Jodie Sweetin, or Stephanie Tanner to some, has just given birth to her second child. The new baby girl is named Beatrix, and this is the second child she has had with boyfriend Morty Coyle.
“Jodie was amazing and is doing great,” Coyle tells PEOPLE. “We are now the proud, excited parents of Miss Beatrix Carlin Sweetin Coyle.”
Beatrix made her debut at 7 lbs., 4 oz. and 19 inches long.
“We’re already madly in love with Beatrix and are so grateful for the support from our family and friends. And we can’t wait for her big sister Zoie to meet her,” the couple tell PEOPLE.
Looks like Jodie is going to have a “Full House” of her own (this is where a laugh track would be inserted).
28-year-old actress Jodie Sweetin is working on a Full House of her own. People.com reports that Sweetin is pregnant again and due sometime later this year. The father is her boyfriend of one year, Morty Coyle.
Sweetin already has one child – a daughter, Zoie, with her ex-husband, Cody Herpin.
Although the actress has struggled with addiction in the past, as People.com reports, her rep says that Sweetin is “in a good place” and is “looking forward to moving on with her life and she’s just happy to be a mom.”
She’s just got to pop out a few more and she’ll be well on her way to recreating the Tanner household.
Jodie Sweetin filed papers Wednesday for legal separation from her husband of 16 months, Cody Herpin.
The couple recently announced that they were working on a reality show together, which Sweetin said, at the time, was going to follow the couple and their new baby, now 7 months, Zoie.
According to People, Herpin was “dumbfounded” and said that Sweetin took Zoie and left the couple’s home. He expressed concern, in part, because of Sweetin’s former addiction to methamphetamine. Sweetin entered rehab in 2005 for the addiction. She met Herpin in May 2007, and they married just two months later.
Sweetin is best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on the sitcom Full House.
Jodie Sweetin is enjoying motherhood to seven week old daughter Zoie, which is a drastic role change for the former “Full House” star who previously battled a meth addiction.
“You look at your baby and think, ‘Wow, I did that.’ It’s really amazing,” Sweetin, 26, tells People magazine.
At 22-years-old, Sweetin tried the drug and six months later, developed a daily addiction. In 2005, Sweetin was hospitalized after a night of partying and entered treatment. In May 2007, Sweetin met Cody Herpin, a film transportation coordinator and after two months of dating, the couple wed.
Sweetin was previously married to LAPD officer Shaun Holguin, but the pair split soon after Sweetin left treatment for her addiction.
Sweetin is best known for playing Stephanie Tanner on the popular series “Full House.”
