I, like the rest of the internet, am obsessed with cats. I am not currently a cat owner. I used to be, but then my dad gave them away (yes, them) during the first month I was away for university. I’ve been dealing with the heartache since. To cope, I bought the prettiest cat shirt you could ever find, currently lusting after the kitten garden party pants, and am an avid watcher of internet cat videos. Basically, I’m going to die a lonely, crazy cat lady.

Now I just really want a plane ticket to Minneapolis, Minnesota because that’s where The Internet Cat Video Film Festival will take place. Yes, a WHOLE film festival for cat videos. How AMAZING does that sound?

The festival takes place on August 30th, but anyone can nominate their favourite cat videos by July 30th.

We’ve seen our fair share of talented dogs on andPOP but this dog is like the Mozart of canines. He’s able to play the pitch perfect note to mimic the sound his owner makes. I’m just holding out for a duet between him and Keyboard Cat. That would be epic.

This bird knows how to drop a serious beat. I nominate him to be inducted into the animal Hall of Fame, along with other note worthies such as the keyboard cat and the unbelievable singing parrot.
