Nope. You did not read that wrong. Because the picture above just proves it.
Fans of Mad Men and Harry Potter will be delighted to see that Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe are filming a four-part comedy series together called A Young Doctor’s Notebook.
The series, which will air on Britain’s Sky Arts channel, will feature semi-autobiographical tales taken from playwright Mikhail Bulgakov’s own experiences working as a provincial doctor during the beginning of the Russian Revolution in 1917. Radcliffe, will play the younger version of Russian medic Dr. Vladimir Bomgard, who has funny exchanges with his older self, played by Hamm.
While I wasn’t sure about Radcliffe’s resemblance to Hamm, these pictures certainly throw my doubts away. Side by side, they actually look a lot alike! (And can we mention a scene where the two will be in a bathtub together?!)
Okay, but seriously. I can’t wait to see how this series turns out. Nice to see Radcliffe branching out in interesting roles! (SOURCE)

In celebration of having done 100 digital shorts, Saturday Night Live pulled out the big guns and called on Justin Bieber. Well not only Justin Bieber. The short also featured Justin Timberlake, Michael Bolton, Usher, Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell and Natalie Portman. Yea, just a few big names. Character cameos included Shy Ronnie, Jack Sparrow and Sergio the Sax Man.
The video starts with Bieber playing the part of Lonely Islander Akiva Schaffer, with Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg. After a whole lot of shenanigans, that include Natalie Portman rapping obscenities and Timberlake presenting his goods in a box, we learn Bieber was tricked into the whole thing. ”I was tricked into doing this. I don’t endorse this song. No, no, no, no,” he says as Hamm air humps him.
Saturday’s episode was hosted by Will Ferrell with Usher as the musical guest. Next week’s finale will be hosted by Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger.

One Direction told andPOP if they had to choose a sixth member of the band they’d choose Ed Sheeran! Find out what Ed Sheeran had to say about that here. We also watch a video of Jon Hamm giving advice to 16-year-old girls (it’s not creepy we promise) and sympathize with a very unlucky couple.

In “Reasons Why We Love Jon Hamm” news, I present this interview with Rookie, in which he manages to give dating advice to teenagers without sounding like a creepy internet stalker. Consider that he has bedhead, a morning rasp and some scruff (completely different from his Mad Men polish) and still look dayam good.
The 41-year-old offers his age old wisdom on topics like sex, dating and farting, sounding slightly like your protective dad but more like the cool uncle.
We swoon when he tells a girl to slow her roll when it comes to having sex and “doing stuff.”
“I’m going to have to know what this other ‘stuff’ is,” Hamm says. “If it’s making out, he should want to do that. It’s super fun. If it’s having sex, that has other things to deal with. He’s probably right in saying slow your roll.”
The interview was for Rookie’s “Grown Man Series.” So listen to Don Draper. You hear?

I have to admit that I’m inexplicably intrigued by Kim Kardashian’s life. Don’t give me that look! I know there are a ton of you out there, considering she now has more Twitter followers than President Obama.
At the same time, I don’t know why we’re drawn to such sadistic drama. Even The Hunger Games’ Jennifer Lawrence backs me up on this. She recently commented on how we see Kim’s life as entertainment: “I was watching the Kardashian girl getting divorced, and that’s a tragedy for anyone,” Lawrence told Parade. “But they’re using it for entertainment, and we’re watching it.”
Kim is a leading lady in the media so it’s no surprise that if a celebrity utters one good or bad word against her, it’s blown out of proportion. Those “battles” are like wildfires — one quote is misinterpreted and all of Hollywood goes a blazing!
Here’s the running tally:

1) We all heard about Jon Hamm slamming the Kims and Paris Hiltons out there. But when Kim slammed Hamm right back by calling him careless, instead of apologizing the Mad Men actor stood by his original burn and said on The Today Show: “It’s a part of our culture that I certainly don’t identify with, and I don’t really understand the appeal of it other than in a sort of car crash sensibility. And it’s not something that I partake in or enjoy, but it is what is and here we are.” He also said: “There are a lot of channels on the dials and those channels need to be filled up with things… Its different strokes for different folks” If this feud continues it might become bigger than Kim’s booty!
2) Tough guy actor Jason Statham recently jumped on the bandwagon of insults. During his most recent interview with Details magazine he was asked if he considers himself a brand… his response was “Fahk ‘em. Kim Kardashian’s a brand.”

3) Kris Humphries’ made his first public dig about Kim to Life & Style on March 20. He told the magazine: “I am a genuine person who says it like it is,” he told the mag on March 20. “I only like to be involved with things I truly believe in. It’s the kind of person I am. A lot of people do things just for money, but that’s not for me.” That kind of seems like a dig at workaholic Kim. Wow divorce really does bring out the best in people!
A look back:
4) Relationship expert Misogynist Snoop Dogg gave Chris Humphries advice on how to deal with Kim in a recent online video. He said Kim’s “cold-blooded, I’m pretty sure she’ll have a book in a month talking about all the n****s that she got and how she played them.” He also added “so, my advice is you can’t make a ho a housewife. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel.” While I want to think the best of Snoop I wonder if Kim formerly rejected the rapper’s come-ons. In “Drop It Like It’s Hot” he raps: ”See I specialize in making all the girls get naked,” but maybe he wasn’t hot enough for Kim.
S
5) Barbara Walters did not hold back when she interviewed the Kardashians for her 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 segment. Walters grilled the girls throughout the interview and then implied outright said that she is talentless. “’You don’t really act; you don’t sing; you don’t dance,’ Walters said. ‘You don’t have any – forgive me – any talent!” It’s not really a feud if she’s just stating the facts right? But why is it inappropriate for Jason or Jon to say something similar?

In other unsurprising Kim Kardashian news, Jon Hamm has slammed the reality star with a harsh statement by saying that her success “doesn’t make any sense.”
“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated,” the Mad Men star told Elle UK Magazine.
“Being a f**king idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”
Well, it’s not like Hamm is the only star to criticize Kardashian’s fame. British actor Daniel Craig has also said similar things.
“Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with, but now look at them,” said Craig to Britain’s GQ magazine in an interview. “You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a [expletive] idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’”
Well, that makes me and them both. I still have no idea why the Kardashians are so famous. Maybe it’s because they’re rich and they annoyingly like to make everything public.
Who knows? It must be one of the world’s greatest mysteries.
In my second year of university I went through an obsession with Mad Men, watching every episode back-to-back to the detriment of my school work. Then the Mad Men hiatus came, and like the couple in Portlandia’s Battlestar Galactica episode I went ballistic without my daily fill.
The newly released trailers are teasing me, but at least I can take comfort that the new season starts on March 25. The three promos from AMC are called “Don Is Back,” “Roger Is Back,” and “Mad Men Is Back.”
It looks like there’s tons of style, debauchery, deception and adultery to look forward to. I can’t wait to see how Don deals with his shotgun wedding to French-Canadian Jessica Paré. I actually like his new wife (though I’m a biased Canadian) but I feel the relationship is doomed. What do you think?

If you were one of the millions of people have already seen “Bridesmaids” eleven times already since it came out last year, you might be fond of this new flick starring at least half of its cast.
Jennifer Westfeldt, who’s been dating “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm for over a decade now, wrote the ensemble comedy, “Friend With Kids”, about two single friends having a baby together. Hamm plays opposite SNL’s Kristen Wiig, as a sexy newlywed couple, while her former costars Maya Rudolph and Chris O’Dowd play a married couple with kids.
As you can see from the trailer, each actor has great chemistry with one another. Even “Transformers” starlet Megan Fox has a charming small role in the film.
“Friends With Kids” hits theatres March 9th.
“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm has hopped aboard “Howl,” an upcoming indie feature about the obscenity trial provoked by Allen Ginsberg’s famous poem.
According to Variety, the Golden Globe-winning actor will play Jake Ehrlich, the defence attorney in the trial whose life was also the inspiration for the TV series “Perry Mason.”
As previously reported, James Franco is starring as Ginsberg, while Mary-Louise Parker, David Strathairn, Jeff Daniels, Treat Williams and Alessandro Nivola round out the supporting cast.
