Selena Gomez has apparently been suffering from malnourishment and exhaustion, reports CTV.
The singer and actress, who lately has been ill and receiving tremendous support from fans, was hospitalized on Friday when she fell ill with nausea and a severe headaches.
“I was very malnourished. I was dehydrated and very low on iron and exhausted. So, I just gotta take care of myself,” Gomez says.
The 18-year-old has missed promotions of her new film ‘Monte Carlo’ in Santa Monica, California, and although disappointed, she is ready to head back to work.
“I’m doing great, much better. I was very disappointed I couldn’t be here, but I’m here now,” she tells Access Hollywood.
Gomez has been dating 17-year-old pop star Justin Bieber since the beginning of this year, and Bieber recently tweeted his support for the star, saying ”getwellselena.”
Glad she’s back on track and ready to go. She has to host the MMVAs in five days, so she needs to be in tip top shape!

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were involved in a high-speed car chase last week, reports Canoe Jam.
While Bieber was back in his hometown of Stratford, Ont., the pop star and his girlfriend, Gomez, apparently allowed his bodyguard, Kenny Hamilton, to drive recklessly through the streets of his hometown to avoid pursuing paparazzi.
The vehicle, a charcoal-coloured SUV, is said to have blown through red lights and speeded well above the legal limit.
The paparazzi were apparently tipped on Bieber’s whereabouts after fans tweeted that they say him at his grandfather’s house. A crowd then grew outside the home and three Toronto paparazzi were on site.
John White, celeb photographer, says: “Did I miss some shots because of my call not to follow? Yes, but I didn’t put anyone at risk either,” White said. “Really … putting people’s lives at risk just to avoid being photographed?”
I understand that the paparazzi can be annoying, but it’s not any better to risk the lives of everyone else around you. Then again, though, I don’t know what it’s like to be famous.

At last, there is one thing that Oprah is not dominating! It seems as though Shakira bumped Oprah off the Twitter top 10 list this week.
Here’s the list:
Lady Gaga (10,307,549 followers)
Justin Bieber (9,849,628)
Barack Obama (8,169,294)
Britney Spears (7,940,896)
Kim Kardashian (7,578,928)
Katy Perry (7,451,618)
Ashton Kutcher (6,803,738)
Ellen DeGeneres (6,712,058)
Taylor Swift (6,475,026)
Shakira (6,156,469)
Oprah Winfrey came in at 11th with 5,856,790 followers.
You’d think with all the attention surrounding her final shows that Oprah would climb in followers. Maybe her demographic isn’t vested in the twitter world, though. Most of her fans are older woman, so I’ll give her some slack. Well, congrads to Shakira for beating out Oprah – doesn’t happen very often.
First nail polish…and now perfume?
Looks like Beliebers will have something else to fawn over with the release of Justin Bieber’s new ad for Someday.his new perfume.
The commercial features a female spraying on the perfume while Bieber sniffs her neck repeatedly as he apparently finds the smell so irresistible. Soon after, the two defy gravity as they float around in the air together.
According to a press release by Zimbio, “Justin created Someday to give fans a personal invitation and intimate access to his heart.”
“It’s a fragrance he can’t get enough of and can’t stay away from, making those who wear it irresistible.”
The perfume will sell for $55 and is said to have a “sweet, fruity” scent.
According to the New York Daily News, it could earn the 17-year-old singer as much as $30 million.
Looks like the little boy he was once was is growing up into a man!! Tacky commercial or not, it is kind of nice to see the Biebs developing into a little business man. And as tacky as the commercial may be, I’m sure Beliebers everywhere are going to go crazy trying to get their hands on this!
But on another note, I wonder how Selena Gomez feels about him sniffing another girl’s neck
Watch the commercial here.

- Justin Bieber Tax Software
- Justin Bieber Snow Tires
Check out a recent interview we did with Bieber:
The men and women of Forbes’ annual Celebrity 100 list have been revealed, and Lady Gaga, Oprah, and Justin Bieber are just a few who made the top ten.
The list of celebs, which highlights the most powerful people in the entertainment business, earned $4.5 billion collectively over the last 12 months by starring in films, making music, modelling clothes or playing sports.
Lady Gaga took the No. 1 spot this year, beating Oprah Winfrey who came in at No 2. Oprah’s only given up the No. 1 spot three times in seven years.
Gaga made the top of the list because of the $90 million she earned with her monster tour, and her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers. She also generated 1 million digital downloads of her recent single ‘Born This Way’ in only five days.
Oprah earned $290 million last year, earning big from her syndicated show and the stars she’s spawned, including Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray and Dr. Oz. She is now starting her own networnk OWN, so no wonder she’s still deemed powerful.
Canadian-born Justin Bieber came in at No. 3, debuting on the list at the young age of 17 with $53 million earned over the last 12 months. This major profit is thanks to concerts, music sales and a 3-D documentary movie that grossed $100 million at the global box office. He can thank teenage girls for this.
Surprising stars that made the list include reality TV star Bethenny Frankel at 42nd place and Tiger Woods at No. 10, despite his recent love scandals. Notable absentees include Britney Spears, who ranked sixth in 2010, and Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe, who ranked 82nd last year.
Justin Bieber proved how much of a trooper he is at his concert in Manila on May 10. According to Gossip Cop, Bieber had to head backstage a few times throughout the show and throw up. However, Bieber didn’t allow his sickness to stop him from finishing the show, completing the 90-minute set.
“Sick as a dog…but the show must go on. got called a trooper. Lol,” tweeted Bieber just before the show. After completing the set, Bieber followed up with the tweet, “That show was great but tough. real sick. time to rest. #muchlove#wegohard.” And a trooper he is! It’s pretty impressive how dedicated the Biebs is to never cancelling a show – we saw how much it tore him up in his concert documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (out on DVD May 13) when he was forced to cancel a show due to a throat infection.
“Even when im sick feels good to come on here and see the love. gonna rest up and hope to get better. ITHANKYOU,” Bieber tweeted to his fans later that night.
With his My World Tour coming to an end on May 19, in Tokyo, Bieber has been busy working on a few other projects – like the much anticipated music video for “Next to You” off Chris Brown’s album, F.A.M.E., featuring none other than Bieber himself. The video was confirmed by Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, on Twitter, saying, ““#Next2You w/ @justinbieber and @chrisbrown – video treatment is crazy … yeah it’s coming!!” Can’t wait to see what those two come up with!
As well, Beliebers will be tuning into America’s Best Dance Crew on May 12, when the show gets Bieberfied, where Bieber will be sending his love via webcam.
So much Bieber, so little time!

If you recall Justin Bieber was recently on an episode of “CSI,” but one cast member does not recall his visit to the show as favorable.
Marg Helgenberger who plays Catherine Willows on “CSI” told French radio that Justin ”was kind of a brat.” According to Helgenberger, Bieber locked a producer in a closet and put his fist through a cake.
You can listen to the entire interview at TMZ.
Selena Gomez opened up to Seventeen Magazine recently about her life, and much of the conversation focused on her relationship with Justin Bieber.
The young couple has kept their relationship under wraps until the Oscars, when they stepped out to afterparties together in coordinating red-and-black outfits.
“I don’t like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m eighteen, and I’m going to fall in love. I’m going to hang out with people, and I’m going to explore myself, and I’m okay with that.”
But is Gomez in love with Justin, or is it just Bieber Fever?
“I think as I’m getting older and having more in-depth relationships, maybe I’ll experience it [love.] At the moment, I don’t know, exactly, if I’ve been in love.”
Rumors have been circulating for a few days that Justin Bieber would be canceling his show in Australia because of a back injury, but Bieber doesn’t disappoint his fans. Bieber lived up to his commitment and tore the house down with Chris Brown.
“I don’t cancel … In route to Sydney!! THE SHOW IS ON!! I don’t let my fans down! LEGGO!! #myworldtour,” he wrote on Twitter before the gig. “Sydney … Leggo! #myworldtour”
Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted a picture of the two performing, writing, “Look At Them Now! @justinbieber and @chrisbrown 2nite in SYDNEY … KILL’T IT!”
The Daily Telegraph reports that the show was beyond belief. “By the time the countdown clock announced the arrival of the 17-year-old superstar, you would have thought these over-excited, sugar-fueled kids would be ready to relax and enjoy the show,” the review noted. “Nope, they blew the decibel reader into the red — reaching 110 decibels between songs — the equivalent of a chainsaw. Ear plugs were a matter of survival.”
Gossip Cop has announced that Justin Bieber and Mark Wahlberg will be working together on an upcoming Paramount Pictures street basketball movie, which is said to be “a gritty basketball-based drama with a “The Color of Money meets The Karate Kid” tone.”
Apparently, Bieber impressed Wahlberg with his b-ball skills at the celebrity game during NBA All-Star Weekend, where Bieber was named MVP. The film, which is of yet sill untitled, will be produced by Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, and Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, and the script will be written by Ian Edelmen, according to Deadline.
This definitely sounds like it has a lot of potential to be a great film! Keeping in mind that Bieber’s documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never grossed $97 million worldwide, while Wahlberg’s Oscar-winning The Fighter which has been praised far and wide.
Rewind a number of years to when Wahlberg first made his transition from his funky bunch to serious actor, starring in a few projects including The Basketball Diaries, where he co-starred with Leonardo DiCaprio. Think that this basketball movie can do the same for Bieber’s career? It’s hard to say, but it will definitely be interesting to see where Bieber’s acting career can go! No doubt that his ever-reliable Belieber minions will fill theatres everywhere just to catch a glimpse of the Biebs on the big screen, but what would be interesting is who else joins them.
The film is expected to be officially announced shortly, but for now you can check out Bieber’s MVP-worthy hoop skills below.
Do you think a basketball movie will be able to launch Bieber’s acting career as it did Wahlberg?
Chris Brown could definitely use a boost on his Australian tour, and Justin Bieber might be his lucky charm. Bieber is performing this week in Australia, and he sent out a Tweet saying for everyone to expect a surprise, along with a video link to him performing with Chris.
Chris Brown could certainly use the help from Bieber considering ticket sales have been going poorly for the tour. They have been so bad that apparently promoters haven’t been able to even give them away.
Bieber to the rescue!
Stratford, Ontario native Justin Bieber has cracked another milestone – 9 million followers on Twitter. Bieber joins Lady Gaga as the two most followed microbloggers in the world.
“9 MILLION!!! I LOVE YOU PEOPLE!!!” tweeted Justin Bieber (@justinbieber), following with a post that read “WOOOHOOOO…BIEBER GONE WILD!!!!”
“@justinbieber, remember when you only lived in that small town of 32,000? now you have #9millionbeliebers… crazy right? #dreambig,” tweeted one of Bieber’s fans using the “#9millionbeliebers” hashtag.
Good for the Biebs. Now the question is – can he hit 10 million?
Justin Bieber is generally not one who shies away from photographers, but even the Biebs has his limit. While on tour in Israel, Bieber took to Twitter to express his frustration with the paparazzi taking photos of him while visiting holy places.
“Staying in the hotel for the rest of the week u happy?” he wrote. “People wait their whole lives for opportunities like this, why would they want to take that experience away from someone. They should be ashamed of themselves. Take pictures of me eating but not in a place of prayer, ridiculous.”
Justin was particularly upset that he would be followed into spiritual places. “You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places,” he explained. “All I wanted was the chance to walk where Jesus did here in Israel.”
Just one day before, Bieber tweeted about his excitement over being in Israel. “Just amazing place…not a bad day. just wish got a little more space and privacy from the paps to enjoy this time with my family. Thanks,” he wrote. “I’m in the holy land and i am grateful for that. I just want to have the same personal experience that others have here.”
The Biebs is probably right, however what does he expect? He’s the biggest pop star in the world, and just because he may be walking where Jesus walked, people are still going to snap photos. Sorry Justin, that’s unfortunately the cost of doing business.
First there was the infamous Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber website and now there is Dani Shay, a.k.a. the Bieber doppelganger.
The 22-year-old singer has an uncanny resemblance to Bieber. She does not deny it, her Facebook description reads: “A lesbian who looks like Justin Bieber… but is uniquely different in her own ways!”.
Shay notes the comparisons in her parody of Bieber’s “Baby” and in the description for the video, that has near 200,000 views: “stopped everywhere I go because people think I am Justin Bieber. Before I even knew who he was, no matter what I was wearing, I would be asked for photos, autographs etc. This is my response to that.”
Here’s a video of her covering both Rihanna and Eminem’s parts in her cover of “Love the Way You Lie”:
