The 54th Grammys are on tomorrow night and is hosted by none-other than hip-hop legend LL Cool J – and if you can’t be there, might as well stalk those who are via Twitter.

Our friends over at CHARTattack posted the new video this morning saying:

If you missed the Watch the Throne tour and its now-legendary encore, the hyperkinetic video documents one of the several times that the song is played during the end of the show, except with more CGI leopards and kaleidoscope effects. It’s directed by Kanye, so you can expect to feel poor as hell after watching.”

If you were lucky enough to see them live, you probably heard this song more than once. Like the concert, you’ll probably want to replay this video thirteen times.

Side note: it was nice to see Will Ferrel make an appearance in the video.

Last night, Kanye West went on a Twitter binge. He tweeted 86 times in just three hours. That’s  one tweet every one and a half minutes.

Because Kanye announced on Twitter he’ll be starting up a design company called DONDA (named after his late mother), Jimmy Kimmel poked up at the idea on his late night talk show.

“Kanye’s spreading himself too thin. He barely has time to interrupt award shows now,” Kimmel joked.

The producers for Kimmel’s show put together a commercial for DONDA, using some of Kanye’s best tweets. One of them includes my personal favourite: “My favourite unit of measurement is “a shitload”.

Even since repeatedly pestering that poor DJ to  turn the record up in 2005, Robyn Rihanna Fenty has been a chart-topping powerhouse representative of Def Jam Records. With her collaborations dominating the charts as of late, it seems that the recipe to Billboard success is a Rihanna hook. After all, she has the most digital number-one hits with eleven and counting.

That’s more number-one’s than Stevie Wonder or Janet Jackson. That’s two away from Michael Jackson and nine away from the untouchable Beatles. Are we talking quantity, not quality? It’s up for debate. How does she compare to the Gaga’s, Perry’s and Beyonce’s?

Turn on the radio. Open a music magazine. And if they’re on a break from their teen-preganancy programming, watch MTV. From Maroon 5 to Eminem to Coldplay to Lonely Island, there is that familiar sultry croon of the official ambassador of youth and culture for Barbados. She is considerably the most-featured female singer of this millennium. She’s no Fitzgerald, or Goulding for that matter, but it’s either she has a remarkable talent or impeccable timing. OK, maybe Jay-Z has a little something to do with it.

Going back to 2008, she was featured on two of the biggest songs of the year: Maroon5′s  “If I Ever See Your Face Again” and T.I.’s redemption-song  “Live Your Life.” Two opposing ends of the musical spectrum that equally delivered as hits in their respective genres.

Recently, her collaborations haven’t slowed down, they’ve been unescapable on the pop-charts. She duels with Nicki Minaj, harmonizes on Kanye’s  “All of the Lights”and even trades verses with Chris Martin in Coldplay’s  “Princess of China” In response to his appearance on  “What’s My Name?”, Rihanna flourishes in the role of a wounded-love on the  title track of Drake’s upcoming Take Care EP.

Her solo success should not be ignored. In Billboard’s 53-year-history, Rihanna is in a third-place tie with the legendary Whitney Houston for most chart-toppers, behind Mariah Carey and Madonna. That’s a fine line between jaw-dropping and head-scratching. She was also named Digital Song Artist of the Decade in 2009, passing Mr. West, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.

In a recent study, the most popular videos on YouTube are unsurprisingly, music videos that occupy an incredible 86% of the top 60 most-viewed. What’s even more mind-boggling is that a trifecta of pop-artists total a 25% of those 60 videos: Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. Bieber impregnates the rest of the pack with 1.664 billion views. Mother Monster rolls in with 842 million views and Rihanna clocks in with 715 million views.

With her new album Talk That Talk on the horizon (due out November 21), critical pop-singles are expected to stampede the airwaves. She took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm that her mentor would appear on the title track: “Yes sir! Jigga man is on the title track #TTT.” What a clubhouse that must be, with Kanye and Jay meeting their female counterparts of Beyonce and Rihanna for an afternoon picnic.

Hova and Ri-Ri previously collaborated on her mega-hit “Umbrella” and he featured her on that Blueprint 3 power-house single, “Run This Town.”

She’s definitely beating Chris Brown’s success to death.

Jay-Z and Kanye have been playing this song up to 11 times per concert on the ‘Watch The Throne” tour and this enthusiastic fan proves it might be the best song ever.

What’s most shocking about this video is just how loud the man is actually rapping. He’s rapping at a volume that suggests he legitimately thinks that he is performing for 20,000 people at The Staples Centre.

There’s no news of what he ordered for dinner that night, however, I’m willing to speculate it was the ‘fish fillet.’

She may have the same intelligence and talent as a Kardashian, but at least she’s funnier to have on Twitter. This comedy writer doesn’t have the same amount of followers as Kanye or even Kim Kardashian but we’re hoping more people follow him after this post. Rob always goes for the glory, especially with “Just found out my wife’s first husband also called 911 on her for farting.” His other funny tweets are more rated R.

We all jumped for joy when our favourite late night talk show host joined the Twitterverse. He may have 4 million followers around the world, but he’s only following one lucky fan back. Her name is Sarah Slowick and we’re incredibly jealous.

Having Kanye on Twitter is a Christmas gift all in itself, but the other day, he took time out from the Watch the Throne tour to let his 5 million followers know what he wants for the holidays.

The first is an old man scarf set.

He also requests a book called “Irreverent” by Carine Roitfeld.

And here, I have a hard time deciding if it’s the model or hte red blazer that he wants under his tree this year.

So, if anyone has the money and/or the time (as if he can’t buy this crap himself) to give these gifts for Mr. West, I’m sure he’d greatly appreciate it.

You know him as the swagger parks department admin. Tom Haverford on the hit NBC show “Parks and Recreation”. Aziz Ansari has slowly become one of our most beloved funny men.

Aziz, who makes a cameo on Jay-Z and Kanye’s video for “Otis”, hooked up with his buddy Matthew Shawver to retell the rap duo’s song “N****s in Paris* using their iPhone emoticons. It’s incredibly clever and creative as it feeds more into the hysteria that is surrounding Jay and Kanye’s “Watch the Throne” album.

It’s incredibly morbid to imagine what would happen if Kanye West would pass away. But, because Kanye is a classic narcissist, he’s already planning his dream funeral.

The Huffington Post says Kanye wants world leaders to show up at his final party.

“I wanna have world leaders that were, like, affected, that said, you know, ‘Kanye gave me my shot here.’ Or ‘he pushed me,’ or ‘he told me to believe in myself,’ or ‘when I saw this, it made me feel like that.’ I wanna affect people like that when I, like, pass away.”

We all know how Kanye feels about one world leader in particular. Remember when he claimed then-president George Bush “doesn’t care about black people”? Can’t imagine Bush showing to give his condolences.

Kanye has definitely changed the rap industry and defied rap stereotypes since he released his first hit single. But when it comes to political power, Kanye doesn’t have much. He can barely run a successful clothing line, so how can he run a state or an entire country? I’m sure Stephen Harper and Nicolas Sarkozy have a few Kanye tunes on their iPods but I’m also more sure of the fact they probably have more important things to do than attend a rap star’s funeral.

Over 100 million people watch the Superbowl every year and when it comes to the lingerie of superbowls, over ten million people tune in to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Last night’s show raked in the highest ratings since 2002, the Hollywood Reporter says. The show certainly got some help from the hottest rappers around the most expensive bra ever (Miranda Kerr rocked a $2.5 million dollar bra).

Jay-Z and Kanye performed “N*ggas in Paris” while a a pregnant Beyonce got to throw her diamond-filled hands in the air, waving them around like she just didn’t care. Check out the video below.

Nicki Minaj brightened up the stage by popping by to sing “Super Bass”.

Last but not least, Maroon 5 performed “Moves Like Jagger” without Christina Aguilera. Justin’s a busy guy. From recording a Christmas album to allegedly impregnating a 20-year-old girl, he still manages to find the time to rap.

At the risk of inflating his ego even bigger bigger, I have to say this ‘lil dude has mad skill. On Power 106 FM he performed an original rap to the tune of Ottis by Jay-Z and Kanye West.

As radio DJs and fans hooted and hollered, Justin claimed “I’m not done! I’m not done!” and continued to kock our socks off. There have been rumours swirling of him collaborating with Lil Wayne and now more than ever I wish it were true.

NME reported that during a radio interview, Justin Bieber has revealed details about his upcoming album, Believe.

Justin said: ‘”I’m working with a lot of cool people. I’m working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me, and a lot of different artists.”

Everyone wants a piece of the Beebs, including rap artist Tyler the Creator who admitted that if he ever worked with the teen singer, he’d be starstruck.

Another rapper, Lil Wayne once said Justin was texting him all night about collaborating. Lil Wayne rejected the offer, claiming he didn’t want to mess Justin up.

Sounds like Justin, who’s turning 18 next year, wants to rebrand himself as a mature, bad-ass artist. He may even want to take a stab at rapping, now that he’ll be in the company of high-profile rappers like Kanye.

It’s hard to picture Justin Bieber turning into a tough baller. Before we know it, he’ll be smoking weed, getting gold grills and slappin’ girls asses in his next video. Hold on to your young, Justin. We like you when you’re cute and innocent.

There seems to be a little bad blood between Amber Rose and Kanye. Amber badmouthed Kanye’s release Watch The Throne, and also took a jab at Kanye’s dick.

Amber Rose tweeted, “Congrats to @TheGame for having the number 1 album. Watch The Throne is as wack as Kanye’s Di*k anyway.”

As insulting at that might be, we don’t think Jay-Z or Kanye are going to be losing any sleep.

Lil’ Wayne and Jay-Z are in a pretty bad fight. Wayne has some lyrics on his new album about kidnapping and raping Jay’s wife. It was in response to some lyrics Kanye wrote about Wayne.

Drake however is staying out of the fight, although he’s on Wayne’s album.

“I just got a beat and did a verse over it,” he said. “Whatever any other individual has to say, you have to ask the man himself. I just did what I know how to do.

“I just got on a record. I heard the beat, did a verse and heard the final product…At the end of the day, rap is an individual art. You express yourself and whatever you wanna say, you say it, so I guess that’s a question for Wayne more than me.”

Drake is a such a Canadian kid – he’s staying out of the fight and hoping everyone can get along.

Kanye West is paying tribute to Amy Winehouse by recording a cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” reports the Daily Mirror.  A source says Kanye is working on the track now, and hopes to debut it in London next month.

“It’s pretty emotive,” the source said. “It’s Kanye singing from the heart — with synthesisers.”

West paid tribute to Winehouse, who died in July, by playing her songs “Tears Dry on Their Own” and “Back to Black” at the Big Chill festival.

Kanye West hit the stage in Gothenburg, Sweden where he was joined by a special guest. Prince surprisingly joined the rapper and they performed together.

Kanye told the crowd, “Everybody put your hands in the sky right now. Say hell yeah!”

It’s been a good couple of weeks for Kanye. His album with Jay-Z broke the U.S. iTunes Store’s one-week sales record when it sold nearly 290,000 downloads!

Does this mean we forgive Kanye for the Taylor Swift incident and he is now cool again?

Kanye West does it again. He manages to say something so inappropriate and delusional.

Kanye performed at the Big Chill music festival Saturday night in England. During his performance, he compared himself to Hitler and Michael Jordan.

“I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I’m f**king insane … like I’m Hitler.”

He continued, “One day the light will shine through and one day people will understand everything I ever did.”

He later said he needed to be the Michael Jordan of music. ”Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball, he took his power to make a difference. It’s so much f**king going on in music right now and somebody has to make a f**king difference.”

We have no comment regarding Kanye’s little rant. What he said speaks for itself.

If you’re Jewish, you may be able to get Drake to appear at your festivities!

Former NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker reportedly shelled out $250,000 to throw a bar mitzvah for his son Andrew on Saturday night. And with that money, he was able to get rap sensation Drake to perform at the party.

Zucker originally wanted to hire Kanye West to perform, but after learning that the rapper’s fee would total $1 million, he opted for Drake.

The event, which took place at the Four Seasons New York, included a performance by rapper Drake and also featured a photo booth, bracelet-making lounge and station to make customized phone covers. Customized Converse sneakers were handed out to guests as gifts. Sounds like a sweet party to me. Especially the free shoes part.

Among those in attendance were Katie Couric, who previously worked with Zucker on NBC’s Today and is now developing a syndicated talk show with him.

Wow, guess Drake is still pretty humble to appear at such a low-profile party for such a low cost. Sure, it’s still a lot of money, but compared to other artist’s fees that seems pretty reasonable.
