Ted Williams, the man with a golden voice found on a Columbus, Ohio freeway exit, has been reunited with his mother Julia after not seeing her for 20 years. The two had an emotional exchange at a New York City hotel.

However the reunion did have some politics involved. Most notably media outlets had a feud about who would post the video first. In the end The Columbus Dispatch won the right to post the first video. Only fair considering they found Ted.

“Hi, Mommy! Hi, Mommy! Hi, Mommy!” repeated Williams as he approached and embraced Julia in a New York City hotel. “I told you I was coming this year. I don’t look my best, but I’m home.” Julia responds by saying, “My prodigal son has come home.”

When she tells him, “Please don’t disappoint me,” he responds, “I’m not, Mom, I’m not. I’m through with it all. Mother, I love you so much.”

So hopefully this is the beginning of a happy ending.

Hollywood hearthrob GEORGE CLOONEY has confessed to pal JULIA ROBERTS he has undergone cosmetic surgery on his eyes, during an exclusive interview.

Roberts quizzed her OCEAN’S ELEVEN co-star in his Los Angeles home, in an interview that will appear on OPRAH WINFREY’s Oscars special show.

When asked what had been the last big change in his life, Clooney replied, “I had my eyes done. Can you tell? I think it’s important to look awake.”

When the tables were turned, mother-of-two Roberts insisted she has not had any surgery done “yet.”
