In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian announced they’re having a baby and a paparazzi was killing while tailing Justin Bieber’s Ferrari.

Kimye is having a baby so I’m hope that the baby’s first outfit is a Louis Vuitton onesie (Comme des Garçon if Kanye is feeling a little avant garde that day) and his name is King Kanye the Almighty (Princess Kim if it’s a girl). Obviously I’m weirdly excited over this because I’m slightly afraid to know what the spawn of Satan the product of two insanely large egos will look like. I ended up doing a little digging and found out Kanye has already storyboarded his baby’s birth. It’s going to look something like this (you are welcome):
MISS: Paparazzi killed while tailing Justin Bieber’s Ferrari
A 29-year-old photographer was killing by a passing car as he was taking photos of Justin Bieber’s white Ferrari in Los Angeles. The car in question was being pulled over by the cops but Bieber was reportedly not in the driver’s seat or even in the vehicle. The Biebs made a statement through his label asking for tougher laws to protect celebrities, police officers, innocent bystanders and photographers. He does have a good point— the paparazzi are known to be incredibly aggressive when it comes to tailing celebrities. Maybe the Biebs can inspire the American Congress to agree on something because they’re too busy arguing about nothing to do anything.
HIT: Jennifer Lawrence creepily stared at Meryl Streep
In another edition of “Celebrities: They’re Just Like Us!,” Jennifer Lawrence confessed to Vanity Fair that instead of introducing herself to Meryl Streep, she just stared creepily at the decorated actress from a far. “Like, for instance, one time someone was introducing me to Bill Maher, and I saw Meryl Streep walk into the room,” she said, “and I literally put my hand right in Bill Maher’s face and said, ‘Not now, Bill!,’ and I just stared at Meryl Streep.”
She also almost shot a home intruder with her bow and arrow.

The trailer for James Cameron’s brilliant masterpiece in 3D, highlights the some of the movie’s most classic scenes. The film was originally released in 1997, and has grossed $600 million to date. 600 Milion!! I don’t know about you all, but seeing one of my favourite 90′s movies in 3D on the big screen might just be the greatest thing that happens next Spring. Okay, not the greatest, but definitely close!

Kate Winslet and Jodie foster have recently signed on to appear in Roman Polanski’s new film, God of Carnage, an adaptation of Yasmina Reza’s Tony-winnin. The film chronicles the story of two sets of parents who meet after their sons are involved in a schoolyard fight. The meeting is goes horrendously as the parents end up criticizing each other’s parenting skills which leads them into exposing their own marital problems. Matt Dillon (There’s Something About Mary) and Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds) have also signed on to play the character’s prospective husbands.
Evidently, Polanski hasn’t let his former allegations of unlawful sexual conduct stop him from winning the Academy Award for The Pianist, and consistently directing revered films. However, Polanski is still unable to set foot in the United States so he has to take the filming elsewhere. God of Carnage, which is set in in Brooklyn will have to be shot in Paris, France.
With a strong Academy Award Winning Cast (Foster, Winslet, Waltz), the film is bound to gain worthy attention and possibly go on to the Oscars. It is an early prediction, but Polanski constantly proves his mastery as a filmmaker from Rosemary’s Baby in 1968 to this year’s Ghost Writer, both of which were met with critical acclaim.
Shooting for God of Carnage begins in February.
British actress Kate Winslet, known for her starring roles in such blockbusters as “Titanic,” ”Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Revolutionary Road,” and “The Reader,” has been voted as having the most desirable celebrity body, reports perezhilton.com.
According to a recent YouGov poll, the stunning star with her post-children body is the number one most desired. Also included on the list are other beauties such as Halle Berry, Cheryl Cole, Beyonce, Megan Fox and Lily Allen.
KATE WINSLET used this year’s Academy Awards to treat her family to an unusual getaway.
The actress, Oscar-nominated for her role in LITTLE CHILDREN, invited husband SAM MENDES, and her two young kids, MIA and JOE, to join her in Hollywood ahead of the annual awards.
She says, “It’s half-term (vacation) for my kids, so it made sense to turn the Oscars into a family holiday.
“We’ve been swimming and done lots of visits to places the kids loved.
“Sam has babysat while I’ve tried on my frock and sorted out what I’m going to wear on the night.”

British actresses Kate Winslet and Billie Piper have spoken out against the overly-thin image of women portrayed so prominently in mainstream media.
Winslet told the BBC over the weekend that she doesn’t even keep magazines in her house, afraid of their potentially damaging influence on her daughter.
“It’s only a matter of time before she becomes aware of it and it frightens the life out of me,” she said. “What I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner.”
Piper, best known for her role on TV’s “Doctor Who,” tells Glamour magazine that her 13-year-old sister already worries about her body-size.
“I think the whole size zero debate is disgusting,” she says. “She loves Posh (former pop star Victoria Beckham) and I say, ‘Come on Ellie, she’s tiny. What’s wrong with (Colombian singer) Shakira? She’s sexy, curvy.’ But she has no interest.”
The comments come after a summer of pressure on the fashion community to promote a healthier image. Ultra-thin models were barred from participating in a Madrid fashion show in September, and officials in Italy are looking to take similar actions.
Despite being the mother of two children already, Kate Winslet tells In Style magazine that she would like to have more children some day.
People magazine reports that the actress isn’t sure how many more kids she wants, but that more children are definitely on the horizon.
“I’m hoping to have more kids. I don’t know whether one or two. Oh, God, I would love to have more,” Winslet, who is the mother of Mia, 6, and Joe, 3, told the magazine.
She also said that Mia has begun to compliment her on her cooking, a compliment she holds dear to her heart.
“To me it was a sort of incredibly triumphant moment, the fact that she observed that I do cook their meals. It’s great when the mum can be the person who represents all of those nurturing things for her kids. My mum was certainly that for me,” she said.
