When I was ambushed this morning with yet another sickening “Jon and Kate” story, I asked for the first time:  ”Who the hell is taking care of their eight children?” For the past month, these two have been the subject of constant interviews and “celebrity” sightings, but I never see their kids with them.

Yet Kate Gosselin claimed that she did it all for the kids, but it’s clearly not the case. Several testimonies from sources close to the family, including her estranged husband Jon, reported that the show was having a negative affect on the children. The layers of bullshit continue to pile on.

Gosselin’s tortured desperation for attention has shoved her entire family into the wrong spotlight. Along with the Balloon Boy fiasco, they’ve set an example for prostituting their children – and dignity – for the opportunity at fame and wealth.

Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus Eight appeared on Today, fighting back tears as she explained she can no longer pay her bills after her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jon, took $230,000 from their joint bank account, reports TMZ.

“You’ve left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head,” she said. “It’s unacceptable.”

Jon has claimed the children no longer want to do the reality show, but Kate said there was “wailing and sobbing” when she told them production had been stopped.

Kate’s lawyers are heading to court to demand Jon return the money.

The release of Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin’s upcoming cookbook has been postponed by its publisher, according to Perez Hilton. Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories was originally scheduled for release in November, but a new release date has not yet been set.

The publication is filled with recipes, organic eating tips, and “meaningful mealtime blessings,” and promises “an inside look at one of America’s most close-knit families.”

This is the third book Gosselin, who is currently in the midst of a very public divorce from husband Jon, has released with Christian publisher Zondervan. Her previous two works – Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets and Eight Little Faces - were both bestsellers.
