The New Directions pay tribute to Stevie Wonder while Rachel prepares for her Funny Girl callback.
Here’s what you missed on last night’s episode, “Wonder-ful”:
Aren’t They Wonder-ful?
Regionals are only one week away and that means the Glee Club needs some serious inspiration, and who better to turn to than Stevie Wonder? The kids covered his songs for their assignment this week, with Mike and Mercedes on hand to help. If these kids do what they are so clearly capable of doing, they’ll have regionals in the BAG.
The Bitch is Back
“The Bitch” being Cassandra July A.K.A. Kate Hudson as she appeared to want nothing more than to see Rachel fail at her Funny Girl callback. After scheduling her extremely hard ballet midterm the same day as her audition, she did a total 180 and brought the entire class to support Rachel. She said she saw something in her from the beginning and that’s why she’s been so hard on her – plus she only slept with Brody because of his abs. Either this woman has a major personality disorder, or she’s not such a bitch after all (my money’s on the first option).
Big City Fears
Justin Bieber is having a crazy time right now. March started with a wild and shirtless 19th birthday party in London which apparently turned out to be the worst birthday ever, he collapsed on stage, he hit a paparazzo, got dissed by his ex Selena, and then got his pet monkey confiscated! That last one sounds unreal, like when did J-Biebs get a monkey anyway?!
Hopefully the month of April will be a turning point for Justin and it’s already off to a good start with the release of his duel Teen Vogue covers for the magazine’s May issue. Judge which cover you like best.

But Justin isn’t the only celebrity who gets to celebrate scoring a magazine cover. April may have just started but the magazine industry is already busting out its May issues.

So check out who also landed themselves a cover and find out which celeb will rule the newsstand!
While McKinley’s glee club holds auditions to replace all the graduated singers, Rachel deals with a bitchy instructor at NYC, played by the ever-fabulous Kate Hudson.
Here’s what you need to know from last night’s episode, “The New Rachel.”
1. Glee Club is now cool: Since New Directions won the championship last year, all the students that previously mocked them and cruelly threw red slushies in in their faces basically want to be buddy buddy because hey, glee club is now for winners. Unfortunately, now that the ND’s members are hip enough to hang with the Cheerios, they’re also developing major attitude issues. Luckily the Cheerios realize the glee club is too losery cool for them and social order is restored.
2. Everyone wants to be the new Rachel: Now that Rachel’s left to get her ass kicked in NYC, everyone wants to take her place as the lead singer. The previously shy Tina is now a major diva and wants to be lead vocalist in glee. Unfortunately she’s got some competition in cross dresser Wade and I’m predicting a fierce diva battle. There are too many egos in this group.
3. We have two new stars: Puck’s younger half-brother is our new badboy, immediately causing trouble by lashing out at his audition. He’s going to be our new eye candy while Marley is our new sweetheart. She’s our relatable everyday girl who doesn’t have a lot of money but has a killer voice. Her mom secretly works in the cafeteria and all the students make fun of her. Marley grapples with familial insecurities, which we can all relate too.
4. Rachel’s no longer the lead cookie: Read more…
We all knew attention-whore Rachel would end up lost when she started studying at NYC’s Nyada. That’s what happens to big fish in little ponds — once they move to the ocean there’s way more competition. I was expecting the Fame-esque storyline from Glee and the promo confirms they’re going in this direction, but the new season looks 10 times better than I thought it would be because Kate freaking Hudson plays a witch of a Dance 101 instructor at the academy.
While the freshman dance in leotards around her, she confidently struts across the classroom pointing out their flaws and encouraging them to embrace body dysmorphia. It looks like she’s not a fan of her students, especially Rachel, who she insists has a stuck up attitude.
It’s true though! Rachel is pretty stuck up and if there’s one thing I want from her this season, it’s to be torn apart and built back up again as a less annoying prototype of herself.
Watch the promo for season 4 here:
It’s baby season! Kate Hundson and her fiance Matthew Bellamy welcomed home a healthy baby boy on Saturday in Los Angeles according to People.
The 32-year-old actress didn’t want to know the sex of her unborn baby, but had a hunch that it was going to be a girl. Turns out she was wrong.
This is Bellamy’s first child, but Hudson’s second. She has a 7 1/2-year-old son, Ryder Russell, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson.
Hudson and Bellamy got engaged in April after they announce Hudson’s pregnancy in January.
I think we can expect wedding bells real soon now that the baby is born.
You know that scene in “The Other Guys” when Mark Wahlberg goes to Will Ferrell’s house and sees that he’s married to Eva Mendes, and cant effin believe it? “No seriously, who is that? Why are you married to him?”
Similar situation here.
E Online is reporting that lead singer of The Muse, the eccentric Matthew Bellamy, is having a child with the beautiful, bubbly Kate Hudson. Kate already has a son with Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and is continuing her trend of having children with terribly ugly men. Hopefully I’m next.
Bellamy and Hudson got together last year and officially announced their relationship to the world when some public kanoodling was seen at a Muse show in Paris last July. Jealoussss.
Kate Hudson has joined the Weinstein’s film adaptation of the musical “Nine,” reports Cinematical.com.
Hudson rounds out and incredible all-star cast, including last year’s Oscar darlings Daniel Day-Lewis and Marion Cotillard, as well as Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Penélope Cruz and Nicole Kidman.
The play is about a director (Day-Lewis) going through a mid-life crisis following his biggest career success and becoming entangled romantically with several women.
“Nine” debuted on Broadway in 1982 and played 729 performances.
Kate Hudson has moved on from Owen Wilson and is now smooching with his friend, Lance Armstrong.
The new “couple” were seen kissing and dancing to old Madonna songs and other ‘80s favourites at the Dolce & Gabbana annual party in Cannes Friday.
“They were beaming at each other,” a source tells “People” magazine.
Kate Hudson is said to have met Armstrong through Wilson – who is apparently good friends with the seven-time Tour de France winner.
The pair has also been spotted having dinner and, last week, the two were together at Kid Rock’s Madison Square Garden after-party gig.
On-again, off-again couple Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have split again—less than two months after rekindling their romance in Miami.
A friend of Wilson’s says the break-up was not amicable: “It was a pretty bad break-up,” says the friend. “Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn’t want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him.”
Just last week, rumours circulated that the couple was engaged but Hudson’s rep was quick to deny the claims. Although the couple has had a rocky relationship, Hudson has always admitted to caring for Owen and has previously said: “Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly. I wish him beautiful things – health and everything that he desires in life.” The pair’s last split in June was said to have caused Owen’s suicide attempt in August.
The pair began dating after meeting on the set of the romantic comedy “You, Me and Dupree.”
Want to make out with Kate Hudson? Well, she’d love to. But her son may be in your way.
Hudson told the UK Sunday Times that she wants to “find that 18-year-old in me again, who was way more adventurous when it came to kissing boys. I would love nothing more than to have a good, honest make out sesh, but I find it really hard because I’m a mom.”
Hudson also said that she wants to have more children. “I can’t wait to have more. I’m at that place when I’m ready to have another one and Chris [Robinson, her ex-husband] and I are not together. I’m like, ‘Oh no! Uh-oh! I’m ready.’ ”
For the moment it appears that Hudson is back together with beau Owen Wilson.
Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson are definitely back together.
People magazine reports that the blonde lovers spent Easter weekend in Miami together with Hudson’s son, Ryder.
The couple took Ryder and another young boy out for a holiday bike ride. “They looked like a family on an afternoon outing, taking advantage of the balmy weather and doing some errands,” an eyewitness told the magazine.
This is a further implication that Wilson is getting back on his feet after attempting suicide in August. He began filming “Marley & Me” yesterday.
Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, stars of the upcoming movie “Fool’s Gold,” will drop by MuchMusic headquarters in downtown Toronto for a special Live@Much on Feb. 6.
The Q&A session starts at 6 p.m. ET and will be hosted by VJ Leah Miller.
The two actors will answer questions via audience, email, phone and text message.
Fans can watch MOD on Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. ET to win wristbands to the event.
Fool’s Gold is scheduled to hit theatres Feb. 8. McConaughey and Hudson play a married couple who search for lost treasure and rekindle their romance in the process.
McCounaughey and Hudson previously starred together in 2003′s “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.”
With Kate Hudson’s talent, success, and stunningly good looks, it was a surprise when she married grungy rocker Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes nearly six years ago.
When the couple announced their separation in August, it was news, but it was definitely not as shocking as Robinson filing for divorce from Hudson on Friday. One would have expected it to be the other way around.
Robinson cited irreconcilable differences in the Superior Court filing, and seeks shared custody of he and his wife’s song, two-year-old Ryder Russell Robinson.
Hudson, 27, is the daughter of Goldie Hawn. She was nominated for an Oscar in her supporting role as Penny Lane in 2000′s “Almost Famous.”
Robinson, 39, fronts the Black Crowes. They have a new studio album due next year.
Actress Kate Hudson will not appear at the UK premiere of her new movie “You, Me and Dupree.”
Hudson, 27, was supposed to appear tonight at the event in Leicester Square, but cancelled last minute because of her recent divorce from singer Chris Robinson, 39.
“The present circumstances prevented Miss Hudson from attending the European premiere of You, Me and Dupree this week. She regrets that she is unable to make the trip to London at this time,” said a spokesperson for the film, reports The Daily Mail.
After being married for six years, Hudson and Robinson split last week. They have one son Ryder, 2.
Hudson’s representative confirmed the separation but did not elaborate on the details.
While she tries to stay out of the spotlight, rumours are flying around that her absence from the premiere is to prevent further stories of her being romantically linked to her co-star Owen Wilson.
“Miss Hudson does not want to fuel the problem. She feels that if she and Owen are in London on the red carpet together and she is photographed out partying with him, it will only add weight to the scurrilous reports linking them,” said a film industry source.
Actress Kate Hudson and her husband, singer Chris Robinsion, are separating after six years of marriage.
Reuters reports that Hudson’s pulicist, Brad Cafarelli, confirmed the news but released no other details. A spokesperson for Robinson said he had no comment on the report.
Hudson and Robinson married on New Year’s Eve in 2000. They have one child together, 2-year-old son Ryder.
The 27-year-old actress is the daughter of fellow Hollywood star Goldie Hawn. Her film credits include 2000′s “Almost Famous, and more recently, this year’s “You, Me and Dupree.”
Robinson, 29, is the singer for rock band The Black Crowes, whose hits include “Hard to Handle” and “She Talks to Angels.”
Kate Hudson has won her libel suit against the UK Enquirer after the magazine printed a photo making the actress look too thin. The accompanying article claimed Hudson’s mother, actress Goldie Hawn, wanted her to eat more.
According to Reuters, lawyer Simon Smith told Britain’s High Court that the photos implied his client had “recklessly and foolishly endangered her health by deliberately starving herself.”
Smith also claimed that the magazine printed other pictures of Hudson in the preceeding and proceeding weeks and described her as appearing “stunning” and “great.”
Smith also responded to the claim that Hawn urged her daughter to change her eating habits.
“Ms. Hawn has explained to me that she has never had any concerns about her daughter’s appearance whatsoever and that she has always appeared to be very healthy and happy,” he said.
The magazine has agreed to print a public apology to Hudson and pay her an undisclosed amount of cash.
