After getting murder charges dropped, John Mark Karr is now ready for his story to be turned into a movie. Karr also would like Johnny Depp to portray him in the murder movie.

Karr, 41, who has pitched the idea of the movie through a series of e-mails and phone calls to University professor Michael Tracey, thinks the movie about his story will rake in around a billion dollars, reports EntertainmentWise.

Karr was arrested after he confessed that he killed the Jon Benet Ramsey. After days of investigation, police feel that Karr was nowhere near Jon Benet. They are convinced that he was home with his family during the time of the murder. To further prove it, Karr’s DNA did not match the DNA at the crime scene.

Even though the murder charges were dropped, he is still arrested for child pornography charges that were committed back in 2001.

Johnny Depp has not commented on the matter.
