his two sons with soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller after Mueller filed for a restraining order against Sheen following what her lawyer says was ”specific, descriptive threats.” The restraining order, which Mueller obtained a couple days ago, requires Sheen to stay 100 yards away from her. But of course this doesn’t bother him – he reportedly told TMZ that he was considering getting a restraining order against Mueller anyway, due to her erotic behaviour. Right, that’s what they all say.

Mueller is also fighting for custody, telling the judge he should return her sons to her after Sheen’s blow-up during a trip to the Bahamas with Mueller last week, along with the string of Sheen-bursts, following the cancellation Two and a Half Men for the remainder of this season. And apparently, the judge agrees – who wouldn’t?

According to Perez Hilton, this isn’t the first time Mueller has demanded the courts to take her sons away from Sheen’s home. Mueller had originally gone to the Beverly Hills Police Department with her plea, only to be turned away and told that she was at the wrong police department, since Sheen does not live in Beverly Hills. Good job!

Their two sons, Bob and Max, who are almost two years old, had been living with Sheen in his Mulholland Estates home since before the Bahamas debacle, but as of recently have been staying with Mueller.

“I was more surprised,” Moira Fiore, Mueller’s mother, told E! News in light of Sheen’s recent…outbursts, to put it mildly. “Everything in the past two days really surprised all of us, it’s just not like him. So yes, we’re very upset, but that’s life.”

Post-Bahamas, Sheen was saying he wanted to purchase a house for the family so they would be living closer to him – I sure hope it was at least 100 yards away!

Of course, Sheen still thinks he has a fighting chance in winning this battle, tweeting last night, “My sons are fine… My path is now clear… Defeat is not an option..!”, and claiming that he deserves full custody due to Mueller’s struggle with substance abuse and her erotic behaviour. Way to call the kettle a drug-addict, pot… I mean, Charlie. Right, sorry, Charlie doesn’t do drugs. Guess you’re not buying that house for Brooke and your two sons anymore, are you?

“Brooke does have the children now,” Fiore told E! News. “I’m sure if he’s going to go for full custody then she will, too.”

And so the Sheen-Mueller custody battle begins. All we can say is, good luck, Charlie!

Tiger Woods Divorce Settlement Revealed

Being a world famous golfer means never having to say you’re sorry – but it does mean that your divorce settlement will be a multi-million dollar affair.

Radar Online is reporting that Tiger Woods has paid his ex-wife Elin Nordegren approximately $110 million in divorce payouts.

The ever-classy Nordegren has refused to flaunt her settlement money. Though she’s quite clearly rolling in it, Elin’s only major shopping trip of recent history seems to be a quick house-hunting jaunt in Florida to be close to Tiger and to ease the joint custody of their children.

“Tiger was worried Elin was going to move back to Sweden and take their children,” an unnamed source said.”That was a bigger hang up than money. Making sure he had access to Sam and Alexis was crucial for Tiger.”

And that might not be the end of Elin’s payout! Because Tiger is worth roughly $500 million in total, She could be entitled to another $100 million in cash and assets.

After banging half of the world’s trashy hooker population, we think Woods got what was coming to him.

Kate Gosselin Claims Kids Hate Staying at Jon Gosselin’s House

Kate Gosselin appeared on the daytime talk show “Regis and Kelly” explaining that her eight kids hate staying at Jon Gosselin’s apartment in New York City.

“I basically wait for the phone call from how many of them want to come home,” Kate explained on the show.

Kate further explained that the kids don’t feel comfortable in Jon’s apartment, and would prefer staying at their Pennsylvania home. Additionally she also claims Jon has been an absentee Dad. ”It’s only been three months that he’s actually been spending time with them and taking them.”

Jon struck back to Kate’s comments via Twitter.

As much as I want to respond to numerous LIES recently claimed on Regis and Kelly, I will refrain. I have learned from the past that it’s a waste of my time and energy. I am “rising above”, and refuse to engage in any sort of public argument that could potentially harm or upset my children. My children and the people in my life know the truth, and that is what’s important.

We always thought Jon and Kate would end up on “Celebrity Rehab,” but we are changing that view. Their eight kids are going to be the ones ending up on that show. Imagine having two nut case parents like Kate and Jon. We can only assume stripper poles and cocaine are only around the corner.

Our suggestion to the kids – see if you can exchange your gift for something better, like getting a tetanus shot.

Assuming Kate’s plans come to fruition, TMZ reports the day will work with Kate making the kids breakfast, then shipping them to school, and Jon could have them after that.

Denise Richards Gets Full Custody of Kids from Charlie Sheen

With all the turmoil in his current marriage with Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen has decided to give full custody of his kids to ex-wife Denise Richards.

Richards and Sheen have two kids, 6 year old Sam and 4 year old Lola. TMZ reports that Richards and Sheen signed this agreement two weeks ago which gives Richards full custody. Prior to this new arrangement, both parents had joint custody.

Richards initially started this process after Charlie was arrested on Christmas Day. Sheen has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault, but the actor’s lawyers are said to be working on a plea deal.

Kate Gosselin’s Kids Are Legal for TLC Reality TV

Kate Gosselin’s new reality TLC show is cleared to go – legally that is. The Department of Labor says the kids of Kate and Jon Gosselin are okay to continue their reality TV careers.

A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor tells TMZ “The proper steps have been taken and the kids are permitted for ‘Kate Plus 8.’”

However no paperwork has been submitted for the kids to appear on “Twist of Kate,” Gosselin’s spinoff. Good thing for the kids because you don’t want to whore yourself out too much like their parents.

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Definitely Getting Divorced

All of the wondering and questions now have been solved. Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren are confirmed to be getting divorced.

A source close to the family tells Us Weekly, “It’s 100 percent happening … It’s going to take a long time to go through. [But] she will go through with it. She is all about being a mom. She will do it slowly and carefully.”

Elin has also moved full stream ahead with the construction of her new house in Sweden. “She is definitely planning on spending a lot of time there — they are gutting it … She and the kids are going to be spending most of the summer there. Without Tiger.”

However Elin will be looking at properties in Florida as well as Tiger will not let the kids leave the U.S. full time, reports PopEater. “No way would Tiger let Elin leave the USA with his children. You can say whatever you want about Tiger as a husband, but he has always been a great father. He knows his marriage is probably over, but he will never give up on those kids. They mean the world to him.”

More signs are pointing to Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren divorcing. Considering she just purchased a $2 Million home in Sweden could be a large indication that she plans to abandon ship. However PopEater reports that there is no way the kids are going with her.

“No way would Tiger let Elin leave the USA with his children. You can say whatever you want about Tiger as a husband, but he has always been a great father,” an insider tells PopEater. “He knows his marriage is probably over, but he will never give up on those kids. They mean the world to him.”

This maybe also an indication why Elin has been looking at houses in Florida. Close enough for Tiger to see the kids, but still lets her live a separate life.

‘Survivor’ Producer Phoned by Judge over Guardianship of Kids

The kids of “Survivor” producer Bruce Beresford-Redman finally have their guardianship issues resolved. Bruce’s parents have been issued guardianship over his children until the mystery over his wife’s murder is resolved.

During the proceedings, the judge actually called Bruce in Mexico to find out who he wanted to care for his children, reports TMZ. Bruce asked for his parents to care for the children and the judge agreed.

Although Monica’s sister, Carla Burgos Van Bastelaar, asked for guardianship and was denied, the judge did authorize “reasonable visits.”

The judge also ordered that the children’s passports be surrendered to the court and that they stay in L.A. County. The passport issue is relevant because Carla — the victim’s sister — is from Brazil.

Bruce has been released from Mexican police but is not allowed to leave the country while the investigation into his wife’s murder is active.

Jesse James’ Kids Staying With Sandra Bullock

TMZ is reporting that Sandra Bullock is currently caring for Jesse James’ three kids.

Sunny, Chandler and Jesse, Jr are all staying with Sandra has her husband deals with his addiction and PR nightmare.

One source very familiar with the situation tells TMZ, “It’s a positive sign about Sandra’s relationship with Jesse.” The source would not elaborate.

However as andPOP reported earlier, Sandra has made it clear that she will not adopt Jesse’s kids once their divorce is finalized.

Jesse James has three kids – Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and 6-year-old Sunny. However Sandra Bullock won’t be looking for custody of his kids, according to E! Online.

“There are no plans, nor have there ever been any plans, for Sandra Bullock to adopt any of Jesse James’ children,” the actress’s publicist says.

Sandra has been active in the lives of Jesse’s kids, especially 6 year old Sunny. Nevertheless she is not seeking any custody rights over the children.

Parent’s Just Don’t Understand… Yet?

Hey Ethel! I killed those Nazi zombies with my, uhh... I killed those Nazis!

Our parents are great, for the most part. When we are too small to defend or feed ourselves, they take care of us. As we grow and mature, they guide and nurture us so that we can become fully functional human beings, and not the equivalent of lower primates, sitting in trees flinging our own crap at each other (thank you Red Forman). But one area where most parents don’t quite have the ability to be the all-knowing influence they would like to be: video games.

When I was growing up playing tag and hide-and-seek, my parents totally understood. They would ask how the game went, where I was hiding, what kind of tag rules I played with – they were very involved, because they could relate my experience to their own. However, when I picked up my first Genesis game, they watched Sonic the Hedgehog like he was an alien from outer space (wait, was he?), shook their heads, and left the room. Thus ended my parent’s ability to fully understand me – from that day forward, there would always be that barrier between us – the invisible yet impassable wall made of 1-ups and gold coins.

But will it always be this way? Should I ever be unfortunate enough to have a pack of small versions of me running around underfoot, will I end up leaving them to their own devices when it comes to electronic entertainment? Or will I be able to enjoy a visit with them to our very own holodeck (wishful thinking, I know) once in a while?

Mastering DDR will never make your kids think you're cool. It may actually hurt that cause.

We know that most parents of the young (18 and under) gaming demographic right now, as well as the parents of my generation, the old guard of gaming (22-30 as of 2009) are lost when it comes to games. This is mostly because games they played when they were young were not video games. Board games and outdoor games were the pastimes of the day. If kids today suddenly picked up jacks or kick the can, their grandparents would be all over it. Any video games that these parents played were arcade games at best – a far cry from the Super Nintendo.

The difference there is that when my generation starts having kids (and some unlucky and/or stupid members already have), what kind of tech-savvy parents will we be? I’m sure that there will be the parents who just don’t get it, and that’s fine. But consider that our generation was the first real generation to have the bridge between adult’s childhood games and their children’s games blown to pieces by the advent of console gaming, leaving them to stare across the gap at their offspring playing games they could barely understand. Believe me when I tell you tag has been around forever. Your parents and their parents never reached an impasse because Grandpa couldn’t understand what was going on in hide-and-seek. So is it so revolutionary that we may be able to relate better to the next generation than our parents could with us? Or were Mom and Dad the exception to the rule?

I think it will be interesting to see whether or not the developing demographic of casual gamers rises to the challenge to understand and appreciate their kids’ new games. It might be depressing and embarrassing to be the guy who has to say to his kid “In my day, we had to play video games with controllers! On TV screens! That’s television, son! And we were thankful!” However, if you sit with the kid after your rant, and see what the new game is for the PS4000, you might just earn his respect. At least until you slip gradually into senility and start cursing at the child while making obscene gestures every time you lose (although a symptom of senility, this is also a symptom of FAIL).

The last time I talked to my mom about video games was actually not that long ago. I asked her (with this article in mind) the last video game she had played besides the ill fated night she tried to play GoldenEye on the N64 with my brothers and I (good night, by the way – she spent 5 straight minutes trying to shoot out a camera with dual RCP90′s – and infinite ammo). She then told me that I should be proud to have a mother who could beat my father at Donkey Kong Jr. at the arcade when they were young lovers. I was blown away! Could this veneer of kindness, smiles and silly voices hide an inner core of gaming prowess that I simply never noticed before? Time for a follow-up question. Say Mom, you played Donkey Kong Jr., so you must remember Pac-Man, right?

Yeah, I know. I laughed too.

Dr. Klein Shoots Down Rumours Of Being The Father Of Michael Jackson’s Children

There have been countless rumours surrounding the paternity of Michael Jackson’s three kids, but one has been shot down. During his appearance on “Good Morning America,” Dr. Arnold Klein addressed the rumour of being the biological father of Jackson’s kids.

“I can’t say anything about it, but, to the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children,” he said to Diane Sawyer. “I can’t answer it in any other way. I don’t want to feed any of this insanity that is going around.”

During his appearance, Klein also insisted he isn’t being investigated in regards to the king of pop’s death.

“I’ve not been examined by anyone. I’ve not been contacted by the police in Los Angeles,” Klein said. “I’ve given him medication, yes, but you could take all the medication I gave him in a year right now, and nothing would happen to you. I don’t want to discuss how I treated him. I didn’t give him this crap that they’re talking about it. I’ve never prescribed Oxycontin in my life. How am I going to prescribe Diprivan when I don’t even know how to use it?”

Britney Teaches Kids’ Dance Class

After what seems like endless breakdowns, Britney Spears is getting her life back on track and sharing her good fortune.

Spears taught a free dance class to eight children aged 4-9 last night, at the Millennium Dance Studio in North Hollywood, reports OK! Magazine.

Though some of the kids were a little too young to know, the extent of Spears’ fame, they were still starstruck. Said one parent of her son’s reaction, “He didn’t really know who Britney was, though he dances to all of her music. So when I told him ‘this is the lady who makes all the songs you like,’ he got very excited.”

Interacting with the kids may be therapeutic for Spears, as she recently lost custody of her two young sons.
