It’s not surprising that Drake can do a spot-on impersonation of Lil Wayne considering that he’s spent a lot of time with the rapper and that he played Jimmy on Degrassi. Somehow though, the interviewer Tim Westwood is completely mesmerized by Drizzy’s audition for Lil Wayne’s Lifetime movie.
Drake mastered Lil Wayne’s raspy voice and his ability to go from happy to serious in a short span of time. It’s okay though, because the two are good friends so it’s all in good humour.

I used to watch Degrassi back when Drake played Jimmy, a character who lost the use of his legs after being shot by a student gunman. Drake is a lot different than his character but decided to pay homage by debuting the “Wheelchair Jimmy” dance during a live performance in California. He was performing his hit single “The Motto” when he performed the move.
While a lot of people cheered him on, others found it offensive, though I doubt very much that he meant any foul.
