Ladies, I know sometimes it’s super hard to eat healthy and exercise every single day in order to drop a few pounds. It’s much easier to stuff your face whenever you want with whatever you want.

I’m currently writing this article with bacon bits stuck to my shirt. But, I’ll be honest, if I got paid $3 million like Jessica Simpson, there will be nothing but organic carrot juice on my shirt from now on.

Perez Hilton explains the mom-t0-be has been in talks with Weight Watchers for months now, as her baby bump gets bigger and bigger. Jessica looks like she’s about to pop any minute now, and because of the company, she’ll be paid to lose all that baby weight.

“The deal is in place, and after having her baby, she’ll start with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight,” a source says.

Nothing gets you more motivated to get off your ass than money, right? I’ve never been so jealous of Jessica until now.

TMZ has announced that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are officially divorced after three and a half years of marriage. According to the L.A. County Superior Court, their marriage was formally terminated on November 22.

No information has been released about the custody of their child, Bronx Mowgli, but it is rumoured that Simpson is requesting primary custody while Wentz is requesting joint. Wentz says that the split is a cause of the couple growing apart.

It seems that the Simpson sisters are not having much luck in the marriage department! Let’s just hope that Jessica’s soon-to-be marriage with NFL player Eric Johnson ends better than her marriage with singer Nick Lachey or Ashlee’s with Pete. I guess the third Simpson marriage is a charm?

She may have not officially confirmed it yet but we all know Jessica Simpson is preggers. We also know that when a woman’s pregnant, she’s twice as likely to act a little crazy.

The other day Jessica tweeted a photo of herself on the toilet with a caption that says “Short girl problems”. Het feet are seen hanging off the seat, showing how she’s too short for her feet to touch the ground. She may have thought that was funny but the rest of us don’t.

Poor ol’ country pumpkin Jess has said and done some crazy things on and off cameras. Remember that time she claimed the brand Chicken of the Sea was actually chicken and not tuna? Remember when she once claimed she only brushes her teeth three times a week?

Fashion designer Nicole Richie has earned the title of  celebrity mentor on the new NBC series Fashion Star according to People.

She will be joining singer Jessica Simpson, menswear designer John Varvatos and host Elle Macpherson who will all be working with aspiring designers as they compete for a chance to win the title of ‘fashion star’ and a multi-million dollar contract that will allow them to start their own brands.

Richie’s fashion resume includes a House of Harlow jewelry collection, footwear, eye wear and handbag lines.

Not only does she have a successful women’s collection, but also a maternity line called Pea in the Pod.

With such an extraordinary group of mentors and designers, the show looks promising.

Singing sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are going to launch a tween clothing line, reports Billboard.

The line will be launched under the ‘Jessica Simpson Collection’ label and will include everything from sportswear to denim to fashion-forward pieces. The line will hit stores in the fall.

Jessica and Ashlee will reportedly serve as the collection’s co-creative directors.

“Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” Jessica told WWD.

Ashlee adds, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

Scoff not at this idea, though. Jessica’s adult clothing line, titled ‘The Jessica Simpson Collection’ and features virtually anything from shoes to handbags, racked in a total of $750 million in 2010.

I think the line will do well, as all of Simpson’s clothing ventures do. I think she markets it right, prices it low, and creates items that appeal to a large demographic.

Radar Online is reporting that Jessica Simpson and BF Eric Johnson are engaged to be married after only seven months of dating.

Suspicions were raised when Simpson was spotted sporting a gigantic rock at an appearance in Kansas City this weekend. Her rep was quick to confirm the rumor, saying they were “Happy to confirm that Jessica and Eric are engaged.”

The news comes just days after Simpson’s ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to new flame Vanessa Minnillo. Though considering the circumstances, we’d say ex-football player Johnson is a major upgrade from the 98 Degrees washup.

We’re sure Jess knows what she’s doing this time around, right?

During a recent interview, Jessica Simpson basically said she wishes she had a bigger butt. We are serious!

“I have a white girl booty. I don’t have a big butt. I’d rather have a happy medium and take some off my chest and put it towards my butt so I could balance out a bit,” the pop star told Closer Magazine.

On all the press about her weight:
“People talked about my weight for an entire year. Being famous for gaining 10lbs is ridiculous! I didn’t feel as fat as everybody was making me out to be. Even the president felt he had to make a comment – although I think he was caught off guard as the picture was thrown in front of his face!”

On how her boyfriend Johnson has helped her love her body:

Reports are surfacing that Jessica Simpson has been having meetings with the top brass at Fox about becoming a judge on “American Idol.”

TMZ reports that producers are desperate to find a replacement for Simon Cowell, and Jessica could be an ideal fit. In theory, she does make sense as a replacement. She has experience in reality TV and of course is a music business veteran. The question remaining is if she has the star power to turn around “American Idol’s” dismal ratings.

However the show needs a hard ass now that Cowell is leaving. Jessica is a nice and sensitive girl. She isn’t going to tell anybody that they suck!

An official announcement will be made in September.

Jessica Simpson went makeup-less and photoshop-less for a recent cover shoot of Marie-Claire magazine.

This move by Simpson aligns with her natural beauty mantra. It also fits well for her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty.” Quite frankly we don’t think she looks bad – she looks like a real person.

Jessica suffered through a weight controversy last year which changed her view on her appearance. “I don’t have anything to prove anymore,” she told the mag. “What other people think of me is not my business.”

We all have one: “backups”. You know, in high school you promise your best guy friend that if you are both single by the time you’re forty you will get married? Well, some of us have anyway and although you’d think celebs would be the last to need a backup, Jessica Simpson has one. The dose.ca reports:

The singer and reality star appeared on Barbara Walters’ Sirius XM Radio show called “Here’s Barbara” and revealed that she will have a child by the time she is 40 with, or without a husband. She is going to use her hair stylist and dear friend Ken Paves, who happens to be interested in men.

The blonde bombshell is only 29, and still has plenty of time to meet Mr. Right, but has had some bad luck in the dating pool as of late. There are rumours that Simpson is dating Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, but she was there to set the record straight.

“Right now, I am very single. Billy is a dear, dear friend of mine. I adore him. I love him very much. We will always be friends. He will always be in my life. He is a great spiritual leader and just a phenomenal guy. But, right now, I’m single. But I have been getting a lot of phone calls which is nice.”

Simpson is focusing her attention from men to her new VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty, which debuted last night and so far, has not been gaining much success. The show features Simpson, Paves and CaCee Cobb travelling to Thailand to do things like eat fried worms and cockroaches. The Washington Post’s Hank Stuever is not her best critic, “Simpson’s naivete about the world beyond her own crosses a line from mildly clueless to patently offensive,” he wrote.

Jessica Simpson is coming back in a big way! The multitalented starlet is taking a big leap back into TV and a big leap back into music, and is also teaming up with legendary rocker Billy Corgan.

Simpson is staring in a new docuseries called “The Price of Beauty” which will follow the new life of the pop star. Jessica told MTV News about the experience.

“I view the world very differently,” she said. “Everything’s not as big of a deal as people make it out to be, and that’s a really great place to be in. I know there’s nothing that anybody can say about me that will take me to a very low place, because I am stronger.”

The theme song for the show is titled “Who We Are.” In writing the song Jessica partnered with Billy Corgan, Evan Bogart, Shari Short and Kerry Brown.

“I ended up writing the song with some friends and it was about all these places that I’d gone to and the experience that I had,” she told MTV News about the track written specifically for the show.

In the song, Simpson seems to answer critics with lines like “We’re beautiful/ Our flaws and all/ They’re beautiful to me/ It’s who we are, who we are/ It’s who we’re meant to be.”

Next time you’re trying to score some media attention, look no further than mom jeans.

In an interview with Allure magazine, Jessica Simpson openly discusses her perceived weight gain, the state of her past relationships and her plan to (finally) keep her clothes on.

After a photo was released last year of Simpson looking portly in a pair of high-waisted jeans, whispers of a relationship-induced weight gain fluttered across the Internet.

“When I walk through an airport and people go, ‘You’re not fat!’ I’m like, ‘Thanks. That’s great. Good to know I’m not fat today! Thank you!”

Apparently, any weight she may or may not have gained has nothing to do with getting dumped by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, of whom Simpson is still “a fan”.

“I’m a huge fan. I wear my gear, and I cheer Tony on. You know, I talked to Tony today. None of my breakups, none of it’s been bitter.”

Finally, Jessica tells Allure that the amount of skin we saw in “Take My Breath Away”, “These Boots Were Made for Walkin’” and Dukes of Hazzard is a thing of the past.

“I will never do nudity. I don’t care how dark and intellectual the role could be, you know. I don’t care if I frickin’ could get an Oscar for it, I’m not going to do it. Those accolades mean nothing to me. I don’t think people deserve to see what’s under my clothing.”

Granted, parenthood is complex.  Children need unconditional love, stability and guidance. 

When parents fail to provide any of those needs, you end up with the childhood version of Drew Barrymore.

Based on the number of celebs who have entered rehab in recent years, it’s obvious that more than a handful have some loose screws. While many blame a star’s inability to adjust to a lifestyle of fame and fortune for their problems, perhaps more responsibility should be placed on those who have raised them.

Before you leave me a 500-word thrashing on how I must not understand the difficulties of parenthood, realize that I am not claiming that any parent of a celebrity is a horrible person—just someone in vital need of re-evaluating their very questionable parenting skills.

Without further ado, here are parents of celebrities who, like many of their children, need some mental help:

Dina Lohan:

I never thought I would say these words together in a sentence, but here it goes:

Poor Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay can somewhat blame her out-of-control behaviour on two people in her life. Her parents. But while Lindsay easily points the finger of blame at her alleged abusive father, there is one guilty party she tends to overlook.

Her mother. Dina fame-whore Lohan.

There’s something to be said about a mother who, without her daughter’s approval, hired ‘Entertainment Tonight’ cameramen to follow her visit to the drug rehabilitation centre where Lindsay was receiving “treatment.” Dina also uses her other daughter, fifteen-year-old Ali, to star on their reality show ‘Living Lohan.’ After watching just a few episodes, it’s clear that Dina uses her daughter’s doomed-to-fail career to progress her own.

But it doesn’t stop there.

When Dina is not capitalizing on either daughter’s fame, reports claim she’s out partying and drinking. I can now see why Dina won the Long Island “Mother of the

Year” award back in 2008. Who else was in the running for the title? Courtney Love? You know, the mother who allegedly shot heroin while pregnant with daughter Francis Bean?

So how does Dina (the woman who takes credit for every (rare) good decision Lindsay makes yet denies involvement in every bad choice) expect her daughter to succeed in rehab treatment she receives when she acts out in the exact same uncontrollable way?

While I refuse to absolve Lindsay of any responsibility for her actions, I feel a slight compassion for her knowing that Dina is acting more like a (crappy) best friend than a mother.

Michael Lohan:

There’s no need to state why Michael Lohan will not be winning a “Father of the Year” award anytime soon. But I’m positive that his suspected domestic abusive past or the fact that he’s been in prison more than once doesn’t make him qualify. Then again, stranger things have happened (refer to “Dina won the Long Island ‘Mother of the Year’ award” comment above for further explanation).

Joe Simpson:

The father of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz surely knows how to creep people out.

From his inappropriate comments about his Jessica’s sexiness and size of breasts (The whole “She’s got double D’s! You can’t cover those suckers up!” 2004 GQ magazine interview quote is permanently and painfully burned into my memory) to his overall control of Jessica’s lifestyle, Joe needs to back down and spend time AWAY from his daughters. Even though she is 28, Joe barely allows Jessica out of his sight. I suddenly have an uncomfortable feeling that Joe must’ve attended Jessica’s wedding night with Nick Lachey—just to make sure that she was okay. How romantic.

Lynne Spears:

While Lynne Spears states that she was not a pushy “stage mom” when it came to her daughter’s career, I have a difficult time buying into her claims. I doubt that any child, regardless of how much they want to achieve fame, crave the daily lifestyle that Britney had to endure at her age in the showbiz.

While Lynne appears to have better intentions for her children than Dina Lohan, it is difficult to truly understand her parenting skills (considering both her children have babies and unpredictable/unstable relationships with men).

Linda Hogan:

I have nothing against women dating younger men. But Linda’s relationship with a 19-year-old boy is not the same. When a parent dates a student from their child’s yearbook class page, red flags need to go up.  Then again, the rest of the Hogan family lacks a record of smart life decisions (Hulk Hogan’s comment about “totally” understanding disgraced football player O.J Simpson takes the cake).

After a cruel session of critisism from the media about some unflattering photos, and a recent breakup with boyfriend Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson is starting to recover. At her concert last Thursday US Weekly reports that Simpson felt “so lucky to be here,” revealing to fans that prayer had helped her maintain her confidence after facing worldwide ridicule for her apparent weight gain.

Earlier this month at a show in Michigan, Simpson forgot the lyrics to “Come on Over” and had what was described as a near meltdown on stage, almost in tears. Although she is doing a lot better than she was a month ago, Simpson still forgot the lyrics to the same song this past Thursday at her show in Salt Lake City. Apparently, she managed to laugh it off this time around.

Last week Jessica Simpson was accused of putting on a few by her fans and of course the media followed by one of her performances. Wednesday night Simpson played a show in Virginia and touched on the issue in a very classy manner. Without fully addressing the accusations made by the press she simply stated: “Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder. So just appreciate. I feel like in our world today, we focus on so many things that are completely pointless.” Simpson says it all in that last line.

The focus of body image presented by the media is clearly in an unhealthy state if a hardly large Jessica Simpson is being put down for not looking stick thin. The Simpson family was reportedly appalled and disgusted by the comments that have been made. It is believed to have been blown way out of proportion and hardly worthy of a headline.

Celebedge.com is reporting that Jessica Simpson and her pro-ball beau, Tony Romo were in a huge blowout this weekend with Romo’s family.

Simpson allegedly read the results of a pregnancy test incorrectly and thought that she was pregnant.

In her excitement, she announced the news to Romo’s family who were, surprisingly, not happy about the news.

Romo’s mother is alleged to have said, “How can you do this to us?” in response to the announcement

Simpson was hurt by the family’s response and reportedly a heated argument began.

Rumours have been swirling that Simpson is desperate to conceive since her younger sister, Ashlee, announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Pete Wentz.

Pamela Anderson has declared Jessica Simpson a “bitch and whore.”

Anderson made her bold statements on an Australian radio station. Her anger comes after Simpson wore a shirt that read, “Real girls eat meat,” something that Anderson – a huge PETA supporter and vegetarian – couldn’t stand for.

Simpson’s shirt wasn’t intended to spark a feud with Anderson, but perhaps Carrie Underwood instead. Underwood used to date Simpson’s boyfriend, Tony Romo, and has frequently been on – and topped – PETA’s “Sexiest Vegetarian” lists.

Anderson, for her part, went on to tell the radio station why she was proud to be a vegetarian: “I think it’s healthy, good for your body and good for the environment.”
