It seems that performing is turning into a dangerous feat nowadays. Just last week, Justin Bieber suffered a concussion after running into a glass wall during a concert in Paris. This weekend, a dancer accidentally hit Lady Gaga on the head with pole during “Judas” in Auckland, New Zealand on Sunday. The accident resulted in a concussion for the singer.
Of course, we all know how hard Lady Gaga works. Even Elton John confessed that he worries for the singer whose busy schedule leaves little room for rest. So, it’s no surprise here that Gaga opted to endure her injury and continue on with the show, performing another 16 songs.
Gaga’s make-up artist later tweeted, “Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I’m taking care of her.cant believe she finished the show.”
Check out how she follows the dancer with a machine gun after the incident below:
Well this is embarrassing. Lady Gaga is being sued by Rebecca Francescatti who claims Gaga ripped off “Judas” from her.
Rebecca claims to have written a song called “Juda” in 1999, which sounds quite similar to Gaga’s tune. And Rebecca has proof Gaga’s song is hers. Rebecca’s former bass player, Brian Gaynor, is now employed by a song writing firm that wrote 17 of the songs on “Born This Way.”
Rebecca’s lawyer, Chris Niro, tells TMZ, “Though the songs are different styles, the composition is the same and the chorus is the same melody … [Rebecca] is seeking recognition for what she created.”
Rebecca is suing for an unspecified amount. Rebecca certainly has some convincing evidence, and this definitely hurts some of Gaga’s credibility.
Well, that’s what happens when you don’t write your own songs.
From the lyrics of ‘Bad Romance,’ Lady Gaga is a free bitch, baby.
The ‘Judas’ singer announced on the BBC’s ‘Graham Norton Show’ that she is no longer dating longtime beau, New York bartender and diet book author Luc Carl.
In an episode airing tonight, Gaga appears on the show in an avant-garde wedding gown and confesses, “I’m not dating. No, there’s no boyfriend. I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress.”
“I haven’t been on any dates recently because I have been working so hard and I get very bored very quickly with men. I guess they would get freaked out by this wedding dress,” Gaga said.
Gaga and Carl dated before she became an international sensation several years ago when she was performing on the Lower East Side, where he bartended, but they later split. They then rekindled their romance, but now are off again.
Gaga claims Carl changed her views on sex, though.
“I never actually enjoyed sex until two years ago. It was a proper monogamous relationship in which I felt free enough to trust and I had enough self-love,” she explained. “Sex is the ultimate expression of vulnerability, and for me it was important to know that it was a proper relationship so it was sex as a source of love and nothing else.”
I never even knew Gaga was dating anyone, so this news is kind of shocking for me. I think she needs to focus on herself a bit, although it was nice to know she was dating someone who knew her before she was famous. Oh well, I’m sure she’ll find some other guy – She’s Lady Gaga, after all!
Lady Gaga has released the music video for ‘Judas,’ the second single off her upcoming album ‘Born This Way.’
“I want to allow the video to speak for itself but I will say that the theme of the video and the way that I wanted to aesthetically portray the story was as a motorcycle Fellini movie where the apostles are revolutionaries in a modern-day Jerusalem,” Gaga explained to MSNBC. “And I play Mary Magdalene leading them into the town where we meet Jesus and I will leave the rest for you to see. But it’s meant more to celebrate faith than it is to challenge it.”

Lots of these song names sound very… unique. I think the album will be very dark, rock and roll, and heavy – a nice but expected change from Gaga. Her second single, ‘Judas,’ was a nice hint of this new image. The album drops on May 23, and the video for ‘Judas’ drops on the 5th. Can’t wait!
Lady Gaga has released her second single ‘Judas,’ which is available for listen at Perez Hilton. The song is also available for purchase on iTunes.
The song has the typical Gaga feel – rock, 80s beats, futuristic vibes – and of course, is sure to anger many Catholics around the world. “Jesus is my virtue, and Judas is the demon I cling to,” sings Gaga.
The song didn’t immediately appeal to me, I’m more of a Britney fan myself, but it’s slowly growing on me. Her songs have a way of creeping up to you. Her fans seem to like it though – it’s already gotten over 6,000 tweets and 5,000 Facebook shares. It’s the beginning of a Gaga revolution – the woman can do no wrong in the eyes of her fans!
Her full studio album ‘Born This Way’ will be released May 23, 2011. Gaga also unveiled her ‘Born This Way’ album cover last night, which can be viewed here.
