I’ve come to the conclusion that anything popular will somehow spurn a Star Wars parody. It’s basically like the porn industry but safe for work.
Since Justin Bieber still reigns supreme and we can’t go a day without talking about the well-coiffed superstar, here’s the latest Star Wars parody, a new spin on “Boyfriend.” “Droidfriend” stars C3-Bieb-O, a lonely droid who wants to be your friend.
The original Bieber would have to admit that this droid has some swag: C3-Bieb-O has a spiffy haircut, has the falsetto down and is dancing with all the hot lifeforms. Just make sure to watch it all to catch the heartbreaking end.

We have a gift for you! Actually we have several gifs for you and they’re all from Justin Bieber’s new video for “Boyfriend,” which was released today. Just look at him, dancing in his flashy gold shoes and leather jacket, and pulling a JT/MJ in front of the moon. Don’t lie, you know you want to have fondue with him. [Source]

Justin Bieber has major swag — both literally and figuratively — in his new video for “Boyfriend,” directed by Director X. The first couple teasers he released were apparently intended to throw us off or he changed his mind at the last minute. Instead of the Michael Jackson “Thriller” video I was expecting, it was truer to the behind the scenes video he released a couple days ago.
We get a glimpse of those teasers at the very beginning, but exactly 30 seconds in the song stops, the video goes blank and it starts all over again but this time at a car park.
Justin and his friends are doing donuts and posing pretty in their souped up cars. Although he has major bling and looks tuff (Grease Lightening tuff) he’s also a sensitive guy, whispering in a girl’s ear and playing her songs on the guitar. Really, who can resist someone that vows to be your Buzz Lightyear and eat fondue with you?
He’s markedly more grown-up in this video, seducing a lady who looks like an older version of Selena Gomez (aww). All in all he’s handling his evolution from kid to young adult pretty well. He also has some pretty sweet JT-style moves near the end of the video, which in fact do look cooler in gold shoes.

Justin Bieber didn’t know how to describe how he smells when a fan asked him on the Capital Breakfast Show so he allowed host Dave Berry to give him a good whiff: ”he smells like a unicorn running through a field of fresh flowers,” he said.
On top of fielding the expected questions about body odour, Justin teased his upcoming video for “Boyfriend even more, on U.K’s Capital Breakfast Show with Berry and Lisa Snowdon. The slew of teasers we’ve already seen just aren’t enough.
“There are some big surprises with the video and I’m excited for people to see it,” he said. “It’s going to be like: ‘that’s kind of a weird twist!’”
The track is from his forthcoming album, which comes out on June 18. You can expect collaborations with Drake and Taylor Swift.

Indie pop godess Marina and the Diamonds (aka Marina Lambrini Diamandis) slowed down JB’s “Boyfriend” and made it a little softer than the tender version we’re used to. She performed an acoustic set on Wednesday morning for BBC Radio 1′s “Live Lounge” series along with her new single “Primadonna.” And she KILLED it.
Her cover is a fresh take on the song, which has been playing hourly on the radio, plus she puts a lot of feeling into the vocals. She even went so far as to make a couple lyrical changes, but they work! Her album Electra Heart will be released on April 30th.
