If you want to stay in something homey for yet another holiday dinner or get together, try a pajama-styled blouse. The sleek spring trend continues to have legs even after all the leaves have fallen.
WTF: Expensive Leather Bear
I really do love Alexander Wang and am very much looking forward to seeing what he will do for french fashion label, Balenciaga. What I don’t love is this leather bear. There’s nothing cuddly about the bear at all, especially the $225 price tag. His sherling chest seems soft enough but please remember how terrible it is trying to sleep on a leather couch—you stick to it and it hurts like hell when you finally get off of it. So no, not cuddly whatsoever. Between this and designer skateboard decks (as a skating fan: blech), it’s safe to say I’m not a huge fan of typical items made luxurious because their over the top price tags are hardly practical. Nice try Wang, but I’m not buying it.
Did a prank go too far?
A nurse who unsuspectingly transferred a prank call from Australian hosts posing as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles has been found dead in what is reportedly a suicide. The nurse has been identified as Jacintha Saldanha.
Saldanha was the first to answer the call on Tuesday as hosts Mel Greig and Michael Christian tried to get information on expectant mother Kate Middleton, who was admitted into the King Edward VII Hospital after suffering from acute morning sickness. Saldanha’s first responses along with those of a second nurse were recorded and broadcast on air.
According to a statement by hospital chairman Lord Glenarthur, he said: “This is a tragic event. Jacintha was a first-class nurse who cared diligently for hundreds of patients during her time with us. She will be greatly missed.”
Prince William and Kate have also issued a statement, expressing how deeply saddened they are to learn of the death.
“Their royal highnesses were looked after so wonderfully well at all times by everybody at King Edward VII Hospital, and their thoughts and prayers are with Jacintha Saldanha’s family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.”
While the Australian Communications and Media Authority are still investigating the case, the radio hosts have since issued apologies and have decided not to return to their radio show until further notice.
“Just on our royal prank call… we were very surprised that our call was put through, we thought we’d be hung up on as soon as they heard our terrible accents,” Christian wrote on his Twitter account. “We’re very sorry if we’ve caused any issues and we’re glad to hear that Kate is doing well.”
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has just been released from the hospital after suffering from a very serious illness called “hyperemesis gravidarum.” With Middleton’s return home, the royal couple has lots to celebrate about, including their obviously amazing news that they will be having a baby. It’s cool, Amanda Bynes, I wouldn’t take Lindsay’s twitter rant too seriously especially after she got arrested for leaving a hit-and-run. Lohan reportedly hit a male pedestrian while driving her Porsche in New York City. She was later charged with a misdemeanor for fleeing but was released soon after. We can easily solve the recent spike in celebrity car accidents by taking away both Bynes’ and Lohan’s license. See, problem solved.

Thanks to Twitter, Chris Zylka pretty much confirmed his break-up with Pretty Little Liars star, Lucy Hale. Zylka tweeted, “”Don’t have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good.” He later apologized and said Hale was “one of the most talented people [he’s] ever know,’ and continued apologizing seven tweets later. No wonder Hale broke up with him. He’s kind of like Charlie on HBO Girls with his smothering love.

MISS: French tabloid ordered to turn in topless Kate Middleton photos
It must be a relief for Prince Harry to not be the only Royal caught without clothes on these days, but it’s becoming a bit of a legal nightmare for the royal family. The royal family’s lawyers recently won their suit against French tabloid, Closer, who now has to stop publishing and hand over the pictures of Kate sunbathing topless in the South of France. The photos were clearly a violation of privacy as Kate and Prince William were staying a secluded chateau. The Royals can’t seem to get a grip on the situation as a fifth publication plans to publish the photos by the end of this week. Poor Kate! She’s such a perfect example of grace, intelligence and beauty! They should just leave her alone!

What she’s wearing: The Modern Family actress showed up to the 6th Annual Power of Youth Event in Los Angeles, California in a floral Zimmermann dress.
Why we love it: The draping on the bottom half takes this floral dress to the next level since it adds a contrasting texture to the look. The draping technique continues to the back of the dress making for a pleasant surprise when Hyland turns around — it goes from sweet floral dress to a total knockout stunner! She paired it with Brian Atwood shoes in a cobalt colour and a matching Kotur clutch that both bring out the blues in the dress.
Takeaway: Pick a floral dress with interesting design elements instead of just basing your choice on the print itself. If you took away the print from this dress and remade it into a solid fabric, the dress would still be hot.

What she’s wearing: The Duchess of Cambridge arrived in the Solomon Islands in a bright geometric Jonathan Saunders dress during her royal tour of Southeast Asia.
Why we love it: If only everybody looked like this while getting off a plane! Then again, there’s usually not a red carpet waiting for you on the tarmac when you get off. We’re suckers for bold geometric prints and this dress has that in spades! Plus it’s in a unique colour combination of aqua, forest-green, and white, which makes it stand out and makes it fun. She accents the look with cream accessories: the heels, the clutch and hat (the Brits sure do love a good hat!).
Takeaway: When wearing bold prints, accessorize with neutral items to minimize the in-your-face quality of the bold print. The neutral accessories will really let the print stand out.

Perhaps she can convince her husband Prince Will to give coloured denim a try too. The crisp white polo keeps this look simple but most importantly shows her support for Team Great Britain. After a public poll to determine whose lips and hair we admire the most, an image of what is called “the ultimate celebrity” was created, probably by someone with way too much time on their hands.
The photo, posted on The Daily Mail UK, shows what one’s face would look like if they have Megan Fox’s eyebrows, Kate Middleton’s hair and obviously Angeline Jolie’s lips. The result is apparently the ultimate object of desire but to who? The Daily Mail says 9,000 people were polled but fail to mention age, sex and class.
One user commented at the source asking a very good question about the chosen celebrities: “why are they all white?” But if you look at the alien woman (and I mean, really look at her face and not her boobs) she does look similar to Kim Kardashian.
Kim Karashian has won the very prestigious award as the “Most Ill Mannered Person of 2011.” She received this award from the National League of Junior Cotillions “for making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage.”
Kim’s 72 day marriage has really caused her a lot of problems. Granted it increased her fame into an even more ridiculous level, but she has also created a lot of hatred for herself by the general public.
Kate Middleton was awarded the title of Best-Mannered Person of 2011 “for the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight.”
That’s no surprise – that’s why she’s a princess.
It looks like royal fever is still burning.
The Daily Mail reports that Kate Middleton’s childhood home, was bought at an auction on Friday for 485,000 pounds, or approximately $796,733 in U.S. dollars.
Quite the hefty sum for 35-year-old schoolteachers Emma Appleby and Tom Wyatt to pay. The couple, who is also expecting their second child in seven weeks, reportedly beat out shipping tycoons and Russian billionaires who were interested in the Bradfield Sutton, England home.
The Daily Mail also reports that the couple won the home at 10,000 pounds below asking price and weren’t interested in the royal history behind the home.
“We had been looking for a property for quite a while when we found this one,” Appleby told the Daily Mail. “The Middleton factor did not influence us at all and we had no idea at first. We were attracted to the lovely village, lovely house, good primary school and being near friends.”
The home itself has four bedrooms and is a semi-detached Victorian style dwelling. It’s red brick walls are still a popular tourist stop for buses doing star tours of “Middleton Country.”
The auctioneer, Dudley Singleton said, “The Middleton family will be glad to know a young family is moving in there are not somebody who just wanted an investment on the back of their name.”
Really, I think the Middleton family will be happier to know their time in Bradfield didn’t cost them almost $800,000.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have reportedly been asked to perform at the royal wedding reception, reports Digital Spy.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to be big fans of the married entertainers and it is reported that the pair have accepted the offer.
“Both William and Kate are massive fans of Beyoncé and Jay-Z,” a source said. “They really wanted to make their big day even more special and what better way than by getting pop royalty to perform at the party?
“Will and Kate will have an official reception for hundreds of dignitaries before throwing a less formal bash for loved-ones. They both wanted to ditch traditions and make it more personal for them.”
Jay-Z and Beyoncé are both in Europe at the moment while she promotes her new single ’Run The World (Girls),’ so maybe this is just a rumour due to the fact that they are in Europe? Or maybe it’s actually true? Who knows, but I find it very difficult to picture the Queen of England doing the Single Ladies dance.
George Michael took to Twitter to announce that he has decided to write a royal tune for the upcoming nuptials of Prince William to Kate Middleton. And who better to ask for help than his fellow tweeters?
“I have been thinking about Will and Kate…. and I’m so happy for William… the whole country is getting ready to party! Let’s have our own celebration twitter style…..
“Instead of Song of the Day, let’s pick a song I can give to you on here sometime this week. I’ll grab my piano player and bob’s your uncle… Wedding gift and bank holiday thank u to my twitter lovelies rolled into one.

After expressing a while later that he had come up with a “beautiful song,” Michael kept tweeting with updates on the song’s progress, and even announced that he had gotten a royal thumbs up for it!
“As it turns out, while I was singing I got a text saying they liked the song…..which is the only green light I cared about! Hooray!!” (He later clarified, “No no, I didn’t get a ROYAL text, I just had a good friend run my choice of song by them. No point in making it if they won’t enjoy it….:).”)
According to Michael, the song will be ready for the world to hear by Friday, tweeting Wednesday morning,“I’m up early because I only have one more day to finish the track if I’m going to give you all the song by Friday!”

British Royal Prince William and his fiancé, Kate Middleton, have decided to skip the garish, expensive honeymoon following their spring wedding. Instead, the pair have opted for a trip to the picturesque but geographically convenient Isles of Scilly just off the coastal town of Penzance.

It’s been said that this vacation choice was not only easier on the royal family’s wallet but also made the security detail surrounding the couple far more manageable. After the recent attack on Charles and Camilla, the last thing the royal family needs is another dangerous breach.
It should be a trip down memory lane for William, who used to vacation in the isles when he was younger with brother Harry and his royal parentals, Charles and Diana.
The couple will wed on April 29th at Westminster Abbey.
