In the non-ending saga of Amanda Bynes’ new life, the celebrity tries to convince InTouch that she is not spinning out of control.
“I have no clue [why people say I’m insane]. Every time I’ve heard it, it came from an ugly person’s mouth, so I don’t care,” she said. “The only ones lying about me having a mental illness are people I don’t talk to.”
She adds that she relies on the support of her attractive group of friends: “I only have hot friends,” she says. “They have my back until I die.”
Bynes also claims that is is allergic to alcohol (which she has said in the past) and only smokes tobacco, not weed for anyone wondering. As for her next career move, Bynes hopes to do what she loves which apparently is singing and designing clothes (blerg). Not that she needs the money or anything as she told the mag she was financially set when she retired from acting at the age of 24. “I’ll design clothes and sing because I want to, not because I need the money. I love singing and I can’t wait to start working on an album.”
Um, yeah. But no one wants that.
It’s hard to believe The Price Is Right has been on the air for 40 years now. To celebrate the big achievement, the show will have its first celebrity week in January.
Perez Hilton explains that one celebrity will appear each episode to play for a charity of his or her choosing. These celebs include rapper Snoop Dogg, actress Jenny McCarthy, actor Neil Patrick Harris, rocker Chris Daughtry and supermodel Heidi Klum.
The special Price is Right week wont air on CBS until January 2 but executive producer Mike Richards isn’t afraid to spill the beans on how some stars excelled.
“Let’s just say Snoop knows more about the price of grocery items than you might think!” he says.
Here’s the rundown of episodes, as posted on Perez’s website.
Monday, January 2 — Snoop Dogg playing for Snoop Youth Football League
Tuesday, January 3 — Jenny McCarthy playing for Generation Rescue
Wednesday, January 4 — Neil Patrick Harris playing for The Noreen Fraser Foundation
Thursday, January 5 — Chris Daughtry playing for Alzheimer’s Association
Friday, January 6 — Heidi Klum playing for Unicef
I can’t wait to watch. It’s still not the same without the iconic Bob Barker but Drew Carey is holding his own. I’m more excited to see how Snoop’s episode pans out and whether or not Plinko is played.
After going a month being covered head to toe in pink, Katy Perry’s taking on a different shade.
The “Teenage Dreams” singer traded in her ’50s pink ‘do for a blonde bob with lavender highlights. With this new hairstyle, Katy’s resembling a young Jenny McCarthy.
She not only showed off her new look but her still-husband Russell Brand. Many websites have been reporting of their quiet divorce but the star’s slamming those allegations. From the looks of these photos taken at the David Lynch Foundations’s Change Begins Within event over the weekend, the two couldn’t be happier.
What a night that was. The American Music Awards last night blew everyone’s socks off with killer performances by LMFAO and incredible wins by Adele and Taylor Swift, who, I should add, was not interrupted by Kanye this time. So, all in all, it was a great night in showbiz. The best part of any award ceremony is the red carpet. Hours before the ceremony begins, stars sparkle up and put on their best pair of Spanx while we ogle at their suits and dresses. Here’s my pick for the five best dressed girls of the AMAs.
5. Jenny McCarthy goes for a bold, jewel tone shade of purple that makes her stand out among all those in white and black.
4. Katherine Heigl goes for a revealing black evening gown that looks very sophisticated.
3. Selena Gomez looks all grown up in a silver dress with a very high slit.
2. Jennifer Morrison goes for the boho chic look in a flowy off-white gown.
1. Taylor Swift was by far the fashion gem of the night, literally! Her strapless sequined dress is appropriate for her age and the green earings add a nice touch.
This is an article we didn’t think we would ever have to write. Jim Carrey is splitting with Jenny McCarthy. Yes. You read that correctly – we will give you a second to digest this.
The couple jointly made the announcement via Twitter. “I’m so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart,” McCarthy wrote.
Carrey also had kind words to share about McCarthy. “Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the very best!”
The couple had dated since December 2005 but Carrey never came up with a ring. With a girl like McCarthy we think he is crazy for not doing so. Carrey is an awesome guy but that’s Jenny McCarthy. You don’t let someone like that slip away!
Weight Watchers just added another dazzling star to their long line of celeb spokespeople. Oscar-winning singer and actress, Jennifer Hudson, announced that she is the newest face for the popular weight-loss company, MTV News reports.
After having a 7-month-old-son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., with fiancé, pro wrestler, David Otunga, the star says that Weight Watchers fits into her schedule quite well.
“I can follow the plan no matter where I am, still enjoy my favorite foods and even use the iPhone app to track my points,” she said.
Hudson is very positive about the program and does not see it as a diet.

Jenny McCarthy will appear on today’s episode of “The Hour.”

She was also in town for the Holistic World Expo, where she spoke about her best-selling book “Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism.” McCarthy’s son received a diagnosis of autism with associated language, social and play delays in 2005.
The 35-year-old has been making the talk-show circuit recently, including appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Larry King Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, to share her story.
Also on today’s episode of “The Hour” is ex-Ontario premier Bob Rae, fresh off Monday’s by-election win in Toronto Centre.

There are no immediate plans for marriage between Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy.
People magazine reports that the pair, who started dating in 2005 and kept their relationship on the down-low, are happy just dating one another, with no immediate plans to take the relationship to the next level.
“We’re happy with the way things are. We have no plans to get married,” McCarthy tells the TV entertainment show “Extra.”
The romance between the pair went from down-low to upfront in the summer of 2006, where the couple was spotted everywhere, holding hands and cuddling with one another. The two just returned from Italy, where they were guests at TomKat’s wedding.
According to a source, Carrey is very happy in the relationship.
