The Internet is a vast place, full of dark secrets and Reddit inside jokes. Puppets Glove and Boots do their very best to tack down just 10 things on the internet they don’t understand. I have two questions for my puppet pals:
1. How do you even whittle the list down to TEN things when there are Patrick Star memes to talk about?
2. Why is there a photo of Joseph Gordon-Levitt on your wall? Don’t get me wrong, I fully approve, but I don’t know how he fits into this video.
Other than that, thanks for reminding me Instant Cosby exists. I’m just going to waste my afternoon on Bill Cosby and his sweaters now.
Once upon a time, before Joseph Gordon-Levitt became a Hollywood heartthrob, he was just a young boy on Jeopardy.
Known mostly as Tommy Solomon in 3rd Rock from the Sun, Gordon-Levitt was present in a celebrity edition of the game show to support the charity Zero Population Growth (now called Population Connection), a group that works towards stopping an unsustainable rate of world population growth. Also present, was Kirsten Dunst and Benjamin Salisbury.
Unfortunately, JGL didn’t win but managed to get really excited to answer a question from his favourite book The Catcher in the Rye.

What better way to represent American pride and values to than through R. Kelly’s timeless and beloved classic, Ignition (Remix)??
The song turned 10 years old on Jan. 22, and someone in the land of the free thought the best way to celebrate was to create a petition suggesting it become the new national anthem. They even found a way to pay tribute to the inspirational lyrics in the actual text of the document. As they so eloquently put it:
The petition currently has 2,000 signatures, and if it reaches 100,000, the Obama administration is technically obligated to respond. While they do have a tendency to ignore such requests, they did once respond to a petition requesting a government-commissioned Death Star (they said no, citing “fiscal impracticality” – only in America).
This has all the makings of an AMAZING reality show. I’m picturing a national competition in which YouTubers everywhere (including Young the Giant and Joseph Gordon-Levitt) vie for the chance to be the official singer of the anthem,
Okay, I’m getting ahead of myself. I love me some R. Kelly, but I don’t think Beyonce belting out “It’s the freakin’ weekend baby I’m about to have me some fun,” would have quite the same affect at the next inauguration.
The internet can sometimes be a scary place. Animals act like humans, people eat things that they really shouldn’t be eaten and faces get swapped. Sometimes, the celebrities do look better as their romantic love interests. Other times, the result can be quite frightening.
Here are just some of the unsettling face swaps to float around the internet.

There’s no doubt that R. Kelly’s “Ignition (Remix)” is an incredibly sexy song — now that I’ve grown up and fully understand the lyrics — but it’s hardly romantic. At least that’s what I thought before I heard James Dalby’s acoustic cover.
I know what you’re thinking. And while I agree that this song is a tad overdone in the world of YouTube cover artists, this one is worth a listen. He may not be as cute as Joseph Gordon-Levitt or as well-known as Young the Giant (both of whom have covered the song in the past), but he does a damn good job making it his own.
He has also posted covers including Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” and Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody,” and they’re both amazing! This guy should not go unheard.
In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Anderson Cooper practically admits he’s a Beyoncé fangirl like the rest of us and Justin Bieber instagrams his ass.
HIT: Anderson Cooper understands the world’s Beyoncé obsession
While the world (okay, the press) still appears to be reeling from Beyoncé lip syncing-gate, Anderson Cooper pretty much laid it why everyone else loves the Queen B. Cooper nails his Ridiculist segment right off the bat when he says, “So what? As far as I’m concerned, it’s Beyoncé’s world and we are just living in it.” While Beyoncé is no Arethra Franklin (who performed lived during the 2009 inauguration), at least Bey didn’t screw it up when the wrong backing track played and she did a little jig (ahem, Ashley Simpson on SNL).
MISS: Justin Bieber Instagrams a photo of his ass crack

Like a Pokémon, Justin Bieber is evolving right before our eyes. Recently, the teen pop star made the leap from just plain shirtless photos to an ass crack! (They grow up so fast, don’t they?) But we have to ask: does the ass crack shot mean n00dz are not to far down the road? While teenage hormones may be screaming yes, the rest of the world hopes that he keeps that under wraps because no one wants to see his scrawny self, ass and all.
HIT: Even Michael J. Fox is making fun of Taylor Swift’s love life

You’d think Taylor Swift would get the hint on how exactly over-exposed her love life is after Michael J. Fox, who seems like the nicest celebrity ever, told Vulture he wouldn’t want his 23-year-old son Sam to date her (dammit, Tina Fey for putting the idea in everyone’s heads!). Not only did Fox approve of Swift’s break-up songwriting ways (“What a way to build a career.”), he probably wouldn’t even recognize her if she started dating his (finally age appropriate) son. He’ll probably tune in on who she is once the break-up song goes on the air: “‘Sam, You Piece of Shit.’ Oh … that was the girl you brought home!” Fox later apologized to T-Swift who tweeted, “”Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back.”

Yesterday, we saw how Rian Johnson’s Looper would be like if it were remade into a movie full of dirty jokes, farts and cheap humour. But what if Looper was secretly just a remake of a 90s film?
Here in the Disney version, we see scenes of a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a much younger, hairier Bruce Willis in what seems like…a heartwarming, family classic.
I was pretty mind-blown after watching Rian Johnson’s Looper last night. From its crazy fight scenes to the story’s wicked concept, I just couldn’t stop thinking about the film after watching it.
But what if Looper was remade into Pooper? Filled with disgusting fart sounds and cheap humour, I couldn’t help cracking up at this parody trailer. As stupid as this looks, the editing was just TOO GOOD.

A list of promises celebrities want in the next election:
Selena Gomez: If you talk about babies, it has to be a REALLY good story.
Zac Efron: Keep tigers out of schools.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt: Dubstep
Benicio Del Toro: Vote yes to cats.
Okay, so most of those things won’t happen because they’re just ridic, but these celebrities are just trying to prove a point! Selena Gomez, Zac Efron, Joseph Gordon Loves-it Levitt all participated in the “Vote 4 Stuff” campaign, which encourages people to participate in the upcoming US presidential election.
If you tell the organization what you’re voting for on Facebook, Twitter (#vote4stuff) or YouTube then they’ll incorporate it in their next video!
Unfortunately, I think most of the commenters on YouTube missed the point. See what they’re voting for below and tell us in the comments what’s important to you.
1. “I vote for Zac Efron naked” — itslikeperfect
2. “I vote for making a Hollywood movie set here in glorious nation Uzbekistan. We have best horses in all Asia, and best prostitutes too” — Varodunham92
3. “I vote for ppl to be rich so I can stop going to fucking school” — john90124
4. “JUSTIN BIEBER NAKED” — Maja Kobal
5. “LIGALIZE MARIHUANA !” — 10Venax

Welcome to our new favourite Tumblr account called The Kawaii Project. What does kawaii mean exactly? It’s the quality of cuteness in Japanese culture. Despite their best attempts to make these celebrities cute, I’m more inclined to say they’re absolutely TERRIFYING. Especially Kanye West, above. What do you think?

Yikes. Looks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt got into a bit of trouble for his comments during a Comic-Con panel this week.
Promoting his new film Looper with co-stars Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, Gordon-Levitt tread into dangerous water when he complimented Blunt’s sense of humour by saying: “She’s funny…and let’s face it, most pretty girls aren’t funny.”
But while co-star Blunt tried to mask her shock compounded by the moderator’s attempt to joke about how pretty women don’t need to try to be funny, the 50/50 actor quickly backtracked and said, “I don’t want to make sweeping generalizations.”
Oh Joseph.
I know we all say a lot of stupid things in life, but I really hope you didn’t mean that. There are several gorgeous and hilarious women in the world! Think Emma Stone, Tina Fey or Mila Kunis! Even your pal Zooey Deschanel is quite funny as well.
And besides, the idea of beauty is subjective.
The official trailer for Looper is out and it looks totally awesome!
Directed by Rian Johnson, the science-fiction film is a futuristic look at gang culture. Set in the year 2042, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a mob hitman who assassinates targets that arrive from the future of 2072. While it’s just a job for the mobster, all is well until he receives a new target: himself from the future.
Also starring Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, the film is set to come out on September 28.
Since time travel, action and loud explosions have always fascinated me, I am pumped to see this movie! But other than that, JGL is looking particularly buff for this role. Having made good career choices in 500 Days of Summer, Inception and 50/50, it will definitely be interesting to see him kicking his own ass from the future.

The third trailer for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Risesproves the movie will be just as epic as we hoped. The movie follows Batman eight years after he took the fall for Two Face’s crimes. A new terrorist leader, Bane overwhelms Gotham City.
The star-studded cast includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy and will be out on July 20. Oh and of course, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be the mysterious cop John Blake (swoon).
Other reasons why the clip is badass? It starts off with Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle predicting: ”There’s a storm coming.” This is followed by a series of explosions, including cars, bridges, buildings and trucks. Plus, we get a clip of Batman’s flying vehicle, dubbed The Bat.
Watch it here:

After a week of teasing the teaser, the Looper trailer is finally out.
Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, the futuristic sci-fi film revolves around an assassin (Gordon-Levitt) who jumps back in time to kill his targets. Things get complicated when he’s assigned to kill his future self (Willis).
Gordon-Levitt as a badass and time traveling? Smells like a winning combination to me.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt – the actor, troubadour, independent film-trailblzers and recreational musician – remember his duet with Zooey Deschenel pre-New Years Eve?
That was until his Hit RECord event at Sundance on Thursday night, the 50/50 star strapped on his acoustic and belted out an adorkable rendition of the Beatles classic. It was a part of Gordon-Levitt’s collaborative company – the event also included a reading of Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, a variety of short films and a heaping of fan-interaction as he encouraged everyone to turn their recording devices on. Most of those fans did and nearly every moment of the 90-minute performance is captured and already uploaded to the official Hit RECord website.
Oh – and he recently cleared up the definition of ‘hipster’ as: Someone who kind of dresses up like an artist but they don’t actually make anything. He added, “So all you people calling me a hipster can go fuck yourselves cause I’m makin’ shit all the goddam time. People are like, ‘You wear skinny jeans’ but these are 501s man.”
Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have created a cute video where they sing a duet called “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve.”

It looks like Christian Bale is retiring his black cape for good.
“I wrapped a few days ago so that will be the last time I’m taking that cowl off,” Bale told the Phillipine Daily Inquirer. “I believe that the whole production wrapped yesterday, so it’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and Chris – that will be the end of that Batman era.”
“We always maintained from the beginning that if you wanted to break it down, there are three personas – Batman is sincere, the private Bruce Wayne is sincere. The public version of Bruce Wayne, the playboy, is a completely fabricated performance.”
Out of all his coworkers, Bale admitted that he was most impressed with Anne Hathaway’s performance and work.
“I had plenty of scenes with Anne,” Bale said. “And I was there when we did the screen test for her. The thing that I said to Chris [Nolan] that day was that there were many very accomplished actresses who had read for the role. I’m terrible at auditions, so I’m very impressed when somebody really seems to acquire an ownership of a character without having worked on it or prepared for some amount of time.”
“When Chris watched the screen test, he agreed that Anne did a wonderful job. In many ways, she has the hardest job. There are a number of people who feel that the Catwoman role has been defined previously. So, I always saw Anne’s role as being the toughest job of any of us. In my case, I’ve stopped referencing outside sources. I now reference Chris’ own world of Batman as a guide to what I will continue doing.”

Anne Hathaway is Selina Kyle/Catwoman in “The Dark Knight Rises.”
However, his other castmates did not go unnamed by Bale, calling Tom Hardy “a phenomenal actor,” and Joseph Gordon-Levitt a ”very intriguing guy…somebody who truly seems to love acting.”

Tom Hardy plays Bane in “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Levitt plays John Blake in “The Dark Knight Rises.”
The movie is set to be released on July 20, 2012.

That’s a wrap!
After seven months of filming, the Dark Knight Rises has come to an end. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays police officer John Blake, has told E! Online that filming on director Christopher Nolan’s final Batman flick ended on Monday. That means we’re one step closer to seeing it on the big screen!
While JGL gushed about how he loved filming in New York City with his coworkers, E! says further details about the Dark Knight Rises are being kept in the dark. Nevertheless, we can’t wait to hear more and see the first trailer when it’s released. It’s guaranteed to be one of the most legendary Batman films yet. Let the countdown begin!
The Dark Knight Rises is set to break box office numbers in July, 2012.
You may know him from 3rd Rock From the Sun or 500 Days of Summer or perhaps his most recent film, 50/50. Good ol’ Joe is not just an actor but sometimes a musician.
At a recent stint at Ohio State University, Joseph Gordon-Levitt performed a few songs on acoustic guitar for a large crowd of students. One of the songs on the setlist was “Ignition” by the man who believes he could fly, R. Kelly. Yes, the same man who believes midgets were in his closet. The same man that hits on little girls and denies it afterwards. R. Kelly is a very unlikely artist for a indie film star like Joseph to cover, however, because it’s so surprising is why this video is so entertaining.
Halfway through the song, Joseph asks the audience if they lik sex. “Me too!” he replies, and continues to sing the sexually charged song.
Joseph, feel free to stick your key in my ignition whenever you want. Watch the video posted below.
After months of speculation of who Joseph-Gordon Levitt will play in the new Batman film, “The Dark Knight Rises”, fans can finally release a sigh of relief as the name of his role has been released.
In March, it was reported that Gordon-Levitt would play Albert Marcone, the son of major Gotham crime boss Alberto Falcone, played by Tom Wilkinson in the first of Christopher Nolan’s films, “Batman Begins.”
According to to a Warner Bros. press release, the actor will instead play John Blake, “a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Comissioner Gordon.”
On the other hand, Marion Cotillard, who was long assumed to be part of the cast, was also made official on Tuesday. She will play Miranda Tate, who according to Warner Bros. is a “Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father’s philanthropic endeavors for Gotham.”
Gordon-Levitt and Cotillard will join three-time Batman Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, who will play Selena Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy, who will serve as Bale’s nemesis.
This will be the final Batman film Nolan will direct. After the film, Warner Bros. will reboot the series, in which Nolan will produce.
With this star-studded cast, there will be high expectations for this film!!
But with rebooting of the series? That, I am not too sure about.
How many Batman films do they need??
