Kelly Preston is set to join her husband, John Trovolta, in the upcoming film, Gotti: Three Generations. The couple will play on-screen husband and wife John Gotti Sr. and Victoria Gotti, reports E! Online.
“The love and passion between John and Kelly…will bring a huge benefit to John Sr. and his wife, and to tell you the truth, they have a lot in common,” Marc Fiore, the film’s producer, told People. “They both lost a child at a young age and they understand what the Gottis went through when the Gottis lost their child.”
“She’s a terrific actress, and she can really do the role justice,” said Steve Honig, a spokesman for the production company, of Preston.

“For us it’s been uplifting,” Travolta, 56, told Hello! about having a baby. “Especially when he smiles at me and seems contented in my arms. He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose.”
Travolta and Preston have been trying to have another baby for three years. They made the announcement about Preston’s pregnancy through John’s website.
“It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this,” they wrote. “We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella.”

The couple could not be more thrilled. After the death of their son Jett suffered a seizure and died in January of last year at the age of 16, Travolta and Preston went through a serious period of depression. It is unthinkable to lose a child, perhaps the worst thing that could happen to parents. It’s nice to see that the couple is back up on their feet and excited to embrace their new son.
Preston told People.com that her daughter, Ella, was helping her prepare for the arrival of the baby. She is extremely excited to be a big sister.
With all of the rampant celebrity rumors and reports of divorce, it is refreshing to see a celebrity couple who will stand the test of time and think positively even through hardship.
