Johnny Knoxville’s dad has a dirty sense of humour. Knoxville revealed to a bong smoking Joan Rivers that when he was younger his dad played a practical joke on him that involved an innocently sleeping Knoxville and a warm hot dog. But that’s all we’re telling you, watch to find out more.
Overcome with emotion and unable to show his feelings while speaking at Ryan Dunn’s memorial service last Wednesday, Johnny Knoxville wrote a blog post to his late friend and “Jackass” co-star, who died in a car crash last week.
In the post, Knoxville spoke of Dunn’s “enormous capacity to love” his friends and family as well as his fun personality.
“I felt 34-percent funnier when I was with Ryan, but I guess everyone did. He had such a hair trigger laugh reflex,” he wrote. “He lived his life wanting to laugh and wanting you to laugh with him. He would cackle really f*cking loud, too, and it wasn’t uncommon that he would fall over from it. Sometimes I would fall with him because his spirit was very contagious.”
But while Dunn was capable of making everyone laugh with him, Knoxville also spoke out on his friend’s serious side.
“Ryan was a great listener. If you were having troubles, he was always someone you could go sit down and talk to. Granted, most of our sitting down was actually standing up playing pool together, but he was always there if you were sad about something. That’s why all this is even harder because right now I really need to talk to him but I can’t.”

Big news for all you “Jackass” fans, Johnny Knoxville has announced he is expecting his third child, PEOPLE reports.
“My wife Naomi and I are super happy to announce that we are having another little bambino in the fall,” Knoxville wrote on his Facebook page.

The 40-year-old daredevil says he has no worries about expanding his clan. “My 15-year-old daughter Madison is very excited about it,” he says. “And her 16-month-old little brother Rocko has, well, no clue. Wahoo!!”
We aren’t ones to scrutinize what anyone does professionally. How you pay the bills is how you pay the bills, but our next interview features a bunch of guys who do some of the craziest stunts you’ve ever seen. We’re actually surprised they’re still alive to do interviews….just watch the interview to see what we mean.
“Jackass” star Steve-O is admitting the error of his ways.
The always controversial stuntman sent out an email apologizing to his friends and family after being hospitalized and put on suicide watch last Sunday.
In the email, Steve-O (born Stephen Glover) calls his recent problems, “a bunch of manic bullsh–.”
The hospitalization came after Glover called a bunch of his friends over to his house to document him performing a highly dangerous stunt involving 25-foot fall onto concrete. A group including Johnny Knoxville, “Jackass” producer/writer Jeff Tremaine, producer Trip Taylor, soundman Cordell Mansfield, cameramen Dimitry Elyaschevich and Rick Kosick, and rapper Reggie “Big Regg” Pace arrived concerned after Glover said in his invitation that he was, “ready to f—ing die.”
Glover’s email states that his friends “physically forced” him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was placed on hold for suicide watch.
Glover goes on to explain the feelings that led to his downward spiral.
“I had thought of ‘bipolar’ as a ‘good’ thing. I rationally deduced, with our time in this life being so limited, it was productive to stick to nothing but extremely high ‘highs,’ and extremely low ‘lows.’ Anything but to ‘crash on the rocks of mediocrity, “ he writes.
“I’ve figured out that I did a great deal of damage to my brain by abusing drugs, and now that they’ve all worn off, I’m facing the consequences.”
Glover is still being held at Cedars-Sinai on a 14-day stay but is maintaining his famous sense of humour. Multiple times in the email, the stuntman refers to the psychiatric facility as a “loony bin, the “cuckoo’s nest” and “insane asylum.”
Johnny Knoxville has incurred a bevy of painful injuries while performing “Jackass” stunts, but his newest accident takes the cake: he nearly castrated himself while riding a motorcycle.
Knoxville was filming a tribute to Evel Knievel in Oklahoma early in February when he had his painful accident.
Updating his blog, Knoxville wrote, “let’s just say before letting Travis Pastrana teach me how to do a backflip on a motorcycle I should have had him teach me to ride one first. Heh-heh…bad for me, good for our viewing audience at home. Have to go now. Have to empty the piss bag on my leg that I have to wear for the next two weeks until my torn urethra heals.”
The tribute will air on MTV on Feb. 23, and Knoxville promised that there will “lots of great stuff in the Evel Knievel tribute besides my trip to the hospital—lots!”
The latest fearless comedy from producers The Farrelly Brothers (THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, DUMB & DUMBER, SHALLOW HAL) asks the question: can a comedy be outlandishly off-the-wall, irreverently indelicate and yet . . . inspirational? THE RINGER spikes the uproarious with the uplifting in a story about an ordinary man who discovers what it truly means to be special when he attempts to “fix” Special Olympics.
Steve Barker (JOHNNY KNOXVILLE) is a nice guy stuck in a mundane desk job when a twist of fate turns his life – and his definition of success – utterly upside down. When Steve works up the courage to ask his boss for a promotion, his wish is surprisingly granted, with one condition: Steve must first fire Stavi (LUIS AVALOS), the long-time janitor at the company. To soften the blow, Steve offers to employ the distraught janitor himself, a decision that quickly backfires when a lawn-care accident lands Stavi in the hospital missing several fingers not to mention medical insurance.
Desperate for the cash to save Stavi’s digits, Steve enlists the help of his smarmy uncle Gary (BRIAN COX), who’s worried about his own skyrocketing gambling debts. In typical fashion, Gary comes up with an unthinkable, contemptible, lower-than-low scheme just crazy enough to seem doable: former track star Steve will compete in the upcoming Special Olympics as a “ringer,” handily defeating the greatest champion of all time, six-time Gold Medal pentathlete Jimmy (LEONARD FLOWERS), whom Gary will bet against.
Racked with remorse over Stavi, Steve begrudgingly goes along with the scandalous plan and transforms himself into “Jeffy,” his new alter-ego. But succeeding at being intellectually challenged turns out to be a far greater challenge than Steve ever imagined. From convincing Special Olympics volunteer Lynn Sheridan (KATHERINE HEIGL), with whom Steve is smitten; to trying to win the friendship of his feisty fellow competitors, Steve is stumped, not to mention not nearly good enough to win any of his events.
To make matters worse, Steve’s co-competitors soon get wise to his scam. But instead of turning against him they decide to join him and train Steve as a competitor themselves, hoping he can topple the arrogant Jimmy from the podium. With a training regimen unlike anything ever seen in sports before, Steve prepares to go for the Gold for his new friends . . . and, in the process, stumbles at long last upon his personal best.
